A group of about 40 family and friends got together for a week at the beach! We had a blast. The condos are nice and convenient.
Terry W.on 07/08/2017
Great location with great amenities. Beach, pool, tennis, walking and opportunities to fish close by. The condo was cute and clean. The downside was that the appliances are out dated and the air conditioner did not keep the master bedroom adequately cooled. Otherwise, this is a nice location.
Can't give it a 5 star but it's worthy of good marks.

We love Lands End! We have been visiting here for at least 13 years. Everyone is so friendly. Also, security guards are very pleasant. There are always different generations, grandparents, parents grand children which many of them you see year after year. Always have a parking space. Stairs & elevator convenient. Beach is right there. Unit is very comfortable.

This was our second time vacationing at Land's End and,as before, the complex was beautiful and provided all the amenities we desired. This was our first time using unit 405,building 4, and for the most part were extremely pleased with the unit. However, we were disappointed with the bed in the master bedroom as we found it not very comfortable and the condition of the stove as only two burners were working. Also, the music from the other side of the canal was sometimes a bit too loud and went on too long. Despite these negatives we had a very nice holiday and would return.

Very good experience

We loved our recent stay at Lands End condo 405 building 4. The condo was clean, comfortable, great decor, it's felt like home. They have everything ready for our stay. Location is the best, hearing ocean every day from the balcony was great. Beach area clean, pool was a hit with my kids, they loved it. Overall great stay, will definitely be back next summer.

I would definitely come back. Everything was great!

We had a great vacation. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. We used the futon as a sleeping area for our grandson and appreciated the curtains for privacy.

We have been staying at Lands End for at least 12 years. It is quiet & the grounds are well kept. The pool is huge! And the gulf is steps away. You can walk on the boardwalk, down the street or on the beach. It's a great neighborhood. We see same faces year after year. The unit this year was very homey & very well stocked with kitchen items. There is no problem with parking spaces.

We could not have picked a better place to spend our vacation. We are already planning on returning next year. We stayed on the Bay Front. Enjoyed the morning sun, watching the dolphins play, and hearing the sounds of water.
Doug B.on 01/15/2016
Our six week vacation was enjoyable. We return yearly to meet up with friends we have made year after year. The beach is wonderful for sea shelling and the boardwalk provides good fishing experiences. Excellent restaurants are always nearby.

It was a very nice stay: A comfortable Flat with a view at the habor. You see pelicans, Herons, Dolphins and fishes. Will will come again.

Vacation was wonderful. Only problems were the coffee pot was not cleaned mold & water left in machine. I called & housekeeping brought a new coffee pot to us. Also the sheets on twin bed was to small for the bed did not have deep pockets & sheets kept coming off the mattress. Other than that everything else was fine.

The place was very clean and a great place for the 4 of us that we're on vacation. The only thing was it was very secluded at the end of a chuck of land. Long walks to get anywhere as we didn't rent a car as we knew no one would be sober to drive home. Once we found out about free beach ride was much better!

Growing up in a family of 7, we annually rented a vacation beach spot usually somewhere near the St. Pete/gulf coast area. Now grown with families of our own, we wanted to rent a place that could accommodate all our families. The Land's End was the perfect spot! There are so many positive attributes to mention...from the overall resort layout, amenities, accommodations, views, security, and privacy. Besides the rain (lol), it was a nearly perfect vacation! We will definitely consider this location again.

We had a great time in a nice condo. Condo was the right size. Bed was comfortable. Great view. Swam with a manatee. Saw dolphins. Great experience.

This is our 3rd time in this unit. We love coming to St. Petersburg. We look forward to it all year.
Michael C.on 07/26/2014
We had a great time here. Saw a dolphin swim up the bay. Saw a sea turtle swim down the bay. Being on the bay was great, as the water was just feet from us. The beach was great and not crowded like what we saw in Clearwater. Hope to come back.
Chris B.on 07/03/2014
We have been staying at Land's End on and off over 16 years, so we obviously enjoy staying there. We keep coming back! A fantastic place to have a relaxing vacation.

the condo is in a good condition, it's right on the beach, we are very happy with it
Mark M.on 04/12/2014
While the unit is a beautiful unit, all water fixtures were loose; glass sliding door did not open smoothly; many scuffs and peeling paint throughout unit; house phone did not work for first 2 days; air conditioner required repair. We needed to wait almost 24 hours before our air conditioner was repaired. No financial compensation was given despite no phone for two days and one day in the Florida heat without air conditioning.
Alois M.on 04/05/2014
This is a very nice unit, very clean, nicely equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and sofa.
Just a few points: there was no instruction book for the coffee maker; the lighting in the unit is poor, very difficult to read in the living room; the pull chain for the fan in the small bedroom was broken.
Barbara M.on 03/01/2014
Had a great time. Clean, safe, great location
Doug B.on 01/18/2014
Great location. Beautiful area as a whole. Greater attention to unit cleanliness and updates would be nice.
Except for the weather, everything was great! The location was excellent, the property well maintained and the amenities much better than any hotel alternative. Highly recommended!

Our recent stay at Lands End was very restful. Our condo was very clean and updated and had everything we needed. We were able to eat meals, play games, and watch the big game Sunday night comfortably. The beach was big and not crowded at all. The only complaint which seems to be the same for ever review of the property I've ever read is the pool situation. The property management are rabid when it comes to the pool rules. No balls in the pool, no drinks near the water of the pool, no floaties in the pool. There are a lot of pool rules so it is not very friendly for kids in the pool area. The guard made sure to tell me right up front to read those rules and complained about people not following them. Otherwise, the property was very nice, well maintained, quiet and a great stay!

This is a second year in a row in this unit and we were very pleased with the upgrades made. Truly enjoyed our vacation and can't wait to return!
Unit #405, Building 4, at Lands End is a comfortable, clean, well-stocked condo with a beautiful view of the inter-coastal waterway. The condo is decorated in Tommy Bahama motif. The guest bathroom has been remodeled. The Master Bath could use an update, but it was fine for our stay. The kitchen stove was older but functioned ok. There were plenty of pots and frying pans in a variety of sizes for those times that we cooked in. The beds were super comfortable. There is a closet filled with beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and loads of sand toys, plus more cabinets with games, books and movies. We were told to bring beach towels, but found three in the closet.
The only negative for this unit is the almost nightly music directly across the waterway from two popular restaurants. Some nights were louder than others but they are required to stop the live music at 10pm. For those who like the idea of free concerts, this wouldn't be a problem, but we prefer a quieter environment and our own choice of music.
We loved the Lands End complex! Having the Gulf on one side and the waterway on the other was ideal. Loved the walkway around the complex. The saltwater pool was wonderful. We shuffled from the beach to the pool on most days and went down to view the gorgeous sunset almost every night! The weather was fantastic! As first time snowbirds, we were spoiled with 25 days of 80* temps, while our friends up north were shoveling snow!
Thanks for letting us stay at your resort however, you should stipulate that this resort IS NOT A KID FRIENDLY at all and basically every rules existing in this complex is to prevent family with children to stay. i have been insulted and cursed at the pool by a racist old grumpy lady because my 4 boys were playing with balls. Even though i have spoken on the phone before booking the place with someone insuring me that my 4 boys will be ok with balls , they never sent me the " pool rules"!!! so basically no buckets , no balls, no toys , even plastic bags ( was the last resource as a toy) was forbidden. The pool nazis would come and check every single details and like they were so unhappy at a laugh of a child!!!!
also for the beautiful tennis courts, you would need"tennis shoes".... really?? so my boys played barefoot because we had regular running shoes!!!! yes , the resort was beautiful, clean and spotless, perfect for old grumpy people with no life , and no hearts....
I will not recommend this poisonnous paradise to none of my marvelous friends full of life and happiness!!!!
Very relaxing week at the beach!!
Checked in on Thursday afternoon before a holiday weekend and rented here for 9 nights. the rental agent was as nice as can be and even allowed us an early checkin. The condo was well stocked with dishesm pots pans and glassware. even had a crockpot, a toaster, coffemaker and an electric kettle! We didnt do much cooking there, but it was nice to know we could have if we wanted to. There were games and puzzles, we didnt use them, but again thought it was a nice touch. The smaller bedroom had several beach chairs and unbrella noodles for the pool. The beach was a short walk and very secluded. We saw just a ahndful of people at the pool and the beach though it was a holiday weekend.
Furnishings were nice, floors were nice and clean on our arrival. Pillows and sheets were decent, not luxury, but acceptable quality. If you are particular about your pillow bring your own like I did. Would have been 5 stars except for a few minor things-
The place needs blackout cutains in the master bedroom. even with the curtains drawn, the morning sun shone right through these beige panels, and prevented us from sleeping past 7am every day. Much of the glassware, dishes and flatware needed to be handwashed before they were acceptable for use. Looked like a lot of the dishes were just rinshed off with water rather than washed with dishsoap.
Finally, the place looked as if it was not rented for awhile before our visit, and though there was a small amount of dust on the nightstands and furniture, the baseboards and lamps in the bedroom were thick with dust. Otherwise this place was perfect and these are very easy things to remedy.
Thanks to resort rentals and to the properly owner for making our vacation one to remember.
