This is or second year staying at the Turtle Cove house. It was a great experience. The one bathroom issue was attended to by Remax associates. Our only suggestions would be to provide a gas grill instead of the electric one. The electric grill is very inefficient. It took me 2 hours to make wings. Also the televisions should be upgraded. Overall our stay was wonderful and we are returning next year.

We had an amazing experience. Everything was great: Although there was an issue with a pipe leaking Remax handled it quickly and efficiently. The electric grill does take awhile to heat up but once it does it works fine. We totally enjoyed ourselves and we will be back next year. Remax employees are amazing!

When we arrived at the property, we found it very clean and exactly as advertised. It was refreshing to arrive to find exactly what I was thinking that I was booking. I've had issues at other places with over photoshopped images that make a not so nice unit look amazing, only to arrive and be disappointed. The management team was very polite and answered all of my questions. The check in process was super smooth, there was far less traffic than the offices on Periwinkle that I have rented from in the past. There were no long lines of people, fighting for a place to park, or steps to climb. I'd give both the house and the management team 5 stars.

We love Sanibel Island with it's beautiful beaches, bike paths and conservation lands. You can be busy or quiet as you like.

Great home and location. Close to beach and updated. Would enjoy a return visit.
Beautiful home. Our 25th holiday on Sanibel since 1990! A superclean home, extremely well equipped kitchen. A great view. A walk to the beach. There are only two things (there are always things, but....) if you would like to have an "Island feeling" inside, you will only find this in the bathrooms which looked brandnew and in the "Florida" colours. The livingroom(s) and bedrooms give you a feeling that you are at home in home country (the Netherlands) or somewhere up in the north in the USA. If the interior/furniture would be brighter, things would have been 1000% instead of 100%! And.... coming from Holland...... two bikes? Too small for us and this was the first time we did not make biketours on the Island. Besides this... we loved our stay here and we will be back!
As soon as you start the scenic drive over the Sanibel Causeway to Sanibel Island, you know you're in a one of a kind spot. To your left you'll see the historic Lighthouse and to the right a uniquely preserved natural area. The J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge offers guided tours, wildlife viewing, educational trams rides and more! And of course there are great beaches, like Bowman's Beach, Tarpon Bay Beach, Blind Pass Beach, and more. The island is known for its amazing seashells that can be found all over. There is even a museum dedicated to seashells - The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum, one of the top attractions here. Visitors looking to get truly up close and personal with the sea can dive down to the USS Mohawk CGC Veterans Memorial Reef and see a real sunken ship. Special experiences such as this are why Sanibel is like no place else on earth!
