I enjoyed the house and the area -- the house was well maintained and in good condition. Dishes and kitchen equipment were excellent, but sheets and towels showed wear (and were washed with a scent that I was allergic to!). The house cleaning was not perfect and when I complained to globe they insisted the only way to get someone to vacuum the dirty rug was if I paid $150 for a cleaning service! That was ridiculous. I also had a problem because the street was being repaved while I was there and Globe did not respond to my requests for alternate parking help.Los Angeles

This house was perfect for my husband, two kids and their spouses. It was beautifully maintained and as we are quiet people, the residential location was perfect.Los Angeles
This newly renovated second-floor guest house is stylish, chic, and utterly unique. It is on one of Venice’s walk-streets just a block from the ocean and right on the border between Venice and Santa Monica. It is a perfect home base for exploring both of these beach communities, as well as the greater Los Angeles area. Climb the stairs to the double French front door and enter a one-of-a-kind accommodation. Polished wood floors and maple paneling on the walls and ceiling, along with the contemporary furnishings, create a warm inviting atmosphere. The bright, spacious living room and comfy leather couches welcome you in.
There is a flat-screen TV with cable, and wireless internet makes keeping in touch easy. The modern kitchen features a full side-by-side refrigerator-freezer, 4-burner stove, built-in dishwasher and microwave oven. The stainless steel counter tops are easy to keep clean, and the natural oak cabinets are fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and glassware. There is a dining bar with a striking embossed diamond-patterned top that seats 5. There is even a washer and dryer for your convenience. A corner desk provides a great place to work, and there is ample closet space fronted with unusual bamboo patterned glass doors. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub with a European style hand-held shower.
The stainless steel topped vanity with a modern glass bowl sink, embossed walls, and bamboo-patterned glass window compliment the overall décor. Up a spiral staircase is the second-floor master bedroom. It boasts a queen bed and another living area with its own leather seating and flat-screen TV. There is plenty of room up here. There is a reserved parking space in the downstairs garage. Take the two-minute walk down Ozone Avenue to the beach and the renowned Ocean Front Walk. Stroll along the boardwalk with its array of shops, street vendors, performers, and local characters of all kinds. Stop at one of the open-air cafés for a drink or a bite to eat – the perfect place for some world-class people watching. Of course you can always just laze on the warm sand and take a refreshing dip in the sparkling Pacific.
This place couldn’t be better located - steps away from the beach and the main shopping streets of Venice. Appealing design; very open concept means that there is not a lot of privacy so better for families. Lots of windows, several with ocean views - limited curtains and blinds means that you can expect to be waking up early. Great customer service. Master bed was quite hard.Los Angeles

Hi There, While I hate giving bad reviews, I feel compelled to do so on this occasion. As an airbnb host of2vacation rentals, I know a bit about what guests expect. The unit we booked was supposed to have a loft space according to the pictures. That is not what we were given. The front door required no code to open even though we were told that it did. Given the fact that there are some rough individuals roaming around the area, we did not feel secure. There was only 2 small rolls of toilet paper so we had to go out and buy more. Beside lamp burnt out. No hair dryer. No tea or kettle to make tea. Comforter for sofabed did not have a cover and is clearly not cleaned after each use which is standard. Linens were sub standard with stained pillows beneath the pillow covers. The unit was clearly a lipstick reno and not done well at all. The photos look way nicer than the actual space. These may seem like petty complaints but it all goes towards being left with a negative feeling about a place. Guests like to feel at home in a space. This unit does not feel like anyone's home, more like a "throw together" rental to make money with very little effort put into creating a nice and welcoming space. The management company in charge of this rental did not have good communication with us. I did not receive checkin instructions until asking twice and finally received them the day before. We did not receive any communication after checkin or at all during our stay to see that everything was going ok.Los Angeles
This one-bedroom beauty is located in a quiet, upscale, residential neighborhood on one of the most charming streets in the heart of Venice. City smart and by the sea, it’s also only 4 blocks from Abbot Kinney Blvd., the hippest shopping street in full of galleries, boutique stores, restaurants and nightlife. And it’s only a 15-minute walk to the beach, easy for biking, rollerblading, surfing and relaxing under the sun!
This loft-style, one-bedroom apartment is located in a quiet Venice residential neighborhood. It is walking distance to all the conveniences of Lincoln Boulevard, yet set back enough to be quiet and private. Located on the back half of a private, family home lot above the garage, the apartment has a private, secure garage entrance and parking.
Bamboo wood floors and high ceilings, along with many windows and recessed lights, give the apartment a friendly, open feel. The living room features a 46” flat screen TV and DVD player. Dining area has a table that can seat four, and an office desk provides a tranquil and spacious work area.
Kitchen has a gas stove, dishwasher and microwave, and all basic cooking essentials. Bathroom is located off the living room and has a nicely tiled tub/shower combo.
Bedroom has a queen size bed and dresser and good closet space. Balcony can be accessed from both the dining area and bedroom and has 2 Adirondack chairs and a slate floor. View is of the trees and hedges bordering the property and the family yard.
Guests also have access to a super-capacity, front-loading washer and dryer, located in the garage. Entrance is safe and well lit. Guests should be aware that there is a large, friendly dog on the property that lives in the family home in front.
Square Footage: 700 Square Feet.
Owners were friendly enough but overall not particularly happy with the management of this site. Site was generally peacefully quiet with one poor afternoon of neighbours dogs barking for an extended period of time. Wifi cut out continuously, pre-arranged items such as bicycles / bedding / dishwashing cloths not on site upon arrival and in left with the impression that follow up efforts to provide were weak. Would recommend but with reservations. Place could use sprucing up - i.e. knives mostly didn't cut, broken sofa bed, laundry room and general yard area would benefit from tidying up and removal of extraneous items, floor was not particularly clean - resulted in guests leaving shoes on most of the time.Los Angeles
This beautiful studio apartment is located on the second floor of a completely redone, six-unit apartment building and has a fantastic private outdoor balcony surrounded by bamboo and lots of green. A modern bathroom includes a soak tub combined with shower with a large rain showerhead. The apartment has a large mirrored floor to ceiling closet, a 37-inch flat screen TV with cable and HBO, DVR player as well as high-speed, wireless Internet. The apartment does not come with an assigned parking space; street parking only.
We really enjoyed our week long stay in Unit F. The location is very close to Abbot Kinney and nearby Beach and Canals and Main Street. If you are coming from a larger place, it takes a day to acclimate to it, but it soon felt 'homey' to us. The staff were very helpful when we called with minor concern. The balcony is great for taking the air. can't wait to go back.Los Angeles

I stayed in Westwood at the condo! It was very amazing, clean and quaint! It was located in a great area and quiet! I would stay again if I could! :)Los Angeles
This stunning contemporary stand-alone studio with sleeping alcove is just steps from Venice Beach. It has a spectacular loft ceiling, hardwood floors and small kitchenette. Located in a prime location, tucked away just 50 yards off the famous Venice boardwalk and the beach, it is nonetheless still extremely private and quiet. This one-of-a-kind 500sf home was written up in the LA Times and the NY Times for its architectural merit. It is also featured in the coffee table book "Small Urban Interiors".
The adventure begins with the unique entrance. You approach up a set of stairs and across a redwood bridge to your private front door. Enter into a room filled with light streaming through the many carefully placed windows and skylights. A set of French doors opens to a balcony facade with side ocean view. The angles worked into the design allow light to playfully fill the space. The cathedral beam ceiling soars to 18ft. The floors are of clear fir hardwood. An L-shaped, built in desk doubles as a dining table and can seat three. The small kitchenette has two stainless mini-refrigerators, microwave, sink, and hot plate. The living area has a 50" 3-D flat screen TV with DVD player and a 7ft. sleeper sofa which opens to a queen size bed. In the evening, multiple dimmers and lighting options allow guests to choose among multiple lighting moods.
A step up leads to the sleeping area, which can be closed off from the rest of the studio with curtains to block out the light for sleeping on the comfortable full sized bed dressed with high count linens. The large bathroom contains a step in tiled shower with rain shower head and a pedestal sink.
The studio also has high speed wireless internet, a thermostat controlled wall heater, and private phone for exclusive guest use, with free unlimited local and long-distance domestic calls. There is a laundry room on the premises. Exit the property and you are 50 paces from the center of the boardwalk and the beach.
The apartment is very stylish and comfortable. The location is great, steps from the Pacific. Being at the beach, we walked the beach, with outings for some meals. We especially liked Zinque's happy hour that featured small plates as well as drinks. And the breakfast at Three Squares with pastries from their bakery next door. We also went to the Getty Villa -- well-worth the short drive, and even had lunch on their terrace.
My sister was with me, and we wanted to sleep separately, one of us on the wide couch. There were no linens for the couch, and I called Global for linens. Sheets were delivered but no blanket. I called again and a blanket was delivered and the tv, which for us was indiosyncratic, was fixed so we could watch it. Some of the amenities listed in the Global book were not in the apartment, including extra linens, towels, beach towels, and things under the kitchen sink, if needed.
I'd read about the NYTimes article on the apartment that said there were sweeping views of the ocean, which was what I'd expected. Instead, buildings had since grown up that blocked all views except of other buildings. As a result, all the windows except the skylight are frosted, so the apartment has quite an enclosed feeling. The bathroom is large and light, and the living area also gets good illumination during the day through frosted glass and the skylight, and at night the interior lighting is excellent in all the rooms. There is no parking space, so that means paying attention to street signs and moving the car when necessary. I never had trouble finding a place to park but you have to be alert and responsible about where you leave your car.
We'd rent this place again.Los Angeles

We had business in the area so we stayed here for a week. Cute little one bedroom. Close to everything. Laundry in house was great. We didn't cook- there were too many great restaurants to try- but it was fairly well appointed.
This 1-bedroom, 1 bath that sleeps up to 3 with amenities including Air Conditioning, Clothes Dryer, Hair Dryer, Heating, Internet, Linens Provided, Living Room, Towels Provided, Washing Machine, Satellite / Cable, Television.

This was a very clean, safe property that was fully disappointing.
From the completely flat, hard, bouncy mattress to the cheap bed linens to the queen-sized comforter on a king-sized bed to the non-functioning television in the living room (no cable, no sat, no Roku) to the 1.25 rolls of toilet paper for two people for four days, to the near impossibility of finding parking in the off season, to the porch with a view of a wall - this place disappointed on nearly every level.Los Angeles

Unit is close to the Boardwalk and beach, private parking all a definite plus. Place overall was somewhat clean but had a dirt film on everything from the counters to the bathroom. Pretty sure the dirt was just being close to the ocean but you could tell it hadn't been rented in a while and had that old musty smell. They provided only one set of bath towels (thank god for the two beach towels we found in the closet) one roll of toliet paper, one ****** comforter, and the heater didn't work. It was almost worth it in some some respects like the location, but I will not rent from these folks again, there's just too many other better deals in the same area. They need to clean this place up better before renting it and provide some basic amenities such as two rolls of toliet paper, extra blanket, and some towels.Los Angeles
