About This Listing View Location >>
Bed Configuration: Bedroom 1: King | Living Room: Sleeper Sofa.
This really beautiful addition is spacious and can actually accommodate 4 guests with a futon in the living room. We built the bathroom so that it can be entered both through the bedroom and separately from the living room for privacy at night. This property is located underneath Barbara's Beach House, having had so much success with Sandy's and Laura's lay out way we decided to build underneath Barbara's. With large bright windows and French doors opening out onto a Palapa covered deck you enjoy a beautiful Palm Grove which is lit up at night.
The open area under the Palms is ideal for Barbecuing and hanging out, Michael even has an out door dart board set up with lights that you can use, just remember your darts!

We loved the property. It was immaculate and just as described. It is a little bit away from the main part of town, however for us, that was a nice thing. We rented bikes and rode into town everyday. (All flat terrain) We would rent it again!

The rental unit was terrific. The set up was perfect for 3 people. Everyone was very helpful with check in and anything we needed for our stay.
Having the pool was a great bonus. Letting us use the laundry in the evening was great.
Caye Caulker was our favorite Island.

We stayed at this great little cottage for a week in January while the US was experiencing record cold temps. It is located on the quiet side of the island - we loved reading on the dock and walking the path along ocean. The staff was excellent - Michael and Ceci were very helpful with all of our requests - Ceci even arranged an awesome mainland tour day for us including seeing the Mayan ruins, a visit to the zoo and cavetubing. The island's motto is "Go Slow" - pretty easy to get used to this way of life - a wonderful getaway!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The rental is exactly like the pictures. It is clean and well stocked. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the pool and the lanai because the “no-see-ums” were so bad. We enjoyed the dock and chairs at the end where the breeze kept the bugs away. We rented bikes and enjoyed touring the island by bike. Caye Caulker is a mellow, laided back place to stay. Snorkel trips are also very reasonable and the people are helpful and friendly. Food is reasonable so we only used the kitchen for coffee and drinks.

The unit is similar to the photos. It's very tropical, clean and well stocked. The bed is extremely comfortable and the staff goes above and beyond all expectations. They will help you with everything you could need and the property is kept immaculate. I recommend renting a golf cart at this location as getting into town is a bit of a hike. The property has bikes for rent. The only drawback- and it was pervasive- is the noise from upstairs. I could hear every step of the people in the unit above. There were two different families above me during my stay and I was awake at 5:30am listening to their kids run around. At one point the dishes in the cupboards shook because of the people above. I would stay at this property again, but not this unit.

Nothing was too much for the staff on site. Accomadations were very comfortable and well within reach of all the island had to offer.

Great stay, friendly staff, good facilities and very peaceful.

We really enjoyed staying here. Booking it was easy and the staff onsite was fantastic...very helpful and friendly. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We also liked that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the area near the Split. Be sure to rent bikes...they are super convenient for getting anywhere on the island!

We enjoyed the complex location, the pier and "Don" who always had a smile and was always willing to help. We had all the basics. However, it would have been nice to have a dishwasher, more comfortable furniture and better sound-proofing. Because of the location within the complex, there was no privacy. The office staff was always pleasant and helped with obtaining our bicycles, our taxi transfers and even a fishing pole! The WIFI hookup was nice. Although I would recommend the location, I would not recommend the unit.

This is a very nice property. It is about 200ft from the shoreline facing in toward a garden area in a community setting. At first you think this will be disruptive, but it was not. It was very quiet and private. It is located toward the airport, but we loved that. There is not as much traffic in that direction. You can rent a bike and that will give you access to anything on the island. The property itself was new and modern. Lots of space and very comfortable. It was also very clean. The pool, another surprise, was clean and the perfect temperature. The thing that impressed me the most was the security. They keep an eye on it and anybody that does not belong there stands out easily. To top it off, they have a night security guard and his assistant, Max the guard dog, that are on duty from sunset to sunrise. Max would escort us to our room at night and make sure we were safe. The guard, Emilio, would always check and make sure we were supposed to be there and he was the nicest guy. He was a former mariachi band member and he even sang us song on the dock one night when I was smoking a cigar. He has a great voice. It blew me away. I loved it. Hands down, this is the place. We will be coming back. There are multiple properties in the complex that can address multiple needs. You just need to pick the one that satisfies yours. Another highlight is Micheal, the property manager. He was very polite, accommodating and professional. They are very lucky to have him. Don't hesitate to stay here. It is a very nice operation.

Beautiful place to stay while enjoying Caye Caulker. Very well appointed, all the amenities, fantastic pool, and exceptional management company.

We love staying in the complex. This was our second time. We loved it until some of the owners and their friends came down our last weekend there. They took over the place. They partied and cooked out just outside our place and were very very loud, and took the pier over so no one could enjoy it.. The pier was my place to enjoy the view, get some sun and read my book but they were so loud you could not enjoy it. So you may want to check and make sure none of the Colorado owners are not going to be down before you book. The cabina we stayed in was very clean and very a very nice place. We loved it. I have to give the staff a thumbs up! They are fantastic.. Don was so kind and helpful with every thing we needed. He went over and above his job we felt like. The owners need to make sure he doesn't leave them. We fell in love with him.

A greatspot for our son as the rest of the family stayed in Barbara's House. He loved this place!

My wife, adult daughters and I had a wonderful stay at Palmetto Garden Cottage. First, this is a top-notch rental. The beds are good, the sheets are good, the towels are good, the shower and kitchen are good, the pool is good, the dock is good, and the location is good. The property is run professionally. There is not a single thing I would change, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
You can even walk from the little airport to the cottage, if you don't want a golf cart.

Our time in Caye Caulker was more than we could have imagined. Our cottage was homey and comfortable. Our host Michael & CeCe were amazing. The location of the cottage is so perfect... quiet, convenient.
Leah s.on 01/09/2016
The grounds were beautiful the place was very clean and the entire staff was lovely. I would't stay anywhere else in Caye Caulker
We loved the Palmetto Garden Cottage. It as a perfect size and had everything you need for a home away from home. (no washing machine though) If you like fishing bring a pole, catch your lunch and grill it by the palms in the yard.Hint: If it is windy, kayaking is a chore, so you might not want to try a trip around the whole island. lol Far enough away from town to be very quiet and peaceful, but a close 5-10 minute bike ride from restaurants and shops. 2 min from the closest grocery store. Perfect location in our opinion and we loved the dock and being on the water. The pool was relaxing and welcome after a day of exploring. I would say this is one of the best locations on the island, if you like peaceful nights. The manager, Michael and staff were very pleasant and helpful also.
Guerillemo did an excellent job with yard maintenance and provided great customer service. Other accommodations nearby included the bicycles, kayaks, and filtered drinking water replacement at no extra cost. The staff were efficient and repaired the leaky air conditioner and running toilet immediately. The bedroom and living room lighting could be brighter. The blinds could be sturdier and better quality. The shower water pressure was very weak and the water temperature took 5 minutes to warm up. I was allergic to the pillows, recommend hypo allergenic pillows.
We traveled as a family with 3 teenagers to Caye Caulker for the first time and Palmetto Garden Cottage was the ideal lodging for our three teens. We loved that it was removed from the main part of town but only a short, very beautiful walk away.
The managers, Michael and CC, are great! We had contacted them before our arrival and everything was perfect from the time we stepped on the island up until we had to leave. The cottage was perfect for 2 people. It was nice to have a kitchenette area to keep food and drink. We spent most of our time outside and the property's pool and dock area is one of the nicest on Caye Caulker. There are no sand "beaches" on the island, so having a nice dock area to ocean gaze is important. The location was a short bike ride away from the busier part of the island (bars/restaurants/shops), but we liked the quiet location. There is a cute little bar across the street, so that was an easy place to walk and one of our favorite places to sit and listen to live music in the evenings. We would stay here again if we return to Caye Caulker.
Our stay in Caye Caulker was very pleasant; although all literature provided pre-arrival indicated we'd reserved an ocean-front property, when we arrived and taken to our room we found out that wasn't the case. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet - but having come all the way from Alaska, a room with a view was part of the allure of this property.
Quiet place to stay. Everything in description was right except for the washing machine. Appartment is perfect for couples or a family of 4. Managing team is very professional and friendly. Recommand this place.

Vail is a skier's and snowboarder's paradise! Vail Ski Resort is one of the best spots to ski in Colorado, and the Beaver Creek Ski Resort is just a half hour away as well. And for those hardcore powder-lovers, the Colorado Ski Museum & Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame is located in Vail as well. Be sure you tackle Blue Sky Basin, too! But Vail isn't just all about skiing. Other great outdoor attractions include nature and wildlife tours, ziplining, fishing, horseback riding, balloon rides, sightseeing tours, boat tours, off-road tours, and more. A few specific outdoor spots you must see are the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Booth Falls Trail, Vail Recreation Path, Piney River Ranch, Shrine Mountain Trail, Missouri Lake Trail, and Camp Hale. If the indoors are more your style, there's plenty to do! The Gerald Ford Amphitheater offers amazing concerts and the Vail Brewing Company and the 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company are great spots to unwind with some booze! You can also go on beer, food, walking, and heritage/history tours. Finally, spas, golf courses, and Segway tours are plentiful in the area too.
