The condo was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped to make some basic meals, the beds and pillows were comfy and the entire place was very clean. Having access to the hot tub was great to ease our sore muscles from skiing! I would stay here again for sure. The condo is located near the top of the hill so the drive up from the town area is a bit of a trek. This particular unit is on the third floor - so be prepared to hike some steps too. Both of these things didn’t really bother me - just something to be aware of!

This condo is dated. The beds are uncomfortable, a lot mechanical sounds from plumbing and heating units. Very hard to sleep! Beware that the unit is on the 3 level. The view is spectacular! The location is good.

The unit was lovely. Room enough for everyone. Worked out very well.

Excellent! Our check in was fast and smooth, we had a very spacious lay out with comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Two minor issues, kitchen light switch is touchy and we couldn't get the Firepleace to work.

was our 3rd weekend to stay there. Really enjoyed the unit. Curtains up made it really nice.
Steve W.on 01/23/2015
had a good time. Curtains would be nice though and could use a dish cloth in kitchen to wash dishes.
Steve W.on 01/16/2015
enjoyed it but there were no curtains on the windows hope they will be up the next time we use it

CONDO WAS JUST FINE, WHAT WE WOULD EXPECT, WE BROUGHT CLOTHES AND FOOD AND WERE ABLE TO LIVE COMFORTABLE FOR THE WEEK. WELL FURNISHED CONDO, AND EVERYTHING WORKED FINE. ONLY SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO SUPPLY MORE TOILET PAPER AND GARBAGE BAGS, ETC. IT IS ANNOYING TO RUN OUT OF ITEMS EVERYONE KNOWS YOU WILL NEED.

My family, which is 6 young adults, my husband, and myself, stayed at Wildernest for the weekend of the 4th of July. We had such a wonderful stay! Our condo was clean and ready for us, decorated and set up in just a way that made us feel at home. We will return for a future family vacation without a doubt! We greatly enjoyed the club house also! One of our favorite vacations we have yet to experience! Thank you so much for being a large part of that!

We enjoyed our stay at Timber Ridge 429. View was awesome. The location was great too. The only negatives were the refrigerator leaked and ruined a lot of our food. I read in other posts about the fridge but assumed that would have been fixed by now, but it wasn't and it was unfortunate. We checked in on a Sunday and the rental company gave us a key...turns out it was just the key to the ski locker and not the unit. After calling, waiting, calling again for 2 hours...we contacted the on-site manager who finally let us in. The rental companies 'after-hours' number was worthless. Other than these less-than-ideal issues, we enjoyed our family time and skiing!

Property was great. The kitchen was well stocked and it had plenty of room for all of us. The water pressure in the upstairs bathroom was the only problem in the condo. In the clubhouse, one of the hot tubs and the dry sauna were not working.

Great condo, a couple things could be fixed though. One of the burners on the stove didn't work and the freezer leaks water down into the fridge, gets your food in the fridge all wet! Also, we had a very hard time getting the gas fireplace to turn on, the knob was broken and the pilot light was out. Just small things, but they do matter when you are staying somewhere for a weekend or longer! The kids loved the loft and everything else was great!
Always a nice getaway
Always a great time.
Great for a big family, fun clubhouse!
Property management was awesome! We left our phone charger in the condo when we packed up. Once we were home, we called Wildernest about it. They found the charger and mailed it to our home! Great customer service!
Had a great time relaxing and spending time with kids and grand kids. Living room a little tight but dining for 8 plus counter space is great. Had everything needed for cooking and eating in condo. Great set-up with three bathrooms. Have stayed at Wildernest before and highly recommend to others.
We have been coming to ski Summit County for years and will only stay at Wildernest properties. Busy schedules only allow for 3 days ski and 2 travel--Winter skiing is always a guess--this year first 2 days of major winter storm, we skied but left condo later and came in earlier. TR 429 was great-very spacious for our group of 6. Gas fireplace was great since we got about a foot of snow a day and didn't have to wrestle logs. The last day was beautiful--sun shined, wind layed, slopes groomed--perfect. The view from condo was great--when we finally saw it. Ski trip 2014 was a great time--Thanks
We had a good time. Enjoyed the view, but not the 3 flights of stairs.
We have been timeshare owners of another Timber Ridge unit since the 1980's. We rented a second unit this time to accommodate our daughter, her husband and their five children. The unit was very nice and we had a wonderful time, so I hate to mention anything negative, but feel I must address two things: The mattresses on the top bunks in the loft were too thick, which made them higher than the guard rails -- we could not put children up there, so had to improvise a bed on the floor (this is really a safety issue when renting to people with children); and several of the children got rashes from the over-chlorination of the water in the hot tubs and pool. (This has happened to us occasionally in past years -- wish it could be corrected.)
Other than these two issues, a great vacation!
Silverthorne is a hot spot for all things outdoors! Whether it's summer or winter, there's plenty of stuff to do in this location. Fishing is super popular in the area, particularly fly fishing. The Colorado Angler and Cutthroat Anglers are two great spots to pick up some bait and tackle, or get a great guided tour of the rivers and fishing in the area. Lily Pad Lake a great spot for fishing too. If shopping is your thing, hit up the Mountain Sports Outlet or the Outlets at Silverthorne. Rainbow Park is a great place to take the kids: it has a ball field, a skate park, tennis courts, and it's a great spot for dogs too! The Silverthorne Recreation Center is also a great indoor option, featuring a fitness center, a pool, basketball courts, and more. Lastly, here are a few key outdoor hot spots you must see when you visit: Blue River Trail, Lily Pad Lake, and the Ice Castles at Silverthorne. If golf is your thing, check out The Raven at Three Peaks.
