The Palms is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Located in the heart of Orange Beach. Skip the traffic on Hwy 59 and take the Foley Beach Express to Hwy 161, turn left on the beach highway and The Palms is less than a mile to the left. Publix and several restaurants are located minutes away. The Palms is a premiere gulf front complex centrally located in Orange Beach, AL making it convenient to shopping, restaurants, and all kinds of recreation. This low density complex features many great amenities, including a beach-front pool, outdoor grilling area, workout room, sauna, lighted tennis courts, and a heated indoor pool that happens to be steps from the door of our unit.
It features a Gulf front swimming pool, heated indoor pool, lighted tennis court, well equipped exercise room and sauna. The sparkling aqua blue waters & sugar white sand are only footsteps away on the private beach boardwalk. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are available.
The Palms is situated in a prime location with just a few short blocks to three large grocery stores, four pharmacies, restaurants, movie rentals, spas and shopping. The Tanger Outlet Mall offers great retail therapy with over 120 brand name stores for those occasional rainy afternoons. The Wharf shopping, dining and entertainment complex is just 10 minutes away. It features an amphitheater for regularly scheduled concerts, more shopping and a movie theater. Perdido Pass offers a new area just for fishermen. Marinas, glass bottom boats, chartered deep sea fishing, golf (big boy and miniature), Alabama Birding Trail, amusement parks and water theme parks are all just a few short minutes away.

We loved the location of this condo. Having a corner unit with the extra balcony space was wonderful. Bender Realty was really nice to work with. Friendly and prompt with any question or need we had. There were a few maintanence issues. The hall bathroom did not have a showerhead, microwave handle broken, and the handle was gone from the master bedroom outside sliding door. None of these diminished our vacation, but worth noting so the owner can attend to repairs. Thanks for an awesome vacation!

Our stay was simply lovely! The condo was perfect, the balcony was perfect, the weather and beach were perfect. The sweet ladies at Bender Realaty were very friendly! I would stay there again in a second!

The condo layout was very nice,but the huge balcony was tha bomb.There is a Wal Mart Market right down the street.This is one we will probably try to rent again.

The location, view, and beach could not have been any better. The condo we had on the other hand need some work. The mattresses are horrible, the furniture is old and worn out especially the hide-a-bed and broken recliner, the baths need some grout work and the ceilings are cracked in about every room. Bender Realty was wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. The coffee pot quit one morning so I called their office and they had me a brand new one waiting the same morning. The only complaint I have with Bender was having to pick up and drop off the keys on the other end of town.

Beautiful location, lovely 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo with superb view of the beach. We arrived to find the building was under construction and renovation in progress, we were not informed about this situation prior to arrival. The condo floors were very dirty with layers of dust and hair, I called the office, the cleaning team arrived at once and the floors were "cleaned", there were still dirty after the cleaning team left, They did not clean in the corners and under tables, baseboards are caked with dust and dirt. Carpet are in poor condition, areas need repainting. Pipes in the building make noise. We were very uncomfortable with the safety issue presented by the inability to lock the entry door to the condo from the inside therefore anyone with the code could enter.
Our trip was great. Very easy check in. We did have an issue with the unit smelling like smoke when we first arrived but we contacted Bender Realty and they sent someone over quickly with a machine to filter the air. It worked perfectly and we didn't have another problem with that. If I had any suggestions, I would say that the shower head could be replaced in the hall bathroom. It worked fine but the actual shower head is missing. We didn't report this because it wasn't a big deal for us. The condo was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this unit.
This property is managed by a realty company which has very antiquated check-in policies. You are required to go to the realty office to sign a paper in order to get the code for the door lock. This means that you have to go to West beach in Gulf Shores which is on the opposite end of the beach from the condo. This also means that you can not take the beach expressway and it will take an extra 1.5 hours to wait in the traffic into Gulf Shores just to sign that paper. I would recommend renting directly from an owner and skipping the property with a realtor management company.

Th view and location was killer. The condo needs updated desperately. Mold in all 3 showers. New rails were installed on balcony. The center rails legs all had a pieces of tiles missing everytime you stepped there you felt like you we're falling off the balcony. All other units have replaced the missing tiles. Bender leaves you no extra toilet paper or garbage bags or paper towels. The washer and dryer makes so much noise it scares you.
