If you want to be right beside the Atlantic Ocean and the untainted, white beaches of St. Augustine, choose Cottage by the Sea as your family’s vacation destination. Even your pets are welcome in this beautifully decorated, perfectly located property.
Cottage by the Sea is a four-bedroom / three-bathroom, air-conditioned oceanfront home that sleeps 12 when the two sofa sleepers are put to use. The three-level home has a split-level floor plan with three bedrooms in the main living area and an “in-law suite” on the first floor with its own bedroom and kitchenette. There’s also an in-house laundry room so you can keep your family in clean clothes throughout your stay.
The main living area is built on an open concept connecting the spacious living room with the dining area and kitchen. There’s a decorative fireplace and a flat-screen HDTV with a DVD player and VCR. There’s also free Internet in the home, which helps with setting up dinner reservations and sending vacation photos home to share with friends. Windows and a sliding glass door open onto the large deck that overlooks the beach and Atlantic Ocean. You’ll spend many a pleasant evening enjoying the ocean breezes and salt air out on this deck and it is one two decks and a patio area for you to enjoy in this incredible beachside home.
Everything about Cottage by the Sea is well planned and beautifully decorated. The dining room includes a large, handsome table with comfortable chairs. There’s also a nearby breakfast bar that connects to the kitchen. Family and friends will love pulling up a chair and enjoying a morning cup of coffee around this bar while you plan your day’s activities.
The kitchen is a large, modern prep space complete with all the appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils you need to prepare excellent meals and snacks for your family and friends. There are plenty of cabinets to store food, which you can pick up at the nearby grocery. But, be sure to plan to dine out several evenings while at St. Augustine Beach. Our area restaurants are exceptional.
When you’re ready for bed, head up the spiral staircase to the third-floor master bedroom with en suite bathroom. The master retreat also includes a large flat-screen TV for late night viewing, sitting area and access to its own deck where you’ll enjoy an incredible view of the Atlantic.
The master bathroom has a large walk-in shower and large vanity with plenty of space for all your toiletries. Getting ready in this bathroom each day will be a true pleasure.
The second bedroom on the third floor includes a queen-sized bed and a third bedroom on this level features two twin beds ideal for children. They’ll love staying in this large room with plenty of room to spread out their toys.
The bathroom serving the second and third bathrooms on the third floor is large with a good-sized shower and granite-topped vanity with excellent storage.
On the first floor of Cottage by the Sea is the in-law suite that’s connected to the main living area upstairs, but also has its own private kitchenette and a bedroom with a queen-sized bed. There’s also a sitting area with large couch on the first floor and access to a covered patio area through sliding glass doors.
Cottage by the Sea is truly a dream house for a family vacation or a gathering of friends. Plan early to book this incredible property that places you right on the beach where you’ll grab your towel and hit the surf!
Okay kids let me just say this beach house was the best stocked beach house out of all the houses/condos I have ever stayed in! It had ample towels, including a sweet basket by the patio door with beach towels in! Also the kitchen was freaking amazing. Not just amazing but freaking amazing! It had a griddle and a waffle maker, a blender, several coffee makers, and two full sets of dishes. I could really go on and on. Also the layout was super ideal for two (or more) families booking together to have their own space. Another great perk was that the beds (okay I only tried out the ones on the main floor) were super comfy! It was a beautiful, spacious, amazing place! Let's talk about Location..... Not only was Cottage By The Sea the best equipped, it was also superbly located. It is literally right on the beach and on 13th Lane which feels like your driving through someone's back yard at first but it means nobody is parking on this street and walking to the beach. You don't share with anyone. Also it is conveniently located near several places to eat (everything from sit down style to food hut) including the brand new Salt Life Restraunt. But if you want to try out all the nice kitchen stuff there is also a Publix (local) grocery store just down the road two miles. Shopping is not left out of the equation either as there are several little shops within walking distance and Auqua East surf shop is only a few miles away. Cottage By The Sea is amazing in every way and I had the best experience here. The beach, location, and amenities are worth every penny of your stay here. Happy adventures!St Augustine Beach
You’ll rarely find another 4-bedroom penthouse with such perfect beach views, let alone one so brand, sparkly new. Sand Dollar I 502 is an especially big unit on Crescent Beach with four full bedrooms and a sleeper sofa – so bring a group of up to 8 guests. With elevator access this 5th floor penthouse suits your entire family, both grandparents or babies in strollers, everybody!
An immense living room has a full wall of windows, with nothing between you and the beach. Three full couches and two armchairs offer everyone their ‘favorite spot’, yet a genius floor-plan separates the area into two spaces: you do your thing, they’ll do theirs – everyone’s happy.
Sitting pretty (and shiny) after a total remodel, the kitchen is a beautiful space in which to practice perfection. Revel in magazine-kitchen details: there’s a porcelain farmhouse sink, large pantry cupboard and new stainless steel appliances.
If not on the beach or at the pool, you’ll likely enjoy much of your time out on the ocean-front balcony. Access it from either the living room or your master bedroom (both of which have Blu-Ray).
Crescent Beach, Fla., is our new go-to beach and Vacation Rental Pros is our new agent, no question about it. We were exceedingly happy with the 5th-floor condo that the customer service rep put us in. A walk-in shower with my 94-year-old mother's room made it perfect for her. Two minor complaints: Morning-facing windows in living areas could have used glare-reducing window treatments so Mother could have looked in that director with less discomfort; and a couple of the bed were inordinately hard. Minor, very minor. We'd stay there again anyway.St Augustine 7.55 miles
A big wide, ocean - all yours to enjoy. A gorgeous unit overlooks Crescent Beach and draws the eye towards the Atlantic Ocean. Penthouse living has lots to recommend it, none more so than non-stop, all-yours ocean.
This suite, Barefoot Trace 414, is particularly elegant. Its neutral palette and soft, subdued tones allow your attention to naturally shift outside, towards the blue blues of ocean and sky. Subtle upholstery and tasteful furnishings reveal delightful accents, like a jaguar print rug under the coffee table. A long couch, big love-seat and corner armchair flank wide sliding doors and make a great spot for hanging out and entertaining.
A large ocean-front patio directly overlooks the private boardwalk beach access and Crescent Beach beyond. You’re close enough to not only spot dolphins but to wave to family members playing on the sand.
The spacious penthouse living space has a separate dining area between the couches and kitchen area. The dining table’s glass top melds wonderfully with the floor-length mirrors to create a sense of endless space. Seat six guests for an evening dinner party, then enjoy dessert outside.
A king bed with soaring headboard is decked in delicious tropicals - lime green and flecks of fuchsia. Huge windows match your patio view - seat up to read in bed and spot the ocean hovering above your book.
This fantastic unit sleeps up to four guests total, with either friends or family comfortably accommodated down the hall in the second bedroom. Two twin beds sport birds of paradise flowers across the duvets, suggesting the resort’s landscaped gardens outside. Two full bathrooms ensure everyone’s comfort.
It was my second Time in this Condo. Everything was perfect. The location, the Condo itself,it was well furnished, the kitchen was clean and big, everything was ok.I recommand it to everyone.St Augustine 4.56 miles
Watch the sun set over the ocean from your balcony or while soaking in the private pool? Would you rather surf off the beach or float in your private pool? Dine alfresco on the screened-in porch or check out one of the many fabulous restaurants just a few minutes away? Those are the sort of tough decisions you’ll get to make when you stay at our Ocean Delight beachfront house!
When you’re at Ocean Delight, pretty much all that separates you from sparkling Crescent Beach is the backyard. A private walkway takes you directly from the house over the unspoiled dunes to the uncrowded, family-friendly sands.
Then again, Ocean Delight itself is so, well, delightful, you might be tempted to spend entire days without leaving the property!
Let’s start with the pool, surrounded by a large patio with chairs for lounging, with the Atlantic Ocean just beyond. Wide shallow steps on one side of the pool make it easy for just about everyone to access. The pool area is adjacent to the screened-in porch, which has a grill for cooking up your catch of the day as well as a table and chairs so that you can tuck in while keeping an eye out for dolphins and whales beyond the surf.
All this, and we haven’t even shown you the inside of Ocean Delight yet, which we think is at least as spectacular as the outside. The living room is on the 1st floor, with a ceiling that extends right to the top of the 2nd. This accommodates 4 enormous windows that splash sunshine and brilliant skies into the house all day long. Another entire wall is a panel of long, beautiful windows looking out to the dunes, sand, and sea. It's truly a postcard-worthy view. But should you ever tire of looking out, the living room’s 50” HDTV with Blu-ray/DVD player will give you plenty to watch from the plush sectional sofa.
The first floor also contains our kitchen and dining areas, complete with breakfast island bar and plenty of seating. You'll love the conveniences of our well-appointed kitchen, from the refrigerator’s ice maker to the dishwasher. We keep the kitchen stocked with cookware and tableware, so all you need to bring is the food. The dining room can seat 8 people easily, and it even has a wet bar with an under-the-counter fridge.
One of the 4 bedrooms is on the first floor too, along with one of the full bathrooms. It’s tough to say which of the bedrooms is the “master,” as they each have a sumptuous king-size bed, an HDTV, and fabulous ocean views. The 1st-floor bedroom leads out onto the patio, while the 2nd-floor rooms give you easy access to the spacious balcony. Force yourself to wake up early at least once so that you can catch the sun rising over the ocean—you won’t regret it.
Fresh bedding and towels will be waiting for you, as will a private washer and dryer, so you can pack especially light! And there’s free wireless internet access throughout Ocean Delight, so that when you’re not surfing the waves you can be surfing the web.
As spectacular as Ocean Delight is, perhaps the best thing about staying here is the location. Not only is Crescent Beach mere steps away, but you’re also within minutes of the Matanzas River and the Intracoastal Waterway, renowned for great fishing, kayaking, and canoeing as well as for its adjacent biking and hiking trails. Marineland, historic St. Augustine, not to mention shopping and a bevy of restaurants are all a quick car ride away. You can even get to the Orlando theme parks and back in the same day.
At Ocean Delight you can have it all—privacy and convenience, casual living and everyday luxury—and do it all. So what are you waiting for? Book your stay today!

Our newly updated condo at Windjammer 316 is just a cut above the rest. Not only is it ocean front, it's also a corner unit, so you have splendid views in 3 directions. And it's got 3 bedrooms in an elevator building, with splendid sunrises and sunsets. Perfect!
If you're used to a "beach casual" style of decorating, you'll love the ornate furnishings in our living and dining area. Plush sofas (one of which converts to a bed for 2) dress up the cool tiled floors, while a large HDTV with DVD player waits in front of royal-red drapes. The room is flooded with sunshine from windows in 3 directions. You will also enjoy new patio furniture.
The formal dining table is just beyond the living area, with carved and padded chairs, handsome centerpieces, and a large sideboard. Whether you're cooking a homemade feast in the well-appointed kitchen or simply transferring the takeout from cartons onto plates, the meal will look special when served in this setting!
The dining area offers lovely views of the Intracoastal Waterway, located just to the west of the Windjammer complex. Our condo is located on a narrow strip of land between the Atlantic and the Intracoastal, so no matter whether you like rolling surf, quiet waters, or a bit of both, you can find them just yards away! Every bedroom here has a view . . . not to mention the oceanfront deck, with casual seating and dining space!
You don't have to be a foodie to appreciate the beautiful kitchen at Windjammer 316. Boasting a recessed ceiling, bright lighting, stainless-steel appliances, and wooden cabinetry, this tiled room is a pleasure to use. We've stocked it with all the time-saving appliances you need on a busy vacation, as well as the full complement of cookware, dishes, and utensils. From fresh-caught seafood to your own special recipes, this kitchen is ready for anything! Just pick up some groceries and you're all set!
The living and dining areas are friendly and open with a new HDTV & Blue Ray/DVD player, keeping the group together, with a separate space for the deck when it's time for more private chats or "alone time" with the ever-changing seascape. But when you're ready to retire for the evening, you want quiet and privacy. That's just what each of the 3 bedrooms offers at Windjammer 316.
The master suite is palatial, from the king-sized bed to the private deck access (with ocean views even from the bed!) to the HDTV & Blue Ray/DVD player. The master bath with new vanities offers a fabulous jetted Jacuzzi tub, just the thing after a day of sightseeing in St. Augustine or kayaking on the Intracoastal. There is a walk-in shower and his-and-her sinks in this room, with plenty of space for 2 to get ready in the morning.
The second bedroom has a gorgeous view of the Intracoastal with 2 twin beds and HDTV & Blue Ray player. It shares a full bathroom (shower only) with the third bedroom, which contains a queen-sized bed, desk, HDTV & Blue Ray Player, plenty of closet space and another glorious view of the Intracoastal. The sunsets are spectacular from both of these rooms! Peaceful and very comfortable, they assure everyone a good rest.
At Windjammer 316, all the linens and towel sets for every bed and bath are provided, and the washer and dryer are at your disposal throughout your stay. Our condo is well stocked with spare blankets and pillows, and even has free wireless Internet connectivity. All the comforts of home in a terrific new location!
The rental condo was wonderful and the view was beautiful. We had such a wonderful time. My two boys enjoyed the beach, tennis court and pool. I highly recommend this vacation rental to my friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation. JessicaSt Augustine 7.1 miles

Sea Place 11208 is designed for not only fun and togetherness in the living and dining area, but also the need for peace and quiet in the sleeping area. The first floor contains the living room, dining area, kitchen, and one half-bath, while the upstairs offers the master suite, guest room, and second full bathroom. A sleeper sofa in the living room offers bed space for two people, so six can sleep here very comfortably. The entire unit has newly refurbished décor, including all two and a half bathrooms, and with the updated high efficiency air conditioning, it is possible to keep it at a perfect temperature.
The patio areas are accessible by sliding glass doors, downstairs off the living room and upstairs in the master bedroom. With sweeping views of the dunes, beach, ocean, and sky, these spaces will be your go-to havens for spectacular sunrises, leisurely meals, lazy afternoons, and long warm evenings. There's casual seating here, so plan to dine al fresco, check your emails in the balmy sea breeze with the free Wi-Fi, play board games with a frosty beverage at your elbow, and dream away the day with soft sound of the surf in your ears. It's almost guaranteed to drain the stress away! Enter the living room from the patio and you'll experience an old-world Florida ambience. Select a favorite to read from the bookshelf or sprawl out with the whole gang and watch movies on the HDTV (complete with HBO, ShowTime and Starz) or DVD player. Crack open the sliding glass door and let the sounds and scents of the beach waft indoors as you share some valuable family-and-friends time!
Many guests prefer to use the patio over the dining room at mealtime, but the dining area is still a great place to play games, lay out maps of your next sightseeing adventure, or set up the laptop. For quick bites, there is a breakfast bar along the pass-through counter of the kitchen, as well as a sideboard next to the dining room table. The kitchen is part of the action at Sea Place 11208, and you'll enjoy telling your friends that you've literally got an ocean view from the kitchen sink! Well-stocked and easy to maneuver, it contains all major and minor appliances, cookware, utensils, and dishes you need to prepare and serve a feast. Or, if your taste runs more to restaurants and takeout, you may get more use out of the microwave and refrigerator! Either way, everything is spotless and in perfect working order, so make yourself at home.
The brightness of the first floor of Sea Place 11208 contrasts sharply with the repose of the second. Here it's all about relaxing and enjoying a great night's sleep that won't end with an alarm going off! The master suite is simply a treat with a king bed, with an en suite bathroom, an ultra-comfortable bed, a large TV and DVD player, plenty of closet space, and sliding-glass door access to a private balcony. Work on your tan while lying on the luxurious padded chaise lounge or snuggle up on the glider and listen to the waves crashing on the shore. You can sleep late and undisturbed even on sunny mornings by drawing the blackout curtains over the balcony doors. This is your retreat, where you can watch the sunrise over the beach or stargaze without getting out of bed!
The guest bedroom is great for a second couple or for children, with matching twin beds. The second full bathroom is located just outside this room -- it couldn't be more convenient. And at Sea Place 11208, all linens, blankets, pillows, and bath towels are provided. No need to pack a thing for the house – there are even a washer and dryer you're welcome to use. Fresh clean towels whenever you need them, dry swimsuits in a trice -- what hotel could offer this?
Everything was perfect for our annual sister's weekend. The Condo location was perfect, clean, nicely furnished, wonderful beach front and access to the beach. It was easy to get to the historic district of St. Augustine, and far enough from it to enjoy the beach without the crowds. Great Vacation!St Augustine 2.09 miles
Known as a "house dominium," Bluefish 16 is in Surf Crest Village, a small complex right on St. Augustine Beach. As a guest here, you have access to our clubhouse, sparkling swimming pool, and private walkway to the beach. Everything is intimate, uncrowded, and private -- the perfect place for a relaxing vacation!
Our 2-storey house contains 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, plus 2 living rooms -- one upstairs, one downstairs -- so your group has plenty of room to spread out. Best of all, we have a giant deck spanning the entire back of the house, with all the space you need to sunbathe, dine al fresco, and dream in the balmy sea breezes!
The master bedroom is enormous, with a king-size bed, HDTV, comfy couch, and huge windows for admitting sunshine and moonlight. With hardwood floors and walls the color of key lime pie (except the brilliant raspberry panel just behind the bed!), it's as cool and inviting as a morning swim. Once you see this lovely room, you'll plan on retiring early and sleeping late!
The second bedroom is also beautiful, with walls the color of margaritas and cool white fittings. There is a queen-size bed here, and plenty of space. Our third bedroom contains matching twins and citron walls, while the fourth boasts a single and trundle bed and sliding glass doors leading outside. Plenty of space for everyone here at Bluefish 16, all immaculately appointed and tastefully designed!
We have two full bathrooms at Bluefish 16, one with handsome tilework and wood cabinetry to complement its walk-in shower, the other with both a bathtub and shower option. All of your linens, pillows, blankets, and towel sets are provided here at Bluefish 16, so don't worry about packing a thing for the house. We've also got a washer and dryer, so you don't even need to overpack clothing. And it's so handy when all the swimsuits are wet but the kids want to go back to the beach just one more time before bed!
Our house is designed for comfortable privacy when it's time to get a good night's sleep, but it's also conducive to togetherness for entertaining and mealtimes. Both of our two large living rooms contains roomy couches and large LVD TVs with DVD players and VCRs. And because they're on different floors, one part of your group can be upstairs watching the big game while another is downstairs listening to music and reminiscing.
You will probably find yourself taking most of your meals outside on the deck -- it's just too beautiful not to! -- but in case you wind up inside, our dining area is perfect for a family feast. Our long, handsome table sits just beyond a huge, sunny window, and within easy reach of the kitchen counter, which doubles as a breakfast bar for informal dining. After the meal is over, toss everything into the dishwasher and then settle down to a round of Pictionary or Uno. Snacks and drinks are just a few steps away, the music's on in the DVD player, and life is good!
Our fully appointed kitchen is a chef's delight, and is spacious enough for several cooks to get into the action. With all the major and minor appliances, gadgets, utensils, and cookware you need to prepare and serve just about anything, it may tempt you to fry up the catch of the day instead of eating out! Granite countertops, custom wood cabinetry, and all the nice little extras that make cooking more of a pleasure than a chore are waiting for you here.
Come stay at Bluefish 16 for your next vacation. It brings you all the comforts of home in an oceanfront setting. Stroll along the beach at sunrise to witness the spectacular dawn colors, spend an afternoon at the pool, and visit historic St. Augustine or nearby Marineland! There's so much to do and see here, in the perfect year-round weather.

This condo is the ultimate family vacation spot! One of only a few units in Windjammer with 2 balconies, every bedroom opens to a balcony, 1 overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and another the Intrarcoastal Waterway, with each balcony having a table and four chairs.
Have breakfast on the Intracoastal Waterway balcony and watch the parade of yachts, sailboats, fishing boats, and jet-skis. Or enjoy the view of the pool from your balcony as you sip cocktails and relish the spectacular sunset. Or stay in your pajamas and relax on your private, ocean-side balcony off the master bedroom. Swaying sea oats with butterflies, sea birds, turtles and rabbits will entertain you as you watch the waves of the ocean and are calmed by the peaceful sounds that only the ocean can provide.
But inside you will find a large kitchen with an island, glass-top stove, all-new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops with sparkling blue flecks, and a stunning glass-tile backsplash.
You will find the kitchen well-stocked with everything to cook for the family, including an Advantium oven for speed-cooking. It is a kitchen for a cook - but watch what you are cooking because your attention will be drawn by the water views on both sides as you stand at the stove! You might decide to cook on the gas grill on the WJ deck for a barbeque treat. (Or you may just decide to treat yourself to one of St. Augustine’s fine restaurants and go out!)
You’ll want to sleep late in the comfortable king-size bed in the Master bedroom or maybe watch a movie on the new wall-mounted 32” Samsung flat-screen HDTV. The kids will have their own flat-screen TV with DVD player in their bedroom - equipped with a Pottery Barn bunk bed with single on top, double on bottom, and roll-out trundle underneath - all with new, top quality mattresses. The third bedroom, with a queen bed, is beautifully furnished with all-new furniture and with an elegant beach theme and art work. The unit sleeps eight in real beds - no sleep couches or blow-up beds!

Gorgeous views of the ocean and Intracoastal Waterway are yours from every room in Atlantic Angel, our beachfront Mediterranean-style house in St. Augustine. If you love architectural detail, luxurious furnishings, and brand new pool.
Atlantic Angel is a beautifully designed, custom built, lavishly decorated house in which each room is spectacular from floor to ceiling. Among the features here are an imported tile mural in the entryway; Saltillo, Spanish, and Mexican tile accents; skylights; stained glass; quarried coral floors; a dry aquarium; and coffered ceilings. You'll want to spend a whole day just going through Atlantic Angel inch by inch to discover its architectural treasures!
Best of all is the location of Atlantic Palace, right on the shores of St. Augustine Beach with a private walkway leading you down to the crystalline sands. The sun rises majestically over the horizon here, pelicans float by, and the sea is ever-changing. And as if all that weren't enough, the Intracoastal Waterway is in the opposite direction, with beautiful sunsets and great wildlife opportunities too!
The main living and dining area is upstairs, where you enter an enormous great room overlooking the ocean. Two walls are almost entirely windows, punctuated by a big adobe gas fireplace with a hearth seat. A comfortable sectional sofa faces the ocean & fireplace, while an LCD TV and DVD player stand ready to keep the group entertained.
On two sides of the great room are sunrooms, perfect for reading, talking, or dreaming a few hours away! The furnishings in here are wonderfully cushioned and comfy, inviting you to linger, gazing out at the beach.
The open plan of this area connects the living room with the dining area and the kitchen, both of which are perfect for your large group. The dining table overlooks the ocean, while the kitchen is a gourmand's dream, with professional-quality stainless-steel appliances including 2 refrigerators, a Thermidor commercial gas cooktop, convection oven, and warming oven. Indian granite countertops, a walk-in pantry, and a sunny breakfast nook complete the amazing features of the kitchen, tempting even the most reluctant cook to "play house"!
In addition to the grand room, Atlantic Angel also sports a rec room with pool. Of course, most of the time you will find yourselves gathering on the breezy oceanfront patio or the long, covered balcony with Intracoastal Waterway views. Bougainvillea blooms in our garden, a Spanish fountain merrily trickles, and all is lush, peaceful, and bright with tropical beauty!
The master suite is one of the crown jewels of Atlantic Angel. Featuring a king-sized bed, the master bedroom includes an LCD TV and DVD player, beamed ceiling, and access to the oceanfront deck. The master bath is stunning, with marblework, a garden Jacuzzi tub, dual vanities, dry aquarium, and stained-glass transom. You'll feel as though you're at an exclusive spa every time you set foot in this room!
Two roomy guest bedrooms sleep an additional 8 people. One contains 2 queen-sized beds and a small TV, while the other offers a twin with a trundle, plus a double Murphy bed. Both lead out to the 30-foot-long balcony overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, and each has its own designer bathroom. No matter where you sleep at Atlantic Angel, your surroundings will wow you!
The ground floor features a brand new 4th bedroom that can sleep 4. This newly furnished room features 2 queen beds. There is also a brand new full bathroom on the ground floor. This room is perfect for 2 families traveling together or for a group of kids.
Best of all, a brand new pool has been added as of January, 2013. A truly exceptional vacation venue with unforgettable vistas and uniquely beautiful décor, reserve Atlantic Angel today.
We chose this house since it was directly on the beach and had a pool for the kids to take a break from the beach if needed. The house was amazing, clean and neat and all the amenities of home and then some! The pool was smaller than expected but worked out awesome. The sunrises, unimaginable! And you could even see the sunsets on the inter-coastal side too. There were a few things that needed attending too, but maintenance was very responsive and handled things accordingly. The beach was so close, at high tide the beach was literally 30 feet from the end of the walkway, which really wasn't that long. Turtles along the walkway to the beach was something to look forward to each trip to and from the beach. This rental property and the rental company are highly recommended. There were beach chairs there and beach toys left behind from other renters as well as household items so it is recommended that you check out the house before buying or renting items. Cannot say enough about the house, so I'll leave you with this, Astonishing!St Augustine 6.82 miles
Sweeping oceanfront views and utter privacy are yours in our Crescent Cottage, nestled high on the dunes at the tip of the 35 foot dune. Enjoy unspoiled beaches and fabulous sunrises from our outdoor patio deck and huge screened porch! Despite the 4 small bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (with showers only), Crescent Cottage has a cozy bungalow feel, no doubt because of the painted wood frames outlining our floor-to-ceiling windows, the abundance of quilts and other handcrafted art, and the warm décor. Or perhaps it's the fun-and-funky mix of Vermont cabin furnishings with nautical yard art!
(Be sure to pose the whole family in front of the cannon, rescued from nearby Matanzas River!) The living room is the heart of our house, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Stretch out the couch or grab a rocking chair--this inviting area is ideal for family game night, long chats with old friends, and serene ocean-gazing. (Watch for the occasional school of dolphins just beyond the surf!) And if you want to get a little closer to the natural paradise that is Crescent Beach, our big screened-in porch provides protection from the elements while letting in the sunshine and fresh sea breezes. With plenty of seating and enviable views, it's certain to be your go-to refuge whenever you can't be at the beach.
The 4 bedrooms are ideal either for a family with children or for a large group. Comfortably sleeping 8, each is distinctively decorated, and all are snug and restful. One room offers a queen bed, while the other 3 contain doubles. With plenty of windows and extra quilts piled high, you will be pampered whether you want to close the blinds and slumber or gaze out at the starry night sky! The cottage also has 2 full bathrooms with showers. Flooded with sunlight, the kitchen is convenient and fully equipped with all the dishes, cookware, and gadgets you could ask for. A cheerful dining area is just a few steps away, simplifying mealtimes. Our fridge and cupboards have all the space you'll need to keep the gang stocked in refreshments, and our spacious countertops make preparing a seafood feast or other gourmet treat so easy! But the best part of our oceanfront cottage is its surroundings.
Conveniently located just ¼ mile south of the 206 Bridge, it is surrounded by vegetation that provides a natural privacy barrier, creating the illusion that you are alone on your private beach! A winding path leads over the dunes and down to the sugary sands. Along the way you just may glimpse a rabbit or gopher turtle! And if there is a birdwatcher in your group, polish the binoculars, grab the camera, and get ready -- you will see countless beautiful seabirds during your stay at Crescent Cottage!
Your time on this beach will be unforgettable. Stroll along the soft sands, collecting shells or simply letting the waves tickle your toes. Ride a bike along the water's edge, swim, surf, or fish without fighting the crowds -- this is your stretch of ocean, unrolling for you all day long! And when you return to Crescent Cottage, wash the sand away in our outdoor shower. Should you care to venture beyond your private paradise, a wealth of attractions wait nearby. You can rent kayaks, fishing gear, and even boats to explore the inlets of Crescent Beach, or hike through state parks. Historic St. Augustine lies at your feet, and Disney World is just 90 minutes away! Yet when you come home to Crescent Cottage, you feel miles from the hustle and bustle of civilization.
If the idea of being on the beach in an authentic beach cottage is your wish then Crescent Cottage is for you. What Crescent Cottage is, is a compact single story delightful experience with sand in your toes. There are no elevators and multi-story buildings here, you are one with the beach. Unpretentious and comfortable, it is barefooting at its best. The entire oceanfront face is a screened porch and outside of that is an equally large wooden deck - what an ocean view you have! Then take a few steps down to the second deck snuggled in the swale between the dunes. A few steps more and you have the sandy path over the fore dune where the ocean awaits. It is so rare to have the opportunity to walk the natural sand path and Crescent Cottage is one of the few places where you can! I cannot imagine a better place to spend some time, relax and enjoy.St Augustine 5.66 miles
Our living room and all 4 bedrooms of our Bella Mar condo open onto a balcony overlooking either the sunrise on Crescent Beach or the sunset on the Intracoastal! Beautifully furnished and perfectly located, this is your St. Augustine home-away-from-home! Maximum 8 people, 2 parking spaces.
Bella Mar 202 is one of just 8 condos in the beautiful and serene family enclave of Bella Mar. Here you're always just steps away from the outdoors, with that refreshing ocean breeze and the murmur of the surf. Birds wheel past, marine life has been known to raise a fin above the waves, and the blue Florida sky makes a beautiful backdrop.
Featuring an addictive hammock and a casual table and chairs, our balconies are a delight. This is the place to savor that first cup of coffee in the morning, or linger over a glass of wine before bed. It's a great place to open the laptop and send a few emails or update your Facebook status ("Fallen in love with Crescent Beach!"). You have free high-speed, dual-band wireless Internet here, so you can stay connected with one or many wireless devices even when viewing nature at its most unspoiled . . . or you can put all the electronics away, pull out the journal and binoculars, and have an old-fashioned vacation!
The best part about the balconies is that one is accessible from every bedroom, plus the living room. Your group can gather on the Intracoastal side to enjoy the sunset, and the next morning a few hearty souls may even greet the sunrise on the beach. (Don’t be surprised to see rabbits, turtles, and other wildlife scurrying about as you stroll over the dunes on our boardwalk!) You don't even have to brave the stairs -- ours is an elevator building, with ground level garage parking so nothing mars the view! There is even a dock across the street on the Intracoastal where you can enjoy the sunset or go fishing.
With the exterior so lovely, you might expect the inside of the condo to be a letdown, but you're in for a surprise. We've recently updated everything, from the travertine floors in the living, dining, kitchen, and bathrooms to the soft bamboo floors in the bedrooms. You’ll find stainless-steel kitchen appliances, HDTVs, dual-band wireless and high-speed Internet throughout. We’ve also added Blu-ray streaming devices in the main room and master bedroom. Just because you're at the beach doesn't mean you have to rough it!
Our living area is stylish and spacious, with sink-right-in couches, a 50" HDTV, year-round electric fireplace, and great views. The dining area is in one corner, beneath soft Murano glass spotlighting. Here a table for 6 awaits, with extra seating at the breakfast bar.
The kitchen is a delight, with new appliances, granite countertops, and wood cabinets filled with cookware, dishes, and utensils. There’s even a reverse osmosis water filtration system to bring you clean, tasty drinking water and ice.
The master suite is luxurious, from the king-sized bed to the bamboo wood floors, HDTV with Blu-ray player, and en suite bath with Jacuzzi. The other 3 bedrooms are similarly appointed: the second has a queen bed, HDTV, and bath with a walk-in shower. The third and fourth also have HDTVs: one with a queen bed, the other with 2 doubles. And all 4 bedrooms have balcony access and lovely views.
A third full bathroom is convenient to the living area. All of the linens you need for Bella Mar 202 are waiting for you here, along with our washer and dryer to keep them fresh. Downstairs in the garage is a convenient storage room for your beach, fishing equipment and outdoor gear.
Had a great stay. Enjoyed the condo. Our only complaint was in regards to parking. We had three cars and it was a huge inconvenience to shuttle back and forth to leave a car in the property management parking lot. We called in advance to request guidance on parking the third car per the contract, and no alternatives were provided. We were told we could not obtain a third parking pass. What made it even more frustrating was that the parking garage was at least 75% empty for the entire duration of our stay.St Augustine 7.15 miles
Newly built and available September 2014. Gut reaction: jaw drops, eyes pop...a ridiculous grin forms across your face. “Holy. Moly.” What happens when your wildest dreams and most outrageous vacation fantasies collide? You arrive outside Sea Princess Castle, pinching yourself Quite honestly, this home is a palace. Poll each and every member of your family and friends for their most outlandish, most implausible request of a vacation home: Basics first: sweeping ocean views and absolute privacy. Improve on that? Ah-ha! A vanishing-edge pool. A big, big one. With a shallow sunning area for sipping cocktails? Yes? Budding cooks and cupcake gurus might want a gourmet kitchen with more ocean views. Done. Young boys (and fully grown ones) might wish for a model train set, traveling a circuit around a top-notch home theater room.
Just kidding. Around one of the home theater rooms. Is your head spinning? Sorry, we’re only just getting started. A formal sitting room has just the right amount of elegance, without being fussy. Line up all your lovies along the biggest sectional sofa ever seen - take silly group photos, watch a movie all together (yes really, there’s space for everyone) or - in winter - just hang out around the fire. In the kitchen, if you don’t swoon first at its size (‘humungous’, we believe, is the technical term), then its double oven and 6+ hob gas range will have you feeling faint: so many recipes, so little time. Eat six meals a day, if only to best enjoy your outside dining area on the pool deck. To ring the changes, why not start with happy hour on the 2nd-floor veranda?
Get there by stairs? Maybe - but the elevator might be more fun. One night’s sleep in the master bedroom will surely count for a week’s rest anywhere else. It’s that relaxing, that comfortable, that gorgeous. Bedrooms and floors are sound-proofed, so you’ll only awake when good and ready. An in-suite fireplace is among a host of benefits: ocean views on wake-up, closets and bathroom the size of Rhode Island. Nine other guest bedrooms include two four-poster beds and decadent en suite facilities. Kids have a play area/bedroom with two sets of bunk beds (four beds total). Each bathroom is different, finished with marble, Kohler fixtures and other high-end touches. Guests can pick and choose their favorite. There is also a sleeper sofa in the game room that sleeps 2.
There is a upstairs loft with separate door and entrance that includes a bonus king bed. A formal dining area, a breakfast nook and a second, smaller guest kitchen ensure round-the-clock feasting. Should you ever remember the real world, forgotten outside, wireless Internet is included. The home’s technological spoils are many and include HDTV's. Private and gated, this property is at the end of a cul-de-saq and also boasts a beach access path just steps away. Don’t laugh - of course it’s all here. Why wouldn’t it be? Sea Princess Castle takes its name seriously - while here, you’ll be very, very spoiled.
This home is a wonderful new home. Everything about this home is lovely. We had a wonderful time in this home with people aging from 10 yrs to 75 yrs old. Waking up to the ocean view was gorgeous!!!! I know that this rental is new but I hope they add a game room. If you are use to staying in 5 star hotels ONLY, like my wife and I then you MUST stay in this rental...SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!Palm Coast 18.17 miles
It’s an easy decision to book the rental that’s totally renovated and outfitted, top to bottom, with the makings of your perfect family vacation. Chiquita’s Sun House is a 4-bedroom house with a gold-medal rating, so invite your best group of up to 14 people and dive into your private pool! (note: pool will be heated beginning October 1, 2014).
Outdoors you get twice the chance to enjoy Florida’s beautiful sunshine. Not only in and around the large (13‘X26’) private pool, but also upstairs, on a veranda furnished as a comfortable outdoor living space. With ceiling fans, a huge L-shaped couch and view to the pool below, it’s the perfect place for the lazy mornings you’re dreaming of. In the afternoon after you’ve had enough sun, pile on to the outdoor couch or armchair, as your appointed bar-tender mixes up some easy refreshments.
Indoors, the heart of the house is the newly redecorated living room. Rarely can such a tailored space simultaneously be so cheerful. Mirrors, tasteful lighting fixtures and lovely accents in pops of ocean colors set a stunning scene against gleaming hardwood floors. Indeed, Chiquita’s Sun House is a magazine-pretty space that’s ready to bring you and your family together. Two large white couches face each other across a coffee table perfect for board games and sharing snacks.
Against the wall, facing the fireplace and TV, is a third couch. Floor cushions are scattered on a beautiful blue and white rug so there’s always room for more. The room is lit with fantastic natural light all year but, once the sun goes down, you’ll really love the fireplace (especially in the winter or over the holidays). Need more? There’s a flatscreen TV hanging just above.
The kitchen is fully updated – a gorgeous example of the perfect white kitchen you’ve probably pinned on Pinterest. An L-shaped counter ends in a versatile breakfast bar. Between this and the open-plan living area, a large dining table seats eight (so who’s cooking?).
Key to any great vacation home: tons of sunshine and even more flexibility. As such, the four bedrooms at Chiquita’s Sun House will suit both a small family or a large group of up to 14 guests. A master bedroom rewards your matriarch/patriarch, while bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 offer a choice of queen bed, four bunk beds and a sleeper sofa/day bed combo.
This gold-rated property is ready to spoil you with extras, and free Wi-Fi is just the start! Ample parking, a washer/dryer, HDTV and air-conditioning ensure you’re always as comfortable as you are entertained.
With fantastic proximity to miles of white beach, historic downtown St. Augustine and dozens of day trip ideas (we can’t recommend Kennedy Space Center highly enough), Chiquita’s Sun House scores A+ for location. Yet, once you have a drink in hand in your backyard private pool, or pile all together on the living room’s three couches.
The home is gorgeous!! All of our family enjoyed the layout, the pool, and amenities.
We were expecting a little bit more than 4 beach chairs when the home sleeps 14, no beach umbrella or boogie boards, etc. but we were really happy to have the little beach wagon.
I think the owners should have a 2nd trash pickup - there was only one pickup - the day after we arrived and the trash co. didn't even empty the can. We had to call Maintenance to come pick up trash left behind. Pool was cleaned toward the end of our stay (I think it was Thursday). The pool was not clean when we arrived - perhaps pool guy should be scheduled for Saturday/sunday?
All in all a good time was had by everyone. Minor issues. Nice house.St Augustine 3.55 miles
With 5 bedrooms and able to sleep up to 12 people, Atlantic Beach House is ideal for those whose vacation philosophy is “the more the merrier.” And because it has a luxe in-ground pool and is only yards from the beach and the Atlantic Ocean, it’s also perfect for anyone who wants to spend as much time possible swimming, surfing, and basking in the Florida sunshine.
Set on nearly an acre of land, Atlantic Beach House is wonderfully private yet conveniently located. A private walkway takes you to the cinnamon-colored coquina beach, and numerous restaurants, shops, and golf courses are just a short drive away. You can even make a day trip of the Orlando theme parks… though once you discover the delights of the house itself, you may never want to leave the premises! The pool area, for instance, is like having a private resort in your backyard. Start your day with an invigorating swim, and end your evening floating under the stars. When you’re not in the pool you’ll love lazing alongside it in a well-cushioned chair on the gleaming white patio. You can barbecue steaks and burgers on the gas grill and savor them while seated at the patio dining area--and because the patio is screened in, you won’t have to fight off buzzing insects.
Should you prefer to eat indoors, the casually elegant dining table can seat at least 6 people, and another 4 can sit at the breakfast bar. Almost as big a draw as the pool area is the game room, with a pool table, a games table for playing cards, and an air hockey table. Between games you can work up a sweat on the treadmill or the elliptical, or you can lounge on the couch and watch TV on the wall-mounted flat-screen. There’s space for the whole gang to sprawl out for movie night in the living room. The huge--and hugely comfortable--sectional sofa can accommodate a crowd. It’s also a fabulous spot to stretch out with your laptop or tablet to take advantage of the free WiFi.
The living room leads out to one of the balconies--yes, Atlantic Beach House has several to choose from, all furnished with inviting seating so that you can kick back with a book and a drink amid the salt-scented sea breeze. The living room is also adjacent to the breakfast bar and the recently remodeled kitchen. With its granite countertops and sparkling stainless-steel appliances, the kitchen just may bring out your inner chef. The plentiful storage means you can stock up on groceries at the beginning of your stay, rather than have to keep running out to the supermarket. This will leave you more time to practice your backstroke or search for seashells on the beach. Catching up on your sleep is another important vacation activity, and it’s one that Atlantic Beach House makes especially enjoyable. Two of its 5 bedrooms have king-size beds, another 2 have queen-size beds, and the 5th has bunk beds, which will delight the kids.
What’s more, one of the sofas converts into a bed for 2, so you won’t have to turn away unexpected overnight guests. While all the bedrooms are spacious, with lots of storage and niceties such as TVs and full-length mirrors, the master bedroom is a standout. It includes direct access to a balcony--perfect for a romantic moonlit nightcap--and a lavish en-suite bathroom with a separate walk-in shower and soaking tub. All 3 bathrooms will have more than enough fresh towels ready and waiting--no need to bring you own. In fact, you can pack especially light, as Atlantic Beach House has its own full-size washer and dryer. Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a getaway with several couples, or a reunion with the old gang, Atlantic Beach House offers a dream location, stellar amenities, and beautiful surroundings. So what’s holding you back? Book your stay today, and get ready for your best vacation yet!
Great house in a perfect location. Well maintained but not so fancy that you have to worry about being too careful. Everything that you need to enjoy your beach stay is provided by the very friendly owners. All you need to bring are your personal items. If all goes well we will return soon.
