Condo was immaculate, nicely decorated, very convenient to slopes. However, steep stairways to main floor living area and second floor bedrooms was most inconvenient for elderly couple such as us. Also, not practical with ski equipment and, I would assume, families with young children.

Great property, well laid out in a good location (15minute or so walk from the slopes). The property is opposite the club house for the condo unit and so you can easily walk over to the pool (was closed in winter), hot tubs (open!) and fitness centre etc. The agents were helpful and super responsive
Only thing that was excessive and not pleasant (and in my opinion way over the top vs other rentals i've stayed at), was the endless list of rules and regulations and threats of fines or extra charges for non-compliance. i.e. even for failure to load the dishwasher upon leaving! You were reminded about these via signs, emails, folders etc.
I'm not sure if they've had bad experiences from other renters, but my advice would be to calm down a bit on these...!

This place is awesome just a few minutes away from Heavenly mountain. One of the most fully equipt kitchen I've ever stayed in. Will definitely stay here again with my family.

This condo is a great setup for exploring South Lake Tahoe - it was comfy and everything worked as expected such that we were able to relax and decompress. We used it as a home base for exploring around the area, and enjoyed the hot tub and retro games room which are literally right across the parking area. We had our 18-month old son who enjoyed the place as well, though it would be nice if baby gates were installed or somehow available given the two sets of stairs. The only thing to note if you have 4 adults is that you have to take quick showers because it’s a small hot water tank, though it did the job for us once we realized we had to be careful not to take long showers or at least wait a little bit for it to hear water back up. Cell phone coverage in the area may vary depending on your provider (T-Mobile was unsurprisingly not great) but the Wi-Fi was functional even if it wasn’t all that speedy. I would absolutely rent this property again though, and encourage you to do the same!

The rental was great for what we needed. We were enjoying the area and at a wedding so we weren't around much. The kitchen, TV area was great when we there to relax.

The condo was quiet, close, but not in the middle of town. It was comfortable & well stocked for our needs, though a few light bulbs were out. The only drawback was 2 sets of steep stairs, which were a problem for my husband. We were there for 2 nights in September, attending a family wedding.
Sharon W.on 08/25/2018
Perfect for 2 couples attending a wedding at Heavenly. Less than a mile from the tram that takes you to the top of the mountain for ceremony and reception.

Good facilities, well stocked kitchen. A lot of basic pantry items available. Area was very quiet, home was very close to the pool.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect and the condo was well kept and had everything we needed for our stay. Restaurants were close and there were plenty of hiking trails right outside the door.

This was a very nice condo with probably the best equipped kitchen of any rental we have ever had. Unfortunately, our vacation was marred when found out on our first night that the upstairs toilet was leaking into the downstairs sink. The management company did not respond to our voice message but when a live person was reached the were quick to get a maintenance person out. The main bath was out of service which meant no showers and we were all forced to use the half bath request for an accommodation to compensate us for our inconvenience was ignored.

Loved the condo. Perfect for two couple, close to everything.

WE had a great stay at this little condo, cosy, close to downtown South Lake Tahoe, but still at the heart of nature. Everything we needed for a family getaway and we were impressed by the kitchen inventory to be able to cook at home. Better inventory needed with regards to bedding (sheets) for 6 people as advertised.
Debra J.on 12/17/2017
The condo was nice and had everything we needed. It was a bit cold. It could have used heavier curtains on the windows to prevent the cold being transferred and to make the bedrooms darker for sleeping. Response time was good from the manager. There was a problem with a breaker being thrown and I had someone there to turn it on in no time.
Kristina B.on 09/14/2017
The condominium was clean, nicely furnished and roomy for the 4 of us. Loved sitting on the balcony looking into the forest.

Great location, good pool, hot tub. Clean, nice layout.

We stayed here with another couple. split the cost and one of the best experiences ever. the place had everything we needed and more. beautiful setting. everyone around super nice. Shawn the maintenance manger was so nice. We were up there for a wedding and he let us invite some people over for a pre wedding BBQ at the rec center. our place had big screen tv, great spacious, couldnt have asked for a better experiance. We will definatly be back next year.

Our condo was exactly as advertised and a little more. Plenty of room and amenities. Close to the mountain, short walk to the bus pick up for California Lodge at Heavenly. Short drive to the Village, casinos and shopping. Best part was the location of the unit to the hot tub, literally across the street! Will be back here for sure.
A beautiful weekend in Tahoe with a lovely south tahoe abode.
Perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids 7 & 10 years old)
You are at the top of a long driveway so during the winter after snow it can be VERY slippery. We had to put chains on our SUV so we wouldn't slide.
Rental was great, loved the rec room across the street. On site property manager was very sweet. I loved everything abut this rental except, just as the previous review stated, we also looked everywhere and could not find an extra pair of bedding for the pull out couch or any extra pillow cases. Other than that, the place was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location...would definitely stay here again
This condo is in a great location In South Lake Tahoe. The beds and pillows however were well below their "Luxury" billing. Comfort and cleanliness are my two main requirements. The condo was clean but the beds were horrible. Owners would be wise to invest in at least a pillow top mattress to attract renters to come back. Would not rent this location again., :(
The South Lake Tahoe area is filled with amazing activities for the whole family. For the skiiers and snowboarders, Heavenly Mountain Resort offers some great powder during the winter time. The Gondola at this resort is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tahoe. If you're looking for other outdoor options, though, such as hiking, mountain biking, or nature walks, be sure you hit up the Mount Tallac Trail, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, Lower Eagle Falls, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, or the Bijou Community Park (disc golf is popular here). The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena offers some great ice skating year round and Adventure Mountain is a great place to sled in the winter. Some other activities you might consider are hot-air-balloon rides, helicopter tours, boat tours, nature tours, wine-tasting tours, and heritage tours. For the educationally minded, Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum offer great historical information about the area. You can even catch your own dinner at the Tahoe Trout Farm! If being indoors is more your style, South Lake Tahoe has tons of great restaurants, bars, spas, galleries, and shops. Like the rest of Tahoe, there's plenty of access to kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddleboarding, and parasailing in this area, too. One of the best outdoor activities, though, is Regan Beach, which gets crowded but offers some great swimming and some stunning views. Oh, and you might drive a bit north to check out Fallen Leaf Lake, too! It's a great photo opportunity.
