This was our second year at Lands End and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay again. Nice condo, nice beach area, nice areas to walk and easy to get to local restaurants and shops.
Jerry B.on 05/09/2018
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lands End. We had one day w/o water due to a maintenance issue, but otherwise no major problems. This is an ideal vacation spot for beach, fun, and sun! We will definitely be back!
Jeffrey D.on 04/14/2018
The rental was a wonderful condo. The only issue we had was the balcony and window work that was being done while we were there and the boardwalk being closed due to the construction.
Bill H.on 02/03/2018
We have rented through Resort Rentals for five years. Always great to deal with. Always courteous and responsive to anything asked. Highly recommend!

The location is spectacular. Kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms were spacious and clean, but they didn't have nearly enough towels. The sheets were very cheap and slid off the mattress every night - this was a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. The blankets were pretty filthy and had a few stains on them so we used our own. The washing machine was pretty old and didn't wash laundry very well (i.e. even small stains remained on shirts, etc.). TV was challenging to use, and I'm a tech savvy millennial - it should come with a lengthier guide, the TV was set to be very very dim lit and there wasn't a way to turn the brightness up. If you spend most of your time on the beach like we did, it's a great place to stay, but bring your own sheets.

Been coming here for 10 years but first time experienced cockroaches in the unit but all in all great place to stay

We have been coming to the St Pete Beach & Treasure Island area for many years. This was our first year to stay at Lands End and we found it to be the nicest resort that we have stayed in. The property was beautiful, very quiet and well maintained. The condo was just as pictured on the web site. We especially enjoyed the balcony. We are already planning our trip for next year.

If you have chance to stay at lands end I would recommend this unit. We have stay at this resort at least 5 times and the accommodations are perfect. Great view of the beach, full size kitchen with laundry facilities inside the unit. Very quiet. You can walk the boardwalk surrounding the property, play shuffle board, table tennis, large pool and a secluded hot tub.

It was a family vacation taken with my wife 2 step sons and one of their girlfriends. The experience was great we had a fantastic time and are looking forward to next year!

Lands End is wonderful and we've stayed here many years. It's quiet and very well maintained, and has a beautiful pool. We've stayed in a number of apartments, and more specifically in apartment #305 for a few years now. Whilst there have been some updates (Bathroom and Kitchen which are lovely) the rest of the apartment really requires updating. The sofa is old and uncomfortable (as is the chair which appears to have no stuffing in it), we had to buy some new pillows, the carpet is stained and the dressing area needs updating (and fixing as the tap has had a leaking facet for years now). We removed the bedspread from the master bed when we found the disinfectent spray so we assumed it is not cleaned on a regular basis - the bedspread has been the same one on the bed for the past few years. Also we were disappointed that there weren't 2 beach chairs. Also the patio furniture seemed to be rotting. So all in all whilst we adore Lands End we will probably be looking to stay in a different apartment if #305 doesn't have some updates and proper maintenance. Oh, and the wi-fi is horrendous and you have to borrow it from another apartment!!
Brian M.on 10/31/2015
Stayed in building 7 -apartment 305
Good shower plenty of hot water
Fantastic view from the balcony
General impression of apartment is that it is rundown,
shabby, needs upgrading and updating, needs a deep clean
There was no bakeware we had to buy some
There was a very dirty and rusty kettle you could not use so we bought a cheap electric kettle and left it with resort rentals for any tea lovers to borrow.
Very poor wifi signal measured in Kb's we contacted Resort rentals as it stated the apartment had wifi they quickly arranged for an engineer to come out who fixed the problem, but a note of caution if you need wifi, the engineer told us that this apartment is on the cheapest internet package which is capped at 1 Mb that means no streaming of films, music etc believe me we tried, so if wifi is important choose another apartment
Staff very helpful and friendly especially Janet, booking process key collection drop off very easy any issues they dealt with very quickly (see wifi)
The resort itself Lands End is very nice peaceful and quiet I would not suggest it for groups as there is not a lot to do other than chill out.
It is right on the Gulf and we found it a wonderful place to stay.
I have stayed in this resort before in building 8 apartment 403 and that had been upgraded and was overall a much nicer apartment with a strong wifi signal.

Land's End is a very nice property. The grounds are nicely landscaped and well maintained. Our condo was located on the beach front and had wonderful views. The new kitchen in the condo was beautiful and well equipped - however coffee maker didn't look too good so we bought a new 6 cup one and left it there for future guests. Also, the carpet in both the master bedroom and guest bedroom needs to be replaced, very worn/and torn. Master bedroom comforter not clean either, but we just took it off the bed and stored it in the closet. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable but could use better fitting sheets. We will most likely stay here again, we had a wonderful, restful and relaxing week. The staff at both Resort Rentals and Land's End were very nice to work with.

I love the beach. However, the condo left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, our bedding had not been laundered. Nasty stains on all of the sheets. Laundered them ourselves. The internet access was extremely unacceptable. Very slow. The coffee maker was dirty. All in all, would not stay at this particular condo again. And as for the upkeep of Lands End, too many Palmetto bugs on the premises. Ants everywhere. Disappointing. Have used Resort Rentals many times before, but not sure if I will do so again next year.
Dawn B.on 06/20/2015
we love st pete's beach and we love Land's end. Resort Rentals is the easiest way to book for that area. easy check in and out. condo is always ready. just a few minutes from the rays games. we always feel dafe there too.The only problem we had all week was the wifi. you should not expect to be able to have free range online. it is awful. one device at a time if you are lucky but that is not why you go to the beach so we dealt with it
James M.on 06/13/2015
Our vacation rental experience was very efficient and enjoyable. From our reservation procedure to checkout, the staff members of Resort Rentals were all knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. We had a couple of maintenance issues with our rental unit which were resolved with a quick phone call.
Zach M.on 06/06/2015
Treasure Island was a great spot for our very first family vacation. The condo was literally right off the beach so taking the kids to and from the beach was a breeze. The coolest part was watching dolphins right off the beach!!
Eugene R.on 04/20/2015
My husband and I stayed at Lands End for a week in April, 2015. The property was clean and well maintained. The location of this unit is terrific with a great view of the Gulf and the sunsets. Would definitely recommend this property to a friend and will probably return next year.

Over the top. Clean, quite and relaxing!
Bertha A.on 03/21/2015
We loved everything about the place except for the cable provided. Very ancient. The internet is extremely slow and very frustrating to use.
Lesley L.on 12/24/2014
The pool, beach and landscaping all combine to make Lands End a wonderful place to stay, and is the main reason we stay here. The apartment itself has recently undergone a new kitchen renovation which is a great addition. The bed is huge and quite comfortable. In terms of the rest of the apartment it still requires some updating, especially in the dressing area (where there was some mould around the sink) and second bathroom. The owners also need to replace the linens and pillows.

Wonderful new kitchen and patio furniture. Dolphins very active this time of year. Love

this was the second yr we have stayed at lands end and the only place we will stay in the area. it is so nice to have room so we can spead out. hotel rooms cost almost as much so why not have time to enjoy your visit. if you do like we do and purchase groceries to eat breakfast and lunch in the condo it comes out cheaper than a hotel. love lands end
Todd W.on 04/19/2014
we had a small issue with noise from a renovation next to our unit. Resort Rentals went above and beyond the call of duty. frankly, this take care of the client mentality seems to be more of the exception than the rule. Hats off to Resort Rentals.
Diane H.on 03/01/2014
the unit could use some upgrades like the kitchen and balcony furniture very poor .Master bedroom the bed was very noisy .
Bill H.on 02/08/2014
Love the complex, 2nd time at complex, first time at this unit. Very nice except for kichen hardware, notably the range is a smooth top and most of the pans, skillets had somewhat warped, rounded bottoms. No can opener. Only one serving bowl, no tablespoons. With the great view and location of the condo, we love staying in and cooking. Not impossible, but not best. Other than needing another dining chair on deck, all was great. Wonderful MBR mattress and 2nd BA nicely updated.
russell w.on 02/01/2014
the unit was lovely - a few things
- The kitchen cabinet door under the sink needs to be fastened or adjusted - it doesn't close
- if they are ever replacing the king bed they might consider a firmer mattress for those of us with bad backs
- the cleaning crew obviously do not use windex or bleach - all the glass is streaked as in wipe with wet cloth and the kitchen sink has never see bleach, it should.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
Maureen K.on 12/25/2013
I have stayed at Lands End a number of times and think the complex is absolutely wonderful (no negatives at all), however this was my first time in Apartment 305. The apartment requires a LOT of updating - the kitchen is really old and not particularly well equipped (pots were old and mismatched, the decor is old and dated, the en-suite bathroom really needs updating and is dark and dismal, the dressing room had a broken bracket as a towel holder, sink needed sealant replacing etc etc! Positives were the bed was comfy and there were 2 nice beach chairs.
The property was very dirty. The floors were dirty, they contained both food, sand and dirt. There was an empty condom wrapper under the bed. The tolilet paper roll was broken, there was a dirty rag on the counter in the kitchen and a dirty rag in the bathroom. There were not enough towels and wash cloths. I called and they came back to clean the floors and brought more towels. I had done some sweeping but they found LOTS of food an dirt under and behind the furniture. There was a dying roach in the bedroom and I had to call about ants. The owner had one beach chair and no umbrella. I vacation every year and this was the first time I had that issue. When checking out the staff said all they could do was apologize. Not sure that really does it but I guess if you have a large business a customer here or there is no big deal. The location is great and I have rented from Resort Rentals many times. Not sure if I will again though.

Outside property very clean & beautiful. Condo wasn't as clean as it could've been. Bed very comfortable, condo itself needs a little updating. Overall a great experience..
We love staying at Land's End! We enjoyed our stay and the property is so beautiful. The condo we stayed in was very nice! The only suggestion I have is to maybe check up on the housekeeping as our condo wasn't 100% clean. We will definitely return next year. Thanks for a great vacation!
Had a great time. I have been coming here for 10 years and will keep coming as long as I can.
Love the location. Been going for 24 years to this area. This condo is not a favorite. Many updates in kitchen.. not a lawn chair or pool noodle to be found. Usually available in the other condos. The master bath sink faucet was moldy. Washing machine smells moldy and had mold on the inside frame. Master comforter could afford a washing. The couch was very worn and old. We will certainly go back, not to this condo. Beautiful grounds..
If you are looking for a resort with lots of amenities, Lands End is the perfect spot. A beautiful setting. Only regret is we did not like our condo, #305 in Bld. 7. Master bath in terrible need of refurbishing, and carpets in both bedrooms need to be replaced. As far as the management company, Resort Rentals gets an A+ rating. They were very attentive to all of our needs, like replacing broken coffee maker, replacing light bulbs, repairing sliding glass door, and other minor issues. Internet service was so slow in this unit that we finally subscribed to brighthouse service on a vacation plan which worked out well for our family. Kitchen and main bathroom was refurbished which was the only plus for us. All in All a great time at the resort, but a lot of time spent on the phone with issues in the condo.
The premium units were sold out for our dates, and they probably would have been a lot nicer.
New Kitchen & guest bathroom. Saw dolphins swimming by everyday. Found lots of seashells, a couple sand dollars and even sharks teeth. Loved being on the end of the island. Very quiet.
Very pleased with rental.
Overall, unit we stayed in was very nice and the view & location are spectacular! The second bathroom had been renovated and had a great walk-in shower. Deck furniture needed to be cleaned and some of the vertical blind slats were broken. The property is beautiful with great outdoor swimming pool. We would definitely come back here.
We had a wonderful time...
Things I would change or look into:
The elevator was a little scary i.e...door didn't open all the way, the elevator jumped upon stopping at our floor.
The Wifi is terrible and needs to be upgraded. I came there to work while the children played and could not because the Wifi took forever to load a page.
Land's End is an excellent resort. Our rental condo was clean, well furnished, and well equipped. The only things that could be improved would be stocking it with some proper beach towels and increasing the internet speed, which is virtually dial-up. It's very impractical to use the internet in the condo to do almost anything besides sending email.
