The property is very nice, clean and comfortable. It has everything you may need in a kitchen, even a rice cooker. Wifi signal was sometimes weak but connectable. I would definitely come back. However, I hope the service can more responsive the next time. I had to call for three times to have someone coming after two days for a dysfunctional shower, the night before our departure. Well, it turned out that the problem wasn't the shower itself, but the cold-hot marker was inverse.
From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a treat. The house was really spacious, incredibly well kitted out and thoroughly spotless!! Buckingham Properties had everything set up really well and our entire vacation was greatly assisted by their seamless assistance and professional interaction. I would have no hesitation in returning.
This property was beautiful as have all the Buckingham properties I have stayed in have been. Property has steam room and sauna which was great after playing all day. Only downfall was that we had problems getting the hot tub to work, however Buckingham gave a partial refund for this. If your looking to stay in the South Lake Tahoe area you cant go wrong with the properties they have to offer. Easy to book and now they have a great app for your smart phone to access all the information about your rental. Very Satisfied Customer, Phil
Beautiful house in a beautiful forest location! Absolutely everything necessary was there. Towels , bedding, kitchen utensils. Everything and more. Loved my stay in the house. Would recommend to everyone!!!
Not impressed with this property or it's location. This is not a luxury property.
The South Lake Tahoe area is filled with amazing activities for the whole family. For the skiiers and snowboarders, Heavenly Mountain Resort offers some great powder during the winter time. The Gondola at this resort is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tahoe. If you're looking for other outdoor options, though, such as hiking, mountain biking, or nature walks, be sure you hit up the Mount Tallac Trail, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, Lower Eagle Falls, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, or the Bijou Community Park (disc golf is popular here). The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena offers some great ice skating year round and Adventure Mountain is a great place to sled in the winter. Some other activities you might consider are hot-air-balloon rides, helicopter tours, boat tours, nature tours, wine-tasting tours, and heritage tours. For the educationally minded, Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum offer great historical information about the area. You can even catch your own dinner at the Tahoe Trout Farm! If being indoors is more your style, South Lake Tahoe has tons of great restaurants, bars, spas, galleries, and shops. Like the rest of Tahoe, there's plenty of access to kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddleboarding, and parasailing in this area, too. One of the best outdoor activities, though, is Regan Beach, which gets crowded but offers some great swimming and some stunning views. Oh, and you might drive a bit north to check out Fallen Leaf Lake, too! It's a great photo opportunity.
