The Tahoma cabin was a nice place to stay. The interior was clean, the kitchen well equipped, the bathroom was a good size, beds were comfortable.. My only complaint would be the outdoor area surrounding the cabin was very over grown with weeds etc.. there was no yard or clearance around the cabin. Poorly maintained yard.

Great home base for a weekend full of adventure and fun.

A delightful, snug cabin in the woods. ideal for our stay whilst at a family wedding at Tahoe. Well placed for all the amenitioes nearby, and always a joy to go home to. Would highly recommend it.

The cabin was very clean upon arrival. Very warm and welcoming !! Had all the essentials that you might need so no need to pack too heavy. It is located in quite street next to some friendly folks. Free at stay would rent it again.

The house was everything that was described. The house is cozy and the location is very nice. It is close to restaurants, cafes, and market. The neighborhood is also very friendly.
I had to call the property managers once, but had to leave a message. No big deal - but if it would have been urgent - that would have been a different story.

We loved this little cabin. It was perfect for the 4 of us and our 2 pups, and at a great location. It was very clean and super cozy. I would absolutely stay here again!

First of all, thank you for allowing our family to rent your place. the good thing about the rental were as follows. The location was great because of how quiet it was. the neighborhood was friendly with an occasional fast driver.the heater in the cabin was amazing and quiet. the fireplace was fun.
As for the bad, here it goes. The bed I tried to sleep in was too soft and i had to sleep on the couch for 6 days out of the 8. the wifi did not work very well if at all. the pans in the kitchen were hard to cook with and imopossible to clean. The exhaust fan for the kitchen is not properly exhausted, it should at least vent into the attic. the fan is also hazardous for it does not have a cover over the spinning fan. There was a broken drawer in the vanity and the towel holder was not designed very well. I would replace the towel holders with something stronger. That pretty much sums it up. Tahoe is an amazing place. Thank you, Joe Lapinski. Hopefully my words were helpful.

For a summer time get away Tahoma is a great location and this rental is very close to Sugar Pine Point State Park so it's a nice walk to the lake. The place itself was clean and spacious, especially for just two but I'd also say the same if there were four people. The one thing I didn't care much for was that the place doesn't really have that great of an outdoor ambience. There is a little deck out back and the lot behind the cabin is vacant so there is a nice wooded area and it's fairly serene but it is a little area to sit in. Some outdoor yard work is needed to as the weeds are taking over, but there are a lot of nice ferns out there too. For the money though, it is quite acceptable all the way around.

Great location to go hiking, trails abound. We were out all the time with our dog. This was good because the home is otherwise very dark inside and you need the lights on at all time.

This was a great stay, very clean rental and fireplace kept us warm

Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

This cabin is within easy walking distance to a store, pizza parlor, and post office as well as Highway 50. The neighborhood is flat so lots of evening walks were done with our dogs. The neighbors were very friendly and made us feel welcome.
We might rent this property again next year as our vacation was fantastic.
P.S. The PDQ market on Highway 50 has the best homemade pies every day so bring your sweet tooth and some whipped cream.

Cute, little cottage snuggled in the sugar pine forest. Very clean overall and a well appointed kitchen. Very close to Sugar Pine Point State Park as well as many services and restaurants. We would reserve this vacation rental again.

Perfect for splitting the drive to Northstar & Heavenly resorts.
Quick and enjoyable
A great place to stay....house is very comfortable, quiet, everything we expected.
Had a lovely week long stay at this cozy cabin. Kitchen was well equipped, although a Keurig coffeemaker is always welcome. We brought our own ;). Beds were comfy. Living room was well furnished although we found the couch and chair a bit uncomfortable. Cute little deck in back and we even sat on the little porch and enjoyed chatting with the neighbors. Great little place to stay. We had 3 adults. 4 would have been fine as well. Super clean and tidy! Thanks!
The location was perfect and handy to all activities. Very clean
We never met the contact person but the directions and info provided were very helpful. The home is small and located in a quiet neighborhood in Tahoma. It was just fine for our group of 3, and is dog-friendly if you bring Fido with you. Very clean; baseboard heating, lots of hot water and a wood-burning stove. Wifi, tv, no DVD player. W/D off kitchen but washer is touchy. No D/W but full size kitchen otherwise with kitchen tools, pots and pans, glassware, drip coffeemaker, toaster and microwave. Coulda used an electric kettle. Nicely homey with quilts and artwork, and non-white walls. No blow dryer and bring your own toiletries. Good value for the price!
The cabin was nice and the neighborhood quite. The kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the cleaning fee. I think it is a bit high, considering you have to leave the cabin the way you found it - clean. The only thing you don't have to do is wash the sheets and towels.
My wife, dog, and I stayed here for 4 nights. Everything was clean and ready for us. The location was lovely, and the neighbors that we met were very friendly.
Great location. Prompt reply from Trent and clear instructions. Place is clean. Kitchen supplies are aplenty. Close to a grocery & pizza place.
This house was just perfect for a small family. It was very clean and well-supplied. The backyard area was really overgrown though. We wished it had been more useable and accessible to our son and our dog. First accommodations was great with communication.
Nice charming house that was well kept and comfortable. Great kitchen, however, no dishwasher was a BIG inconvenience as well as not many cooking utensils and big pans. All in all it was a restful retreat, but I did not want to wash dishes!
We were very happy with this place, no complaints at all. It's spotless, up to date, comfortable, great location and the management was fast to respond to any questions we had without interfering with our privacy. I would recomend it to anyone with a group of 4 or less.
I would have liked to know in the description that the backyard is very small and the neighbors, although we didn't see anybody, are close on both sides.
This place was fine for the first few days. But then the power went out which is a problem when it's 16 degrees outside and EVERYTHING in the house is electric (heat, stove, even the landline).
Tahoma is nestled amonth Tahoe's west shore. Visitors here can enjoy lovely hiking trails, picturesque beaches, water sports, and more. Homewood Mountain is also close by for those poweder lovers! The Tahoe Maritime Museum will give you a great overview of the nautical history of Tahoe, and the Chambers Landing Bar and Restaurant is a super fun bar located right on the lake. Another popular spot in the area is Meeks Bay Beach, which offers camping, swimming, a great beach, and gear rentals for getting out on that water (jet skis, kayaks, canoes, etc). You can also get a helicopter ride in the area and if you're a hiker or mountin biker, Meeks Bay Beach area is a perfect spot to stop off at! This area is also a good mid-distance between South Lake Tahoe and North Tahoe.
