Lovely property with great views of the east Vail Valkey. Unit is spacious and nicely appointed...Appliances all worked and quite adequate for the unit. Wood burning fireplace added to unit's warmth. Location near bus stop was a big plus.. nearby Blu's restaraunt great place for casual meal. A few suggestions for the owner include: repair to fireplace door handles, additional towel hanging racks for master bath, increased insulation sealing above kitchen stove and cabinets.

I stayed here with a few of my girlfriends celebrating my 30th birthday. It was centrally located and very easy to get to Vail. The space was clean and welcoming and had all the amenities one would need on a trip to the Vail Valley. I would recommend this to anyone looking to spend some time in the mountains.
Gore Properties was professional HOWEVER right before we came to Vail our Unit was changed to this one. I was told verbally that this was a platinum property as well. Nope! This property is circa 1972 in decor and the living area. There are no pics online of living area. The kitchen and bathroom are updated but furnishings and TV 's are OLD. The fireplace has no insert so there is black soot marks from the edge of the fireplace almost to the ceiling. It rained some while we were there and when it did you could smell wet chimney when sitting in the living room. I called and someone came out and just said it is cleaned often and dismissed it. We were offered a replacement property a few miles away but it was a whole family of 12 in 3 units and it was not convenient. I had to fight to get 15.00 per night back after I fought and she said it was a gold property. I would rent at Timber Falls for the pool and location! The views are spectacular! Renter beware of this unit.
Vail is a skier's and snowboarder's paradise! Vail Ski Resort is one of the best spots to ski in Colorado, and the Beaver Creek Ski Resort is just a half hour away as well. And for those hardcore powder-lovers, the Colorado Ski Museum & Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame is located in Vail as well. Be sure you tackle Blue Sky Basin, too! But Vail isn't just all about skiing. Other great outdoor attractions include nature and wildlife tours, ziplining, fishing, horseback riding, balloon rides, sightseeing tours, boat tours, off-road tours, and more. A few specific outdoor spots you must see are the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Booth Falls Trail, Vail Recreation Path, Piney River Ranch, Shrine Mountain Trail, Missouri Lake Trail, and Camp Hale. If the indoors are more your style, there's plenty to do! The Gerald Ford Amphitheater offers amazing concerts and the Vail Brewing Company and the 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company are great spots to unwind with some booze! You can also go on beer, food, walking, and heritage/history tours. Finally, spas, golf courses, and Segway tours are plentiful in the area too.
