This is a nice unit overall. It could use a few updates (paint, repair of window cranks, more comfortable sofa bed and new mattress in bedroom). There is noticeable noise from I70 in the bedroom which takes some getting used to. Otherwise, it was nice having some of the basics-- laundry room, condiments, etc. Staff was very pleasant and great location for the East Vail bus stop (Pitkin Creek).

Everything was fantastic. The condo was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay and then some. Every one we spoke with from Gore Creek Properties was super nice and helpful. The condo was really close to the bus stop so traveling between towns and shops is a breeze. Overall it was a great and memorable experience!

One challenge with going to a place like Vail for the first time, it is so big it is very challenging picking a place to stay! We ended up in the Pitkin Creek Condos and we very pleased to find the free Vail Shuttle bus stopped right there, so getting to the main village for ski rentals, skiing, and dinner was very easy. The trip might have been 10 minutes right to the main village. Big plus! The condo we were in was well set-up and nicely decorated / comfortable. Our first night, we picked up some food from the market on site. We did have to use the oven to cook part of the meal but were challenged turning off the oven's heating element when finished. We ended up resorting to contacting the emerg telephone number and were guided to turn off the breaker, and the issue was cleared up the next morning while we were out skiing. We went to do laundry that next night and i found damp towels in the dryer that had been there a few days. I included those towels with our washing, and once everything had been through a normal dryer cycle, we found the clothes and towels still wet. We took out the towels and hung them to dry and tried just the clothes we needed the next day in a different cycle. Still wet. We ended up having to hang everything to dry. We did bring this to the attention of the property manager but got no response over the remainder of our stay. In sum, great location, comfortable stay, clean, but appliances might not work and onsite management might not be responsive.

lots of snow. Area kept clear. Easy access to East Vail bus. Small, clean condo with kitchen.Only complaint is the bathroom has a utility closet which seems to be connected to the outdoors. The tile floor is very cold as is the Bathroom.

Enjoyable stay in a comfortable condo. The only downsides were the lack of a range of pots for cooking. One had the handle broken off! Some of the pots/pans were not very clean on arrival. Crockery needs replacing and not enough knives. A number of the TV channels were not available including basic news channels!

Rented condo via 3rd party. Rented Pitkin Creek condo 5X. Worst rental ever. Hard to describe how bad. Wasn't clean, bed was in loft on 2nd floor. Ceiling in loft was not high enough to stand, no railing in loft at end of bed so you could fall, stairs to loft were more like a ladder (steep), heating system could not be adjusted, TV / cable had minimal channels... Bottom line, you should never rent this condo. I visited the local office and was assign condo 2B or 2C, can't remember. It was $50 more a night, but a significantly better. Everything in 2B or 2C was excellent. The remainder of this survey will be based on 2B or 2C, not 5X.

This condo was just perfect. There was no need to drive once we parked the car. The on site market and free bus made our stay super easy. The hot tub was nice and hot and the management company was extremely helpful and friendly.
GREAT LOCATION AND GREAT CONDO!!! Our only complaint is the bed. It is a queen size bed in a king size frame. The king frame is too big for the room and you have to climb over the excess frame every time you get in and out of bed. And the bed is way too hard. Other than this, the condo is great!
Excellent condo, would stay here again!
It is always great to stay in east vail run by Gore creek properties. The units are well equipped and comfortable to relax after a day of skiing. The market is very convenient, and the bus into vail village is great easy access every 15 min.
We loved the location, kitchen and living space of this unit. We were disappointed that the bench by the creek was not there..one of the two reasons we picked this rental. The other disappointment was the creek was not running..found out from a neighbor it was damned so repairs could be done.
We rented this condo for 7 nights and were very comfortable here. The place was very clean and cozy, andthe kitchen was well stocked for preparing our meals. The shuttle bus stop was right outside and very convenient and easy for getting to the ski areas or out in the evenings. The on site store was a bonus, we used it for all of our groceries, beer, wine and snacks.. Overall a great place to stay.
Nice spot for getting the bus into Vail or if you are driving east (Breckenridge, A Basin, Keystone) or west (Beaver Creek). Condo is indeed comfortable and fairly well-equipped. Bedroom could use a lamp with an outlet on it (like hotels) as the wall outlets spacing is sparse and inconvenient. For a real perk - as you get in the shower, pop your towel into the dryer that's right in the bathroom and you get a toasty treat when your ready to dry off!!!
Vail is a skier's and snowboarder's paradise! Vail Ski Resort is one of the best spots to ski in Colorado, and the Beaver Creek Ski Resort is just a half hour away as well. And for those hardcore powder-lovers, the Colorado Ski Museum & Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame is located in Vail as well. Be sure you tackle Blue Sky Basin, too! But Vail isn't just all about skiing. Other great outdoor attractions include nature and wildlife tours, ziplining, fishing, horseback riding, balloon rides, sightseeing tours, boat tours, off-road tours, and more. A few specific outdoor spots you must see are the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Booth Falls Trail, Vail Recreation Path, Piney River Ranch, Shrine Mountain Trail, Missouri Lake Trail, and Camp Hale. If the indoors are more your style, there's plenty to do! The Gerald Ford Amphitheater offers amazing concerts and the Vail Brewing Company and the 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company are great spots to unwind with some booze! You can also go on beer, food, walking, and heritage/history tours. Finally, spas, golf courses, and Segway tours are plentiful in the area too.
