This cabin was AWESOME, the second we walked in, we felt right at home, it was cozy, clean and will equipped (towels, coffee maker, toiletries, board games, washer & dryer, etc) the furnishing all tied into the cabin feel, We all slept comfortably, our family could have not asked for a better stay , I highly recommend this place for friends & families with kids .

Enjoyed family, friends and locals at our stay here. Loved the little hike behind the cabin, the jacuzzi and the kitchen was great for cooking, we were nearby shopping and adventures and still in a secluded enough location. Would LOVE to visit again. :)

The place wasn’t as close to Tahoe as I would have liked, but it was conveniently off the freeway. We had a small glitch but management took care of it properly.

IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY WITH MY WHOLE FAMILY, THE AREA IS REALLY QUIET AND PEACEFUL, WHICH IT WAS WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR.

We used this rental for a family get together. It was roomy for our group of five, each person having a comfortable bed to sleep in.
The location was convenient for gambling, dining with a view of Lake Tahoe, and hiking. We loved the spa for evening relaxation.
The rental was well equipped for our stay. The rental agency was courteous and helpful.
This property was clean, but had the look of having had plenty of use.
I would definitely rent this place again.

We really enjoyed this cabin. We were able to have our Labrador retriever stay with us, the surroundings were beautiful and quiet, the kids loved the foosball table and the hot tub, it was not too long of a drive to Tahoe and Echo Lake, it was clean and had everything we needed for the 3 nights we were there. Management was very nice and we would stay here or another of their properties in the future. Thank you!

Great cozy cabin, very close to everything you need in S.Lake!

Our party of 9 had a great time despite having a couple issues. The garbage disposal was acting up, the dishwasher was temperamental (but really, with a party of 9 the dishwasher wasn't going to be big enough anyway), and the hot tub wouldn't get hot. I emailed the property management and they called me back within minutes to see if I wanted someone to come out, we didn't as none of the issues were deal breakers, I mainly just wanted them to know about it. The location of the cabin is perfect, it feels like you are secluded but you're actually within minutes of town. If you're looking for a place to eat, Cold Water Brewery is amazing. 2 adults and 4 kids and every single thing we ordered was delicious.

Had a great time in south lake Tahoe. The location was fantastic and was close to state line and all the casinos. Property was clean, but had to get rat traps since we saw 2 field mice in the kitchen. This is pretty normal for the area though. All in all, a nice, clean and cozy cabin!

My wife and I typically vacation somewhere warm with a beach when we choose our destinations. Obviously, during the grip of winter, this was NOT our typical spot. That being said, we were in awe of the beauty in the area and how organized the whole area was in taking care of the 46” of snow that had just stopped falling when we landed on St. Patrick’s Day, also our wedding anniversary. We rented this large cabin for ourselves and one other couple, and had an amazing trip! The cabin was clean with a large fireplace and reasonably priced. The snow that had fallen was cleared for us to park our rental car and safely walk into the cabin. Having pots, pans, plates, forks, knives, bedding, toilet paper and everything else necessary for your stay was super convenient and welcomed by us so that we didn’t have to store buy all of that. Bring your clothes some groceries, firewood, and a smile, that is all you will need. 10 Stars

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We loved enjoying the jacuzzi after a long day of snowboarding, and the kids loved the upstairs kids room with the foosball table. Nice open concept kitchen and living area. The t.v. in the living area is a bit small and the bed in the room my husband and I slept in left us with backaches in the morning. I would still recommend this property, it was clean and cute and close to Sierra-At-Tahoe and Heavenly ski resorts.

We stayed for 6 days with our 4 kids, including 2 teenagers. The cabin was a great size with plenty of bedrooms, a well stocked and well functioning kitchen (but for the tiny dishwasher), and the hot tub was great.

perfect for our group, we do an annual golf trip.

Start off by saying my family and I had a great time.
Although there was some much needed mouse's traps there was 2 mouses in the cabin on arrival.
There was trash under the front deck and on the back deck im assuming it was from the party before us and wasnt picked up from the cleaning services.
Overall we had a great time and look forward to comming back. Michelle the property manager was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early due to having elderly people with me.

My family and I are so pleased with our stay and experience that were alread8planning our return trip to stay longer. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL home with amenities and extras that made the experience that much more delightful. The morning coffee in the Bot tub surrounded by a blanket of snow was unforgettable. I have recommend this rental to all my coworkers and friends.

This home was exactly as described - with one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs, it would be great for 2 families or an extended family stay. The hot tub was in good condition, and we really enjoyed the privacy being on the forest. There is plenty of seating and enough kitchen supplies, and good instructions for operating the electronics. The foos ball table is well-cared for and was a big hit. We were in town during April, and the neighborhood was very quiet and beautiful, but very close to restaurants and shops in Meyers. Pinnacle was wonderful to deal with, very responsive and accommodating to our family. Overall, a very very positive experience.

Everything was great. It was exactly as described. Lots of cooking ware too. Very clean. The managers were helpful. We were moved here last minute after the hot tub at our original property broke down before our stay -hassle free. Good sledding hills behind the property too!

The cabin was beautiful, it was smaller than expected but still very comfy. The overall cabin was in good condition. The fuse table was really fun for my niece, she loved playing and challenging the whole family. The only problem is that in the room with 3 beds had a hole up on the roof that had a nest of fly-like bugs falling down into the room. This scared my niece but with some bug spray and a vaccum we managed to clean up all the bugs. We also managed to plug the hole with a piece of paper so the bugs wouldn't get in. We also could find a kettle but managed to just boil water in a pot like the old days! Besides that we had a great time relaxing for my weekend. Overall, the cabin was in a beautiful location, the hot tub was great and the owner was really nice about us checking out a little later, since we had a baby and a 6 year old things tend to get a little crazy!

I've been renting from Pinnacle Lake Tahoe Getaways for the almost 6 years now. I have never had a serious problem. If I did have any concern or problem, I would call the Manager Michelle she responded immediately to resolve the issue. Just like this last time on Feb 10, 2017, there was too much snow on the porch in front of the window, Michelle had the maintenance guys come over and had it removed immediately! She's awesome! Great company to rent from! Thanks Pinnacle for a great stay!

Nice house but it was not totally clean. Spider Webs were in the kitchen. The kettle , mixer and water filter were missing, so kitchen was not fully equipped. WiFi was not working. We rented this house because it had a hut tub/ jacuzzi outside. I asked if it's working before we rented it. When we got there the hut tub was full with dirty water. I called the owner but during 4 days nobody came to clean we were not able to use it. Very disappointed.

The property backs onto National Forest which was awesome for sledding ,dog walking and the need to pay fees for Sno-Parks.Well equipped apart from a couple of issues--The sheets in the upstairs bedroom and on the full bed were terrible--old scratchy flannel.I actually bought sheets for us at KMart to sleep on as those were SO uncomfortable. And the ants....After them falling on my grandson in the travel cot and HUNDREDS all over the floor in the upstairs bedroom (these are big ants) we bought more spray--worked for an hour then more poured my sons sat there and watched where they came from as no-one was prepared to sleep in that room. Finally a cuouple of areas on the ceiling became obvious-- a bit of duct tape later problem solved!! Ants trying desperately to get in while my sons duct taped their holes... WE did worry they would find another way to come in but they didn't.BUT it is a great place and I will be looking to return next year.....More snow fun !!
Had a wonderful time
Cabin had everything we needed. Loved the tranquility of the neighborhood. Nice fireplace. Property backs up to open land. Loved that the cabin was out of a town/City. Grocery store and gas 5 minutes away. Good central location between Tahoe and Hope Valley. We loved our visit !
I was traveling with four other friends. We have been friends since grade school and try to get together every year if possible. This year we chose South Lake Tahoe so that we could meet up wit another friend who lives overseas. That said, our trip was great. Our stay at the Snowshoe Inn was also great. The place was clean and well organized with enough beds to accommodate us all. My only criticisms are as follows: although the place was very clean, the carpet is very stained which gave the appearance of being dirty. Also the couches need to be replaced. Covering them up with a cover only gives the impression that they are not in the best of shape. Also, the bedroom upstairs with the four beds needs dressers and mirrors to make it more guest friendly.
We picked this place because it could sleep 12 people; while it definitely had bedding for 12, nothing else about the house accommodated 12. The kitchen was tiny, as was the living room. The dishwasher was so small that we couldn't fit dishes from even one meal in at once (plus the dishwasher detergent that was there didn't even work in this dishwasher) and the table only sat 6 people. It also had fewer supplies than any other VRBO we've stayed at before and we ended up having to buy a lot of supplies (like trash bags) that usually are provided.
Our family stayed at The Showshoe Inn this past weekend and greatly enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, comfortable and cozy. We really enjoyed the theme that was seen throughout the house with all the bear and winter sports decorations. The fireplace and wooden stairs really added a woodsy chalet touch, which we really liked. We also stayed here after a few renovations were done so we did not run into the issues that others have spoken about. Overall a fun stay and would highly recommend!
Cracked toilet seat in main bedroom. All supplied kitchen equipment appeared to be 99 Cent Store quality and heavily used, broken handle on microwave door made it unusable, broken tea kettle was replaced on request,
We heard a mouse throughout our stay in the walls-we were not told about it, butowner-set mouse trap killed mouse on last day of stay. Very hard to lock front door. Rental advertised as in South Lake Tahoe, but was actually in next town-Meyers. Owner notified of equipment deficiencies but attributed it to "heavy use this season" with no offer of price reduction or repair or replacement of broken equipment. At $300 a day+ for a 4-day stay, this was no bargain. We have traveled to 33 countries-this rental had the most deficient equipment of any place we have stayed before.
Everything was satisfactory. My only comment is that there were a lot of light bulbs out - no big deal.
We had a good time at the was a great location whichever direction we wanted to explore.
Wouldn't have asked for a better experiences on my first vacation rental. The home waa very comfortable and cozy.
Great getaway. Should either replace or get rid of Foosball table. Nobody came by to clear driveway and was completely snowed and iced in on arrival. Otherwise great. Staffing was responsive and informative. Cabin decorated nicely. Area perfect for kids and grandkids. Would stay again
The South Lake Tahoe area is filled with amazing activities for the whole family. For the skiiers and snowboarders, Heavenly Mountain Resort offers some great powder during the winter time. The Gondola at this resort is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tahoe. If you're looking for other outdoor options, though, such as hiking, mountain biking, or nature walks, be sure you hit up the Mount Tallac Trail, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, Lower Eagle Falls, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, or the Bijou Community Park (disc golf is popular here). The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena offers some great ice skating year round and Adventure Mountain is a great place to sled in the winter. Some other activities you might consider are hot-air-balloon rides, helicopter tours, boat tours, nature tours, wine-tasting tours, and heritage tours. For the educationally minded, Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum offer great historical information about the area. You can even catch your own dinner at the Tahoe Trout Farm! If being indoors is more your style, South Lake Tahoe has tons of great restaurants, bars, spas, galleries, and shops. Like the rest of Tahoe, there's plenty of access to kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddleboarding, and parasailing in this area, too. One of the best outdoor activities, though, is Regan Beach, which gets crowded but offers some great swimming and some stunning views. Oh, and you might drive a bit north to check out Fallen Leaf Lake, too! It's a great photo opportunity.
