The house is on a corner lot, great for outdoor activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, the close proximity to the town, and the great family space it provided. The kitchen and family room is a great size for a large group and for entertaining.

We saw a mouse in the kitchen and found droppings in bottom kitchen cabinets.

The property and house were just as described and perfect. There was all items we needed in the house for us to use (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, blankets, pillows, etc.)
There is so many beds it is perfect for a family or group of friends who are looking for a fun get away. The living space upstairs is huge, even bigger than the pictures present. As for the owner, she was so responsive right away, very helpful with any questions. The location is perfect too, far enough so you have peace and quiet, yet just a 10 minute drive to the heart of south lake Tahoe. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone :)

We had an amazing time. The house was perfect so everyone had a bed and the living room and kitchen were nice and open so we could all be together and not crammed.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights, It was a Beautiful Home. excellent for a large group. Would reccomend 100% and will definitley stay again soon.
I was looking for a cozy place to spend Thanksgiving with my family and this place was amazing. From the day I made the reservation Michelle made sure she was available and responded to questions promptly. The Jacuzzi was AMAZING...... Thank you, Michelle, we had a great time!!! We look forward to renting again.
This place was perfect for our purposes. Great location, spacious, quiet and clean. Hot tub was a nice addition. Would certainly stay here again.
The house was perfect for my family and my brothers to vacation in. A few things I want to mention is that the house is very outdated!! It was built in 1994 and it looks and feels every bit of 1994. All the furniture is out dated along with the appliances. Other than that the house is beautiful it just needs a make over!! Another thing is the the cleaning..... looks like the company who cleans the house just go in a pick up. There were cobwebs all over the place. The air vent which I removed so that it would get attention was completely black!!! It hadn’t been changed in probably years. I would defently stay again if the house undergoes a much needed revamp to the 21st century!!!
The bare minimum cleaning and amenities were supplied by management. The ceiling fan was extremely dirty and probably posed a health hazard. Many window blinds were broken and hence unusable. All furniture and appliances were outdated. I wouldn't stay here again and I certainly wouldn't recommend this house to other vacationers.
This was my first Experience with renting through Homeaway. The house was in a very nice neighborhood and very roomy for my family of nine. We were close to the lake, shopping, and the casinos. Everything was very nice and clean when we arrived. And it was great that we could cook our own food
My friends and I had a great experience at this rental. There was plenty of space for the 12 of us, and we were super close to Heavenly (and only about 45 minutes away from Kirkwood.) The house was perfect and the hot tub was a bonus after a long day on skis. We would definitely rent this spot again!
Truly enjoyed staying here, beautiful house, nicely furnished, wonderful location.
Great and beautiful location. 20 min drive from the heavenly gondola. Really close to grocery shopping centers. I am giving it a 4/5 stars for a couple reasons. In the master bedroom my blanket was dirty. There was white dog hair all over it and a few what looked like “drool” marks on it. It was a dark brown blanket so the marks stood out. The dark brown side was flipped on the inside as if they tried to hide the blanket was dirty. But when we got ready to go to sleep and folded over the blanket we saw a large white “drool” mark. Very disappointed on that. But all the other rooms blankets were clean. And luckily they have more in the closet so I did not use what was on the bed. The oven is very very small. Does not fit a family size turkey so if plan on doing holiday cooking prepare for a small oven! Despite those things I LOvE this place. So cozy and really felt comfortable. I will be coming back but will prepare better for cooking and maybe bring my own blankets/sheets.
The house was located in a great spot close to Pope Beach and to hiking grounds. The house was super clean and beautiful, was more then enough room for 11 of us, the kitchen and living room are super spacious. The only problems we had were both blowdryers provided didn't work the showerhead at the downstairs bathroom didn't work and half way threw BBQing the grill ran out of gas and we had to cook the rest on the stove.
The rental was such a gorgeous, one of the best house I've rented in Tahoe. It's very open & spacious and have more than enough room for a big family. I liked how all of the amenities were very up to date and everything works. However, one thing I dislike was the air circulation; the AC was definitely broken to some sort because the ac wasn't cooling down during our stay, which was 3 days. I was glad it doesn't get hot in Tahoe, or else we'll be suffering. Other than that everything was perfect! Loved the property management too!
The house was great itself; meaning it was a nice space for us to stay in. The general condition wasn't up to par however. There was no sponge to wash the dishes with, there was a band-aid in the master room carpet, there wasn't any propane in the tank so our BBQ lunch was delayed nor was there any oil/salt/pepper for the rest of our meals which again, we had to make a stop to Raley's to purchase more things that again, delayed our meals (luckily there was a 24 hour store not far.) If you want to rent this space, make sure to bring everything you need on your end (down to the nitty gritty just to be safe and save yourself time to go out and buy things) or hopefully, the homeowner will restock the house with basic essentials to help our stay feel more like home. I don't usually leave reviews like this but if I was considering to rent this house, I would like to know from people who stayed to help me plan on what to pack accordingly.
Great location and spacious house with open floor plan.
The house was amazing for a group of 11 people. There was plenty of room and seating at the kitchen. There were two different lake access points from the house that were only an 8 minute drive so it was easy getting people to/from the beach in one car with two trips. The only downside was the master bedroom was always extremly warm. The AC was on the whole weekend and cooled off the downstairs nicely it didn't really work in the master bedroom due to there only being one vent. There were a few box fans at the property so we set those in front of the windows to cool off the upstairs. It worked well for the living room but the master was usually still warm.
The South Lake Tahoe area is filled with amazing activities for the whole family. For the skiiers and snowboarders, Heavenly Mountain Resort offers some great powder during the winter time. The Gondola at this resort is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tahoe. If you're looking for other outdoor options, though, such as hiking, mountain biking, or nature walks, be sure you hit up the Mount Tallac Trail, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, Lower Eagle Falls, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, or the Bijou Community Park (disc golf is popular here). The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena offers some great ice skating year round and Adventure Mountain is a great place to sled in the winter. Some other activities you might consider are hot-air-balloon rides, helicopter tours, boat tours, nature tours, wine-tasting tours, and heritage tours. For the educationally minded, Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum offer great historical information about the area. You can even catch your own dinner at the Tahoe Trout Farm! If being indoors is more your style, South Lake Tahoe has tons of great restaurants, bars, spas, galleries, and shops. Like the rest of Tahoe, there's plenty of access to kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddleboarding, and parasailing in this area, too. One of the best outdoor activities, though, is Regan Beach, which gets crowded but offers some great swimming and some stunning views. Oh, and you might drive a bit north to check out Fallen Leaf Lake, too! It's a great photo opportunity.
