The rental was okay for the price. We were able to book it at the last minute so that was nice. But I don't know if it was given a check over before we got there. Both bathrooms had about 10 big winged bugs all over them and the patio door to the upstairs deck had 50-60 dead bugs all around it. It's an older rental and its age shows in many areas. It's a little bit dark inside. The back deck is very old and the deck furniture was broken and dirty. There was a little storage area that looked like people had just thrown old furniture in. Sheets were old and didn't feel good. There were 7 or 8 remotes near the main tv. None of them had batteries! The one remote we needed to operate the tv was upstairs in the loft and we didn't find it until right before we were leaving. That one did have batteries, thankfully. The tv in the downstairs bedroom didn't work. Everything else was clean and in good order. We did not use the washer/dryer but it looked clean and operational. The hot tub is older, but it was clean, hot and private and the best part of the whole cabin!

A very happy experience; our son from Portland met the rest of us there, and the boys all snowboarded at a few places nearby. It was the first time we'd rented a place away from home for Christmas, and we had a blast.

We totally enjoyed staying in this house... Was impressed seeing the child gate using which we stopped our child form climbing stairs. Everyhting was great ... location... facilities ... accessbility .... price for the house .... Kitchen ... No complains but one point to be improved is the mattress in the lower bedroom and upper deck was not comfortable. Too much springy it was.

House worked great even though we only ended up with 3 people and 2 dogs. Lots of great decks and hot tub, quiet neighborhood. House needs a little maintenance (refrigerator controls broken and froze all refrigerator items, heater thermostat not working (kept raising temp to 75 on it's own), several burned out light bulbs throughout the house (including decks) and only 1 replacement bulb).

We've stayed at this location for 3 years in a row now, and we like it. But we come to expect maintenance issues ...
Twe rented the house at 1831 Minniconjou,Thanks for all you guys did to make a very special white Xmas at the rented home. It was perfect for my family including grandma 89 years old. We had a blast, the house was cozy, and felt very comfortable for everyone.Working with your company was awesome and we'll be back for sure. Thanks again!
The house is in a good neighborhood. The house is great as a last minute choice. The house was not ready when I arrived so the housekeeper cleaned while I waited. She left the used hairy soap bar, no kitchen starting supplies as promised. The deck was covered with pine needles and it took me over an hour to clean myself as the housekeeping dose not clean it. It needs major TLC. Mostly dusting, to keep the bugs to a minumum. Lots of cobwebs meant lots of spiders, making nests in the pots and pans. Screen door broken allowing the flying bugs easy access. We fixed the screen door, dusted most of the wood blinds and wanted to oil the cabinets and doors but my husband stopped me because I'm not the maid. I couldn't deal with the dust. Hot tub only gets to about 100.
Property was beautiful - very spacious and felt like home. Hot tub was a decent size, wi-fi connection was weak and location was ok (on the outskirts of everything, but driving distance if we wanted to go into town). Dishwasher was broken when we checked in, so we had to do all our dishes by hand. If you plan on staying in the entire trip and not leaving, this property is great for that! Overall we had a pleasant stay here.
The best experience from the beginning till the end. All the staff really professional, especially Kristen Chasey she helped me on choosing the perfect cabin for me and my family, she was always answering all my questions and concerns. Perfect location and the house was really neat and perfectly described.
The South Lake Tahoe area is filled with amazing activities for the whole family. For the skiiers and snowboarders, Heavenly Mountain Resort offers some great powder during the winter time. The Gondola at this resort is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tahoe. If you're looking for other outdoor options, though, such as hiking, mountain biking, or nature walks, be sure you hit up the Mount Tallac Trail, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, Lower Eagle Falls, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, or the Bijou Community Park (disc golf is popular here). The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena offers some great ice skating year round and Adventure Mountain is a great place to sled in the winter. Some other activities you might consider are hot-air-balloon rides, helicopter tours, boat tours, nature tours, wine-tasting tours, and heritage tours. For the educationally minded, Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum offer great historical information about the area. You can even catch your own dinner at the Tahoe Trout Farm! If being indoors is more your style, South Lake Tahoe has tons of great restaurants, bars, spas, galleries, and shops. Like the rest of Tahoe, there's plenty of access to kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddleboarding, and parasailing in this area, too. One of the best outdoor activities, though, is Regan Beach, which gets crowded but offers some great swimming and some stunning views. Oh, and you might drive a bit north to check out Fallen Leaf Lake, too! It's a great photo opportunity.
