We enjoyed our stay here very much!

The house was perfect for our family of 4 and my father. It had a fenced in dog area which was great for our dog! The beds were super comfy! My kids also got the special experience of watching baby birds being taken care of by their mom in a nest just outside the house. It was a great quiet location and a perfect vacation!

We had a relaxing winter stay in this cozy cabin.
Denise B.on 09/06/2017
The house was very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and furniture. We appreciated the netflix & amazon TV when the rain came down in buckets. The only issue we had is there is no instruction sheet as we usually find in the rentals with how to leave the house and minimal instruction in the rental agreement (i.e. what to do with the bedding at the end of our stay or how to use the fireplace). But all in all a really nice stay in a comfortable home.

We lived this little house! Well stocked kitchen, lovely de k with a nice BBQ, very comfy beds, super neighborhood. We walked to the lake, the state park, and just strolled in the evening.

We had a wonderful stay on vacation. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The dog and I enjoyed morning and evening walks around the neighborhood. We would most definitely stay here again.

Comfy and clean vacation home. Had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend.
Tim B.on 03/18/2017
Very nice. Thank you. Though TV was the least of our entertainment itinerary, would have been nice to have instructions for the 3 remotes; TV, receiver cable box(?).

This house is very clean and well equipped. Super comfortable to stay with family includes our dog.
Jeanette K.on 12/26/2016
A great vacation home surrounded by trees and a short walk to Sugar Pine SP. Plenty of space for our family of 4, including inside laundry. A well-appointed kitchen made it easy to cook at home - even the knives were sharp. Tahoma Market saves you the drive into town and has an excellent deli counter.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It is so cozy and has everything you need. The beds are comfy and they provide plenty of towels. There is a deck in the front and back so you can follow the sun. Neighborhood is quiet and easy access to the bike path to the beach or all the way to Squaw. We hope to be back next summer.

Excellent stay. Nice place, well appointed and great location. Neighbors were friendly as well. Only complaint (and it's not a huge deal); the tiny, low toilets.
Ali M.on 02/29/2016
My wife and two young boys stayed here for 6 nights this past week and we really enjoyed the house. Its pretty central to many different parts of Lake Tahoe. I would recommend this house to anyone.

I had the perfect Tahoe vacation planned, a week in a nice cabin during an El Nino year with plenty of snow. A death in the family 2 days before the vacation meant I had to cancel. I notified First Accommodations right away and they were able to rebook the property for most of my planned stay, so I got a refund for the majority of the cost. I can't say what the property looks like since I never got there, but the next time I plan a Tahoe trip I will definitely book through First Accommodations. Oh, and do yourself a favor, get their trip insurance. I figured I wouldn't need it. I was wrong.

We were in the area for a wedding. Tahoma Woods was a perfect location for us. the accommodations were very comfortable- the beds are very comfortable! The bath towels could use some upgrading to thicker ones. The home was nicely equipped. Generally, I think the cleaning fees are high for a 2 night stay- I can understand if it were a longer stay. But cleaning fees are high anywhere.

My family and I had a terrific time at this location. The cabin was well equipped. I even brought my own knives because I didn't want to end up in the ER with dull ones. Not needed! When the blender leaked, First Accommdations replaced it ASAP.
The cabin is conveniently located in the Tahoma area. It was an easy drive to the South Shore, Truckee and even a day trip to Echo Lake off Hiway 50. The neighborhood is humble with some new construction and some funky cabins. There are no views of the Lake but you can easily walk to the beach for one.
The price point was very reasonable. I may very well return again.

Extremely comfortable place with everything you need on hand for a relaxing stay. Did not have to go out for anything. This place even had netflix. We did are own meals and from the gas grill to the well sharpened cutlery we lacked nothing. Could even walk a few blocks for gelato after dinner.
Scott L.on 07/04/2015
Property was just as advertised. I was appreciative of the kitchen having all the basic equipment available to prepare meals, and the knives were sharp. Overall, the property was clean, well maintained and comfortable. We spent our time hiking and walking. Would happily stay again.

This house was perfect. It was cozy and so comfortable. All of us had the most wonderful time in it. We loved it and would love to rent it again. Thank you.

My title describes the situation: I wanted my Oregon-based mom to see Lake Tahoe, and the weather report indicated that earlier in her visit would be better. After much internet searching, I settled on this home. The price and size were both manageable. When I contacted First Accommodations, they made things ready and smooth. Plus, I was able to bring along the two "grand-dogs" who couldn't be farmed out at the last minute. The house was perfect for us. Extremely comfortable beds. Unusually well appointed kitchen. All the comforts of home in a quiet neighborhood. Our visit was short but memorable and comfortable!
Jill K.on 10/03/2014
Perfect set up for us (4 adults)and one well behaved dog. Comfy and cozy. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and hanging out together. Amenities are limited in the area so stop and shop on the way.
Pamela B.on 09/12/2014
Loved the location, cute home.
Pro's-nice size lot, comfortable furniture, fully stocked, great entertainment system, lovely deck.
Con's-noisy construction at home next door, bad smell in kitchen disposal, leak in master bathroom shower.
John and Jennifer M.on 08/02/2014
We have been coming to west shore for over 20 years! Usually we do not spend much time in the house we rent but this year with the unpredictable weather we had to and it was nice that this house was enjoyable to be in!
Bernadette D.on 06/26/2014
We love the Harvey Cabin. We have stayed there for about 10 years in a row! Maybe even 11. One year we missed was when they switched rental agencies and we had to find another place. The other place was bigger, with more amenities (hot tub, fusbal) more expensive, newer and fancier, but we missed the Harvey cabin.
It is clean and well maintained. It has everything you need. It is easy to live in. Beds are comfortable. We love the decks. We go to the beach a lot and love to walk down to Pizza, Tahoma Market and Water's Edge.
The cabin is well decorated, very welcoming and stocked with a lot of cooking tools. We love it is dog friendly and the fireplace. Only flaws are some human hail looking material in the guest bed where our parents stay. We didn't see the hair in the master room.
We had a lovely time in the Little Yellow House. The outside deck is just wonderful. The front deck is also very nice. A Stellar Jay had a nest in the front deck umbrella. We enjoyed watching her on her nest! The house was close to everything and very neat inside. Overall a very lovely place to stay. Thank you
It was great!
The house was immaculate and so cozy and comfortable. The back yard patio was the best, surrounded by pine trees and millions of stars and very private. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back again.
This cabin was perfect for our friends reunion! It fit the 6 of us perfectly, and the kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs. I usually pack my own knife, etc, when I rent vacation homes because the kitchen stuff is usually awful, but this kitchen was great! The bathrooms are updated and the beds are very comfortable. It was a perfect choice and very close to lots of things to do!
The only two downfalls were 1) there was snow melting that flooded the driveway in 2-3 inches of ice water so we could barely fit 2 cars in it, and 2) the dog run was full of snow and unusable. Minor things though, and expected given the season. I think it would be a better rental in the summer months. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would rent it again!
I have been coming to Tahoma for five years now, The first 4 years staying in another cabin. I was so happy to a found this property, this is truly so much more than a cabin it is a home. Everything was described perfectly and found everything exactly as it was described. When I had questions and I emailed the management company I was responded to quickly and courteously. I will be staying at this property for years to come!
We are three 50-something friends who travel together somewhere once a year. We enjoyed this home very much. The way it is laid out gives everyone space, but also charming areas to visit. The location was perfect for activities in both Tahoe City to the north and Emerald Bay activities to the south. The home was clean and comfortable.
Our family enjoyed being together at this very "homey" cabin. The rental company was great to work with, and the cabin was just as promised.
Clean. The facade is the least appealing aspect of the house. Comfortable inside and spacious deck in back. We will return.
Our extended family has been coming to the West Shore in July for nearly 50 years, each family with their own rental as the families grew. This was a smaller house which suited our small group of just 5 adults, but it was so nicely designed, we each had privacy. The house was comfortable, very nicely located, very clean and well maintained.
Very nice cabin. It was super clean and tidy. Great location and quiet neighborhood. Close to the local pizza parlor, Tahoma market, and Chambers beach. Would stay here again.
The house was very comfortable and very well equipped. We enjoyed its proximity to Sugar Pine State Park with its ski/hike/bike trails in both forested and lakeshore settings.
Tahoma is nestled amonth Tahoe's west shore. Visitors here can enjoy lovely hiking trails, picturesque beaches, water sports, and more. Homewood Mountain is also close by for those poweder lovers! The Tahoe Maritime Museum will give you a great overview of the nautical history of Tahoe, and the Chambers Landing Bar and Restaurant is a super fun bar located right on the lake. Another popular spot in the area is Meeks Bay Beach, which offers camping, swimming, a great beach, and gear rentals for getting out on that water (jet skis, kayaks, canoes, etc). You can also get a helicopter ride in the area and if you're a hiker or mountin biker, Meeks Bay Beach area is a perfect spot to stop off at! This area is also a good mid-distance between South Lake Tahoe and North Tahoe.
