We are satisfied with our stay & the staff are very helpful.
2 issues though:
1. The cabin was advertised as 3 bed & 1 bath which we needed since my mom was with us. It turns out it’s a 1 bedroom & a loft. It was a big inconvenience for my mom.
2. The cabinets has way too much things/clutter in them leaving very little storage. Because of the clutter it’s difficult to find things & know what could be missing.
We’ll most likely return but with less people next time.

This is a great cabin for a family or group of friends looking to stay close to South Lake Tahoe for a weekend getaway. We had a lovely and relaxing stay here.

My husband and I, along with another couple, decided to get away for the weekend. The cabin was clean and the bed's were comfortable. There was plenty of space and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook breakfast or dinner. We all really enjoyed our stay. I will definitely be staying here again.
A cozy cabin in a great neighborhood location. It worked perfectly for two of us and our dog. It had all the necessary amenities.
We are of an age that we remember fondly the cozy, mid-century, amateur-built A-frames of childhood. But at some point, those cabins tip from nostalgic to obsolete. So it is with this place. Too small for four people and two dogs, with a kitchen that's barely more than a wet bar, yet crammed full of pretty useless pots, pans, plates, bowls, and miscellany. Insulation is barely present, electrical is borderline scary, and the deck won't last two more winters. The owners have a dilapidated house on a fine property. Time to make a change.
appreciate the staff for allowing early check in and late check out. cabin had all the amenities and exactly as advertised. for the price id say this cabin is fair. a place to sleep with a roof over your head. nothing special. served its purpose.
The South Lake Tahoe area is filled with amazing activities for the whole family. For the skiiers and snowboarders, Heavenly Mountain Resort offers some great powder during the winter time. The Gondola at this resort is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tahoe. If you're looking for other outdoor options, though, such as hiking, mountain biking, or nature walks, be sure you hit up the Mount Tallac Trail, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, Lower Eagle Falls, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, or the Bijou Community Park (disc golf is popular here). The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena offers some great ice skating year round and Adventure Mountain is a great place to sled in the winter. Some other activities you might consider are hot-air-balloon rides, helicopter tours, boat tours, nature tours, wine-tasting tours, and heritage tours. For the educationally minded, Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum offer great historical information about the area. You can even catch your own dinner at the Tahoe Trout Farm! If being indoors is more your style, South Lake Tahoe has tons of great restaurants, bars, spas, galleries, and shops. Like the rest of Tahoe, there's plenty of access to kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddleboarding, and parasailing in this area, too. One of the best outdoor activities, though, is Regan Beach, which gets crowded but offers some great swimming and some stunning views. Oh, and you might drive a bit north to check out Fallen Leaf Lake, too! It's a great photo opportunity.
