Good family fun. Couldn’t figure out the fireplace situation. Good place for family and friends.

Me and the family really enjoyed our stay at the Rubicon cabin. Very clean, cozy and reasonably priced. The snow was beautiful and the driveway plowed for easy vehicle access. Everything working properly but be sure to bring some wood to burn. Stores are near by and plenty of snow parks. Would love to visit this property again!

The cabin was clean and well stocked with the basics. We really appreciated the sleeping options, as two rooms had two beds. The location was great.
The only suggestion I have is that the downstairs bedroom did not have proper window coverings. No blinds, and curtains that didn’t stretch across the length of the window. The room is at the front of the house so not having privacy was pretty inconvenient. Other than that, it was a great rental!

The house was very clean, had a few problems with carpenter ants coming into the house from the garage. Kitchen was nicely remodeled but lights were out over kitchen sink and in refrigerator. Beds were fairly comfortable but I would recommend bringing your own pillows from home if you can. Rental's were flat... Deck was great, kids loved the swing, and trees are awesome. Bathrooms need updating but were clean with no plumbing problems. Having garage access was a plus. We stored our bikes in there when not using them. Washer and dryer came in very handy. Close to the main highway and local grocery store. We had three children age 6, 4, and 2. Even though they were a nice touch, we had to put away some of the doodads used for decoration as they were breakable (plates) or heavy (large metal candlesticks). Street was fairly busy with traffic.

Needed a last minute getaway close to my sister's place and this one fit the bill. Clean and neat, this is classic Tahoe '70's, complete with pink bathtub!

this property was great. well stocked just like being at home, away from home. my family and i enjoyed our winter stay. the house was cozy, we didn't eat out at all i cooked everyday. there was snow right outside. short distance from homewood for skiing and a sledding area for kids and adults also a short distance away. on the downside i could not wait to get back to my own bed, the beds are extremely hard. there are no outside lights on the property making it impossible to do anything at night. i never seen the property manager the whole week. overall i give this property a 6.

Great house with everything we needed close to Homewood. Plenty of space for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean and well kept. The neighborhood was quiet and off the main street. The only problem we had was finding the location of the home. We drove in when it was dark. The house numbers go from 406 to 408 to 412 to 407 all on the same side of the street. So when you see 406 and 408 just keep driving. When we called the rental company to get help with directions they seemed very annoyed and after helping us with directions actually hung up on us. Other than that everything was great.

This cabin is a great value. While it may not be the most up to date, everything you need is there and is in great condition. For the money, this place cannot be beat. First accommodation was easy to work with and everything was as expected. A great place on the Weat Shore.

My family enjoyed the close proximity to Chambers Landing. The house was OK. It was comfortable. The deck out back with the bbq was a highlight of the house. Stove needs to be updated as we tried to cook on it, but burners were very inconsistent. Downstairs shower needs to be repaired: doors almost impossible to slide and rotting marlite around window was an eyesore.

The cabin is centrally located between Tahoe City and South Shore. We had a great time relaxing at the beach and enjoying the wilderness! The cabin was clean and felt comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. A very homey feeling to the house.
Our cabin was clean but out dated. Please spend some of my rent on light bulbs for the home. Kitchen was not fully equipped. Television is small and slow to respond. During our rainstorm the garage flooded. Foul smell in garage.
The property is clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable and I can immediately tell that the sheets and beddings are clean. The location is great. The only thing I would suggest is to update the light fixtures in the living room and bedrooms. Even if all the lamps are turned on, it is still too dark. Just FYI: during our stay, there were three big ( off- leash) dogs always visiting the backyard and deck. Check before opening the sliding door, especially if you have your pet with you.
The cabin was really relaxing no noise and such a beautiful backyard view
Loved the location but it was difficult to get a hold of the mamagement company and the house was poorly lit. We called 6-7 times to communicate with the management company and see if we could get new lighrbulbs but had no success. Beyond that the house served its purpose in having a place to sleep and eat so we enjoyed ourselves.
Our experience was positive overall. The cabin was easy to find, small but cozy, and a good base central to our stay in Tahoe. The property is dated and a few items are in need of maintenance. The cabin stay was of good value, the neighbors friendly and we enjoyed our stay.
The cabin was comfortable and cozy. They had everything we needed for our stay (even kitchen scissors) and everything was in working order. The mattresses were all firm. The only drawback for me was the inconvenience of the electric bear wire that has to be fastened and unfastened as you come and go through the outside doors.
We enjoyed staying in what we, and others, described as a real Old Tahoe cabin, even though there were a few drawbacks. It was very appealing with a woodsy look and great fireplace and deck, but the beds were not husband had to sleep on the living room sofa, since two of us in the bed made the mattress sink dramatically in the middle. It was ok for just one. There was noise from trucks, etc., but that usually ended overnight, but we all wore earplugs overnight. The house was clean and the property very comfortable. Lots of books and games were provided, but the kitchen could be better stocked with some cooking basics. There were no wine glasses. We all agreed that it was in a good location, other than the proximity to the street. The propert manager couldn't have been more helpful, though. We would recommend this rental property without hesitation, but with full knowledge of the drawbacks.
We have participated in an annual family reunion in Homewood for 45 years!
Tahoma is nestled amonth Tahoe's west shore. Visitors here can enjoy lovely hiking trails, picturesque beaches, water sports, and more. Homewood Mountain is also close by for those poweder lovers! The Tahoe Maritime Museum will give you a great overview of the nautical history of Tahoe, and the Chambers Landing Bar and Restaurant is a super fun bar located right on the lake. Another popular spot in the area is Meeks Bay Beach, which offers camping, swimming, a great beach, and gear rentals for getting out on that water (jet skis, kayaks, canoes, etc). You can also get a helicopter ride in the area and if you're a hiker or mountin biker, Meeks Bay Beach area is a perfect spot to stop off at! This area is also a good mid-distance between South Lake Tahoe and North Tahoe.
