We booked the house for the 4th of July weekend. It was okay. Good: The Tahoe Keys are amazing! Private beach access, 2 private pools, cool community for biking and SUP. We are definitely going back here. The back deck and the dock are SWEET! I could live in this backyard. Upstairs deck sweet also. As compared to the other houses in the area this one is very affordable. Bad: You get what you pay for. It was built in the 1970s and has no tint on the windows or insulation which means it was really hot in the daytime without ac. The house didnt have a fireplace as advertised, house doesn't have the blue paddle boat as advertised, we called the rental company and asked and they said it sunk.... lol. There was some minor damage before we got there but nothing crazy. Holes in a few doors, run down landscaping, fridge doesn't shut right. Didn't see one firework from the house. All in all it was just okay for us.

We loved waking up every morning to the picturesque view you see was awesome! My husband has back problems but I should say I was surprised when he said that the bed was actually comfortable. The kids had fun in the loft! We are 2 families and we were all comfortable. For what we paid for for this cabin during the winter time, it sure was worth it. Suggestions: -fridge door needs to be fixed, you have to kinda know how to close it properly, otherwise it won't close all the way -bathroom door downstairs need some work -couches need to be upgraded -it would be nice to have a patio heater; we couldn't stay out too long in the patio to enjoy the sunset because it was too cold

Wanted to surprise my husband for his 40th birthday. He loves the outdoors, fishing and boating. Really wanted to find a house on the water. He loved fishing from the boat dock and the view was fantastic! We spent more time looking out the back wall of windows than the tv! Everything was great and we would definitely rent again. Suggestion: Consider having some landscaping done as the yard makes the house look deserted and lower scale than it is. The weekend worked out perfectly!

A great location and ccould be a wonderful property. The property is in need of repair, there are broken bathroom doors, refrigerator is broken and makes a horrible noise. There are plumbing problems with the upstairs bath. None of the exterior lights work. The property is advertised as having a BBQ but dont be fooled the BBQ is barely standing on three legs and is actually dangerous if you were to have hot coals. I could go on but we will just leave it at this. The property is in need of some pretty simple repairs. But for the money I would say it is not the best deal on the Keys.

This was our first time renting a house for our Annual trip. It was perfect! The house had everything we needed. The views are beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the decks just enjoying the beautiful weather we had. We were only about 10 minutes away from all the action at the casinos also.

My two friends and I had a wonderful getaway at this house. The open living room and the picturesque deck made the cost of the house immediately worth it. The house definitely feels like a home and we found ourselves getting comfortable in it very quickly. There were a few draw backs: the house is fairly outdated, and a few areas were in need of small fixes (downstairs bathroom door, coffee pot, etc.). Also, the blue boat in the photo was underwater and full of mold when we were there. I imagine that's likely not always the case (and it was too cold to use it at the time anyway).Overall, I don't believe these took away from our experience at all. Also, the staff at Coldwell Banker were fantastic and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had (and were even willing to ship us an item we had accidentally left at the property!). Definitely added to the experience. I would and definitely hope to stay at this rental again!

The South Lake Tahoe area is filled with amazing activities for the whole family. For the skiiers and snowboarders, Heavenly Mountain Resort offers some great powder during the winter time. The Gondola at this resort is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tahoe. If you're looking for other outdoor options, though, such as hiking, mountain biking, or nature walks, be sure you hit up the Mount Tallac Trail, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, Lower Eagle Falls, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, or the Bijou Community Park (disc golf is popular here). The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena offers some great ice skating year round and Adventure Mountain is a great place to sled in the winter. Some other activities you might consider are hot-air-balloon rides, helicopter tours, boat tours, nature tours, wine-tasting tours, and heritage tours. For the educationally minded, Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum offer great historical information about the area. You can even catch your own dinner at the Tahoe Trout Farm! If being indoors is more your style, South Lake Tahoe has tons of great restaurants, bars, spas, galleries, and shops. Like the rest of Tahoe, there's plenty of access to kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddleboarding, and parasailing in this area, too. One of the best outdoor activities, though, is Regan Beach, which gets crowded but offers some great swimming and some stunning views. Oh, and you might drive a bit north to check out Fallen Leaf Lake, too! It's a great photo opportunity.
