The home was comfortable and very neat when we entered. Very close to Heavenly and casinos. The kitchen was well equipped and the huge dining table was a big plus for all of us to sit and recap our skiing stories. Minor issues like some of the lights were not working and water heater cannot service more than 4 showers in a row (bigger groups may want to stagger the use of hot water).
My friends and I had a great time. House was perfect for our needs. We are definitely doing this every year. They gave us a free bottle of wine as we were checking in. Nice people, we will do business again, thanks.

Overall we had an excellent time, the home was very cozy. Oven wasn't working but it got fixed very quickly. Will come again!!

We had a very pleasant stay. We arrived around 11:30 pm - 12:00 am & usually by then, people are quite tired & sometimes unpleasant. But the gentlemen who helped us check in was very friendly. I didn't realize we'd receive a goodie bag with a bottle of wine which was a nice surprise. We thought that because we were there on Superbowl weekend, we'd miss out on it, but turns out you guys were having a deal of free night. It definitely made it less stressful having to have everyone ready & packed before the check-out time on Superbowl Sunday. The cabin itself was very cozy. Kitchen was well equipped. Only thing was, it was missing a sponge. Thanks again! We'd definitely stay at these cabins again on our next big Tahoe Trip!

It was like stepping back into time which I thought was cool. The whole set up is cozy, more than enough space for 8 ppl. Kitchen is fully stocked and everything is nearby. More than enough snow is just steps away behind the house and the view is nice too. Even got to see some wildlife. I will def' be using LTA again for future trips. The staff is helpful and courteous. It was home away from home, and I recommend it! :)
This was a very nice place for a ski weekend with friends. The decor may not be modern luxury, but its a clean, large cabin, and great for a big group. The loft works well for a big group of singles; it might not be great for several couples, as there are only two private rooms. The porch is nice with the gas BBQ, great for dinner after a day on the mountain. Also, the kitchen is fully stocked for anything you want to make. Biggest plus is that it is less than a mile from the Heavenly CA base lodge. One warning is that it is quite hilly on these streets, so if there is a ton of snow you probably needs chains to make it to the drive way, if not 4x4. Customer service from this company is great like always, second time staying with them now.
The location of the house was great. It was in a nice neighborhood and very close to Heavenly Village. The house was clean and had everything we needed for the week. The space was great for 5 adults and 2 children. The house was a bit outdated though, we felt like we stepped into the late '70s early '80s era, but that really didn't matter. The only issue we had was the wireless internet wasn't working. We had contacted Lake Tahoe Accommodations and they contacted the owner, who called us about how to use the internet. It still didn't work, but we were very appreciative with Lake Tahoe Accommodation and the owners help. Thanks to Lake Tahoe Accommodation for your excellent customer service. It is hard to find good service these days and you showed you really cared about your customers!
Overall, it was a good experience. It was nicely decorated, had a collection of movies, books, and games, which we didn't really use, and a great view in the back of a few trees and untouched snow. The only thing was that the beds were a bit worn.
We stayed there the first weekend in May and it was a great experience. We had a blast, and there were no hassles checking in or out!

I was just there for Memorial Day Weekend. Do not be deceived by the pictures, they do no justice to this property. This place is gorgeous, peaceful and they have everything you will need for winter or summer. The neighbors are very friendly, but make sure that you take everything out of your car because of bears and do not leave garbage outside!
9 people in my group comfortably stayed there. It is a basic ski lodge with no frills, but for the price we were happy. It served its purpose and met our basic needs. We saw a bear in the backyard. The hot tub and sauna were interesting, but were nice after of couple days of skiing/boarding. If you are on a tight budget, its perfect, otherwise get something nicer.
This is a nice house for a group because it has single beds upstairs, plenty of space, and pretty close to Heavenly ski lift. It was also great to have wireless internet available. We made a fire and cooked up a nice meal. It sure beats hotel life! I think that this is not a 5 Star accommodation, but it is certainly fine for a group of international students. Overall, I would give our stay a 7 out of 10. The house itself is not perfect, but for a clean rental, we enjoyed it! I will say that the Property management was fair. There was a large hole in the wall that we discovered when we arrived, and the property management did not attempt to charge us for it, so they are fair. Overall, I would recommend this for a group of college students or family, but not if you are used to the top of the line facility. It is a 3-star out of 5-star place, but it is also a good price.
The South Lake Tahoe area is filled with amazing activities for the whole family. For the skiiers and snowboarders, Heavenly Mountain Resort offers some great powder during the winter time. The Gondola at this resort is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tahoe. If you're looking for other outdoor options, though, such as hiking, mountain biking, or nature walks, be sure you hit up the Mount Tallac Trail, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, Lower Eagle Falls, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, or the Bijou Community Park (disc golf is popular here). The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena offers some great ice skating year round and Adventure Mountain is a great place to sled in the winter. Some other activities you might consider are hot-air-balloon rides, helicopter tours, boat tours, nature tours, wine-tasting tours, and heritage tours. For the educationally minded, Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum offer great historical information about the area. You can even catch your own dinner at the Tahoe Trout Farm! If being indoors is more your style, South Lake Tahoe has tons of great restaurants, bars, spas, galleries, and shops. Like the rest of Tahoe, there's plenty of access to kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddleboarding, and parasailing in this area, too. One of the best outdoor activities, though, is Regan Beach, which gets crowded but offers some great swimming and some stunning views. Oh, and you might drive a bit north to check out Fallen Leaf Lake, too! It's a great photo opportunity.
