This unit is a part of Buffalo Ridge/Buffalo Village
Buffalo Ridge condos are located in the residential area known as "Wildernest" , just off the Dillon-Silverthorne exit of I-70. Although it is close to the interstate, it is far enough that you will not see or hear the highway. The condo buildings sit along a ridge and overlook the valley where Lake Dillon is, and Keystone can be seen in the distance. The property is surrounded by the White River National Forest and deer, elk, moose, fox & even bear can often be seen from your balcony! The laundry facility is in the carport area of the building (coin-op). Carport included on ground level of the building.
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails are a short distance away. This complex borders the White River National Forest so you can cross-country ski and snowshoe in the winter or hike in the summer, starting practically from your door! The FREE Summit Stage bus stop is within walking distance and will take you to Keystone, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge or A-Basin plus many other towns in Summit County. Within minutes you can be at the Factory Stores, supermarket and great Summit County dining and entertainment venues. Twin Seasons Vacations manages several condos in this building, making it perfect for larger groups.
From the Dillon-Silverthorne exit, it is a short (3 mile) drive to this condo. Close to town, but far enough that you will not see or hear the interstate highway! At Buffalo Village, you will love the clubhouse facilities in the SAME BUILDING as your condo. The elevator will be appreciated after a day on the slopes too!
The pool, hot tub, sauna and game room are on the first and second floors of the building, and you can hop on the elevator to get there. Elsewhere in the Buffalo Village complex there are three more clubhouses, offering 2 additional swimming pools, 4 more hot tubs, and a racquetball court. A tennis court is also available on-site in the summer months!

As usual, very good.
But no DVD player, and the jacuzzi spa was not functional for 2 days.

The unit is dated and in need of updates. Mattresses were old and need replacing. Had issue with garbage disposal, when dish washer was draining It backed up the sink, we called maintenance and it was never repaired. My husband pulled it apart and removed the back up after 2 days of waiting. On a plus, bussing is wonderful. Getting around summit county is easy and on time. The staff was pleasant and easy to communicate with. Denver airport was closed due to blizzard and caused delays on arrival, the resort had specific instructions to get there great to have when driving is those conditions.

The room was fine but dated. We slept in the guest room and had to remove the blanket and spread because the smell was horrific.

Great in every way.

The condo worked perfectly for 3 adults and 2 kids! Comfortable beds, full kitchen, nice size living room and dining table. Only thing I would have liked: salt, pepper and olive oil provided. We brought the rest of our food.

Very clean well maintained unit. Pool and Hottub in the same building is a big plus!

The unit is very comfortable, with a great home-like feeling. Only complaints are the age of the appliances (looks like a first gen microwave), and the bathrooms are in need of a reno. For the price, I might look for a different unit.

We had a great time! We used wood fire place every evening and savor es the crackle and pop as we watched movies, played games, and read books. The hiking trails nearby proved to be another favorite of ours. We did go to the pool several times, it was always clean and in great working order. And we usually had it to ourselves. Overall we had a great experience!!

We would definitely stay here again. Price was perfect for our family to take a quick summer getaway to a beautiful area of the mountains.
We had a good experience. It was a great price, good location, phone staff was friendly and helpful. While we understood that they are individually owned, and updating is dependent upon the owner, there were some items lacking in the kitchen. We needed additional bags for the trash can (when you bring up 8, there's a lot of trash for the weekend). Overall, a relaxing weekend for our family and friends.

We traveled to Silverrthorne for a family wedding. We enjoyed the apartment very much especially the spacious living room and fireplace. The appliances are very old but do work well except the TV in the bedroom. We had family members that stayed in several other apartments in the same building and they had more amenities including DVD's and hair drier. But for the price you cannot bet the weekly rate.
We had a large group for a summit county family reunion. Ariel was awesome helping us with everything and answering questions.
We loved our time away to relax and enjoy the mountains. We always wish we could stay longer!
Our stay here was incredible. The condo was emaculate and came filled with everything we could possibly need to throughly enjoy our stay. The beds were great and the common area was cozy. The kitchen was fully equiped with pots and pans and everything else needed to cook and serve food. The two rooms worked great and were in excellent condition. I really can't say enough great things about our stay.
It was nice. The condo needs new blow dryers. In the common area, we tried to play pool, however, some of the balls were stuck in the pocket areas.
Have stayed in Buffalo Village Condos many times over the years. Especially like the elevators, and indoor pool/spa facilities.
The condominium is overall a great place to stay in a great, central location. The only drawback is that the master bed is awful. Our backs hurt for several days after our stay.
The condo was very nice and clean. The facilities were in good condition as well. The only thing I would suggest is to have extra towels available for use at the pool, or at least a number posted to call, so more clean towels can be requested.
The condo was nice and a good location. One complaint is that a dirty towel was left hanging on the master bedroom door--they need to be more thorough when cleaning the rooms. Also, they are laying new carpet in the hall, so when we opened the door to BB hallway it looked like a construction area. A sign to warn you would have been nice. Overall, it is a nice place and would recommend it for future stays.
Silverthorne is a hot spot for all things outdoors! Whether it's summer or winter, there's plenty of stuff to do in this location. Fishing is super popular in the area, particularly fly fishing. The Colorado Angler and Cutthroat Anglers are two great spots to pick up some bait and tackle, or get a great guided tour of the rivers and fishing in the area. Lily Pad Lake a great spot for fishing too. If shopping is your thing, hit up the Mountain Sports Outlet or the Outlets at Silverthorne. Rainbow Park is a great place to take the kids: it has a ball field, a skate park, tennis courts, and it's a great spot for dogs too! The Silverthorne Recreation Center is also a great indoor option, featuring a fitness center, a pool, basketball courts, and more. Lastly, here are a few key outdoor hot spots you must see when you visit: Blue River Trail, Lily Pad Lake, and the Ice Castles at Silverthorne. If golf is your thing, check out The Raven at Three Peaks.
