We were delighted from the moment we stepped in the door. Windows overlooking the forest and far away to Ten-Mile Range were delightful. Fox cavorting early in the morning were entertaining. Wonderful to have sturdy hangers in the closets, well-equipped and well-organized kitchen, and clean, clean, clean! Our only disappointment was the bed that's lumpy and uncomfortable.

The unit was the perfect size for one person (me) and offered the great views of the natural area, willows, evergreens out of all the windows. The only disappointing thing was no designated recycling basket/can in the unit. I have rented at Watch Hill and from Wildernest for over 30 years, and will always consider them when booking in Summit County!

Great experience. Windows on two sides of the unit allow you to watch the storms come in while you sit by the fireplace. There are woods behind the unit with trails through them. Great snow shoeing. You can see wildlife out the windows.

Great stay again

Wonderful condo with spectacular views, very relaxing
Sara K.on 08/01/2017
This condo is in great shape and very comfortable. The views from the balcony are lovely and there are trails right outside. Lots of wildlife including moose, fox, hummingbirds. Quiet area.

Wildernest has always been good to us. We visit multiple times per year for weekend getaways. Although, not the fault of Wildernest, the boiler went out in our unit, we came back from hiking to discover maintenance personnel in our unit. We were never called or contacted by prop mgmt and that was a bit frustrating. We were without hot water until 9 pm on this Saturday. We will visit again of course but some concession or discount for our next stay would have been a nice offer or gesture.

What a great place to have a couples get away!! We loved this small get away with awesome views!! The first night the people up stairs were a little loud but that had nothing to do with the condo itself. Will be back to this one again!
Geno L.on 05/27/2017
Awesome as always
Geno L.on 11/28/2016
Great little getaway as usual at Wildernest.
Timothy A.on 09/23/2016
Very clean and cozy. Great views through windows on two sides. There is a unit above this one so you can hear the neighbors a bit.
Darren B.on 07/20/2016
I would stay here again only if there were no upstairs occupants. I am a very sound sleeper and was continuously awoken from footsteps/noise from the unit above. My wife and daughter actually purchased earplugs in an attempt to get a good night's sleep.
Justin J.on 03/16/2016
The location was perfect! Beautiful views off back patio and from inside widows of the mountains trees and wild life. Staff was curious and very attentive to our needs. Great reccomendations on places to ski and eat. We would definitely stay there again.
Alice C.on 03/06/2016
As always we love coming to Colorado for skiing. We book with Wilderness because we enjoy staying on Wilderness mountain. We plan on returning next year. We found lots of great places to dine and enjoyed skiing Copper Mountain.
Kristine G.on 10/09/2015
My wife and I have been staying here every years for the last 3. We love it here!! The only complaint I have is that the kitchen knives are so dull that they are almost unusable. Please sharpen or provide something to sharpen. Other than that nit-picky thing we enjoy it very much.
Bob K.on 08/10/2015
Watch Hill 215 was a great place for us. The views were amazing and the accommodations were great. Everything we needed was available, it was very clean and the quality of furnishings were superb.
Jodie R.on 07/14/2015
This unit is beautiful. A corner unit with many windows to enjoy the view which is breathtaking. Since the unit backs up to national forest so there were no close neighbors or building to impede the view of nature. We were very happy with the stay

We got married at the beginning of May and stayed in this condo for two nights. It has a great view and we were very pleased with the space.
Alice C.on 03/25/2015
The property was clean, and in a good location ( love being on top of the mountain. The deco was updated and looked beautiful.

Having stayed at many Wilderness Properties over the years unit is at the top of our list...great space, great features, great location with great views...makes this unit, well, absolutely GREAT!
Rocky G.on 10/10/2014
My wife and I love staying here. We stayed last year and couldn’t wait to come back. The view is absolutely spectaclular!! We love booking in October as there is hardly anyone else around and the solitude is magnificent. The only bad thing about our stay was a restaurant called Fiesta Jalisco. The food was cold and absolutely horrendous. I was up sick all night.
Melanie B.on 06/30/2014
Unit provided a fantastic view. Comfortable furnishings and a lovely walking trail out back.
Paul M.on 02/10/2014
My brother and I were travelling to Colorado for the first time to snowboard. We were not sure what to expect of the mountains or the travel time to the different resorts in the area. We were very happy with the chalet, and proximity to the different resorts. The room was very clean, and the parking lot was always plowed. We will recommend this property to our friends who will most likely be joining us next year.
Bruce C.on 01/31/2014
Fun and cozy
Could not unlock front door but rep was out in 20mins with spare keys. Glad I had mobile phone to call her. Had to buy mugs as only small cups. Poor internet when reported to the management company they gave me the telephone number of the internet company for me to report. Unit was nicely furnished with comfortable bed and seatees. Not sure I would want to sleep on bed Seatee as fridge noises.
We enjoy the service and accomodations with Wilderness that we try to make sure we get the same unit each year. Location, staff service and rental units are great.

we arrived late and the check in was easy. the property was great and fit our vacation. We ate in the condo and it had all the utensils we needed.
Laura D.on 11/15/2013
The room we had was excellent, clean, breath-taking views, and very homey. The only complaints that we had were that the DVD player didn't work and that there were no utensils for the grill, we had to try to make it work with some forks. We would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice play to stay if they are going to participate in winter activities or if you just need some time away!
Kathie B.on 11/07/2013
It was a great place to spend for our vacation. You had all the ameneties that we needed. thx Terri Mihlbauer
Molly K.on 10/26/2013
Everything was great with the exception that I had to buy towells because there weren't any and when I went to cook there were no pots,.
WH216 again suits our Annual Sept Summit County Vacation. Reluctant to rave & recommend unit too much as might cause loosing our availability to others! Only 2 minor recommendations a full length mirror perhaps behind bdrm door, too many deco pillows on bed inefficient use of Ltd bdrm & closet space difficult 2 know where to put them out of the way w/ suitcases and walking around bed.
A great mountain getaway. Very comfortable and super views from the living areas. It rained one afternoon while we were there for the two days but that was good news for us Colorado residents since the fire danger is high this summer. It helped the firefighters at the peak to fire near Frisco which is about 25 miles away. We will return.
The condo was very clean and comfortable for two of us. The BR was almost completely "consumed" by the king bed. Was fine for our needs, but if we had others sharing the unit and had not been able to use the living room for storing extra ski clothing, my opinion might not be as positive. Our only other complaint was the wooden steps coming down from the parking lot. We had no mishaps, but they are relatively steep, hold snow and left us with and uneasy feeling every time we entered or exited. They seem like a poor choice of material for a ski lodge. Perhaps a "grate" type material that allows snow and ice to melt through would be a better choice.
We have stayed here multiple times for a quiet space away from the tourist traps (but close enough if you're into that sort of thing). You can't beat the view. They are very accommodating, and this was the 2nd time we were granted a late check-out, however if you request this, be up and ready to explain at the regular check-out time because communication with maintenance about late check-out is unreliable :)
We absolutely loved the view from this condo! Also liked the seclusion- couldn't hear any street traffic. Clean, modern, comfortable furniture/bed. Loved it!
Perfect for a couple. Living area is spacious; bedroom, closet and bath are small. Steep wooden stairs lead down to the unit. Easy access to many trails of varying levels of difficulty. One afternoon a moose came right up to the window to strip Aspen leaves. A little later a female moose and calf came up the hill and proceeded on through the parking lot. Same evening a beautiful fox took a hike on the trail visible from the deck.
We really enjoyed our stay and have stayed in the same unit for the past 2 years.
The Unit is absolutely beautiful! We chose a weekend just after the Holidays which turned out to be perfect. It is very close to a trail perfect for snowshoeing. We walked to the trail, then snowshoed our way into the woods which was well marked. It is close to ice skating, skiing, and fun microbreweries.
Condo is spacious and well furnished. End unit is especially nice with lots of windows and natural light. Great deck with sunshine and beautiful mountain and wilderness views.
This room was fantastic. The views were wonderful and the location was great. The only downside was that there were no curtains or blinds in the living/sleeper sofa area, so my young daughters woke up with the crack of dawn each morning. It would be perfect if they just put up some curtains to block the morning light.
Really enjoyed the condo. The location was excellent and the view beautiful. Only minor problem was the sofa and chair seemed to be breaking down and were sort of uncomfortable for old people like us to sit in.
beautiful view! plenty of space to hang out as a group
We have stayed in this unit twice-it is perfect for 2 people-I know there is a sleeper couch, but we didn't need it. Laundry room is conveniently located next door and as a corner unit, this place has lots of glass and nice views. Just be warned that property is a pretty far up Wildernest Rd., so it can take some extra time to get up here from Silverthrone I-70, especially during winter weather-but you get used to it.
Traveled over 800 miles during the 6 days and experienced the most spectacular fall colors I've ever seen in Colorado (Rocky Mtn Glenwood Canyon Leadville) but if we had elected to just sit & stay in WH216 we still would have seen the fall beauty just from the unit's windows! And yes I saw the fox who just stayed put & let me take photo after photo of him as I stood on top of complex's driveway steps but maintained & respected him his space to be the wild creature that he is.
Great condo with gorgeous views. Quiet getaway. Saw wildlife from the deck. Backs to forest so feel like you are in the mountains away from it all. Very nicely decorated & comfortable.
The place was lovely. The view was beautiful. The place nicer than the photos. We would definitely come back.
Flawless experience, great location, loved it!
Silverthorne is a hot spot for all things outdoors! Whether it's summer or winter, there's plenty of stuff to do in this location. Fishing is super popular in the area, particularly fly fishing. The Colorado Angler and Cutthroat Anglers are two great spots to pick up some bait and tackle, or get a great guided tour of the rivers and fishing in the area. Lily Pad Lake a great spot for fishing too. If shopping is your thing, hit up the Mountain Sports Outlet or the Outlets at Silverthorne. Rainbow Park is a great place to take the kids: it has a ball field, a skate park, tennis courts, and it's a great spot for dogs too! The Silverthorne Recreation Center is also a great indoor option, featuring a fitness center, a pool, basketball courts, and more. Lastly, here are a few key outdoor hot spots you must see when you visit: Blue River Trail, Lily Pad Lake, and the Ice Castles at Silverthorne. If golf is your thing, check out The Raven at Three Peaks.
