My husband and our two dogs had a wonderful stay in Tahoma. The cabin was perfect size and it was wonderful to have a fenced in backyard for the dogs to run. They had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We BBQ'd on their grill in the backyard. We brought our hammock and there was a perfect tree in the back that actually already had the hooks in the tree, so it went up super easy. Very quiet neighborhood. There was a fire pit but we ran out of time to use it. The only thing that I would say that people should know is the bathroom entrance is small. The washer and dryer is very close to the sink and doesn't leave much room to get into the bathroom if you are a larger person. There is a pull out couch in the living room and a queen bed (very) comfortable. The Kitchen has everything that you would need. Only thing I could not find is a pair of tongs for the BBQ. Plan on not making to many phone calls. There isn't much reception other than the middle of the back yard, which was actually a really good thing. After a few days it was pleasant not to have any incoming calls and really started to decompress from real life. We stopped at a deli a few minutes from the cabin and had lunch. Sandwiches were great and outdoor sitting was dog friendly. There is a cute little pizza place called West Shore Pizza about 5 minutes away we got a pizza to go after a long day at Meeks Bay. Meeks Bay is the most beautiful place around. Lovely beach and lots of convenience with the little restaurant and market right there. We brought a two-man raft with oars which was nice to float out further in the lake. They actually have a air pump to pump up the raft there. I plan on going back to Tahoma in September and will absolutely stay here again.
FYI - toliet seat needs to be tightened and the shower door was a little hard to open.

Nice place. Lots of upgrades and renewing of the property. Still needs some attention to small things ateound the place. Looks as though it was fixed up specifically to be full time rental. Very small and cozy. Great to be able to have our dogs and with a fenced yard made it easier to let them roam on their own a bit. Very noisy neighborhood during the day with construction everywhere and sometimes at night with a few dogs that bark most of the night. Also for the total price we spent nearly 50% on fees between homeaway and the agency, making it overpriced for the actually rental itself. Although it was cheaper than many I have rented in the area over the years but it was small and buried deep in the middle of a neighborhood.

The place was wonderful, the only thing I notice was a few of the towels were dirty, with a some sort of dried yellow crust.

Our experience with First Accommodations was fantastic. Trent was quick to communicate with, gave clear instructions, and provided a great rental!! The "Tucked Inn" rental was clean, well stocked, and provided a wonderful backyard to enjoy our evenings in. I would absolutely recommend this property, and First Accommodations to anyone looking to stay in the Tahoe Basin. You can't go wrong when using such a professional and reputable company.

This house seems newly renovated and has a really nice kitchen for the size of the place but lacked a couple of small things that would have made it almost like a chef's kitchen. There were no coffee mugs in the house, just tiny tea cups. Somewhat limited utensils for cooking as well. Otherwise the house is well equipped with plenty of blankets, soap, laundry detergent, etc. The neighborhood is great, safe place to walk dogs, and very close to both the lake and ski resorts.

Perfect little place for couples or small families. Pet friendly too! Bed and couch were a bit hard but luckily there is so much to do nearby. Loved it!
We really enjoyed our stay at this little cabin, which was clean and comfortable. Our dog loved the yard despite the snow. We appreciated that the driveway was shoveled upon arrival. The kitchen has all the basics, but could be even better stocked with cooking oil, some ground coffee, etc. We will stay again!
A perfect spot for a family of 3 with nearly every amenity imaginable. An outdoor enclosed fire pit would have made it even better.
Overall quality is tip top. Great walkable neighborhood and perfect area for wedding guests to rent houses near the state park. Close to off roading and hiking trails and walking distance to coffee bar and pizza place.
This house is the perfect size for a couple. It’s very well stocked with all the essentials. The bed is comfortable, nice kitchen, SUPER CLEAN and is in a great location. We will be back
Great place to stay for a small family or a couple. Fenced back yard is great for pets. Location is very convenient, very close (10-15 minutes) from Tahoe City, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood
Tahoma is nestled amonth Tahoe's west shore. Visitors here can enjoy lovely hiking trails, picturesque beaches, water sports, and more. Homewood Mountain is also close by for those poweder lovers! The Tahoe Maritime Museum will give you a great overview of the nautical history of Tahoe, and the Chambers Landing Bar and Restaurant is a super fun bar located right on the lake. Another popular spot in the area is Meeks Bay Beach, which offers camping, swimming, a great beach, and gear rentals for getting out on that water (jet skis, kayaks, canoes, etc). You can also get a helicopter ride in the area and if you're a hiker or mountin biker, Meeks Bay Beach area is a perfect spot to stop off at! This area is also a good mid-distance between South Lake Tahoe and North Tahoe.
