This was great except for one material misrepresentation: Internet Access. Over the course of 6 days the internet connection worked about twice and the connection was super slow, slower than dial up, I mean like press send on an email then go wash the dishes and come check back if it went through yet. It was unusable, or else for the far majority of the time non-existent. So, I was often driving across town to go to starbucks. When choosing between options, internet access is an essential part of my decision. I wish I chose the other options I had, the ones that weren't lying about it. I did go see the realtor who holds this property on someone's behalf, and they called to complain, but its not really their internet or property probably so there wasn't anything they could do really. I was deceived.

Pretty much a stinky dump 60s interior, couches you didn't want to sit on. Noisy heater . Stunk .. Bad like smoke and toilet air freshener - don't go here

Four of us stayed in this condo for 3 nights before Christmas. We booked this place in a very short notice. Coldwell Banker was very pleasant to deal with. I always prefer to deal with a reputable agency and CB was great. We picked up the keys from the box outside the office and headed to the condo. We were pleasantly surprised with the location and how cozy and comfortable the place is. It was also very quiet. The gas fireplace was awesom. The bedrooms, baths, kitchen and living/dining rooms were also very comfortable, clean and cozy. The complex was very quiet and clean also. We did not use the hot tub, but it was available and very close to the unit. The only issue was that they provided one set of keys instead of two. The dishwasher was also loose (not connected to the above counter), but functional. The condo is very close to ski run blvd. which was very convenient to ski rental shops and heavenly. We will definitely go back.
This property has a great location with plenty of parking. The price for a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo was great. The pool was small but nice, the hot tub was very small. However, the carpet condition was poor, the light switches didn't all work, the refridgerator has broken shelves, and the smell was overwhelming. There were too many air fresheners and when we set them outside the smell of old smoke became apparent. We had difficulties with the TV reception too and there is not a DVD player in the living area. I would hesitate to recommend this condo, but for those on a budget it would suffice.

The South Lake Tahoe area is filled with amazing activities for the whole family. For the skiiers and snowboarders, Heavenly Mountain Resort offers some great powder during the winter time. The Gondola at this resort is one of the most popular attractions in all of Tahoe. If you're looking for other outdoor options, though, such as hiking, mountain biking, or nature walks, be sure you hit up the Mount Tallac Trail, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, Lower Eagle Falls, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, or the Bijou Community Park (disc golf is popular here). The South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena offers some great ice skating year round and Adventure Mountain is a great place to sled in the winter. Some other activities you might consider are hot-air-balloon rides, helicopter tours, boat tours, nature tours, wine-tasting tours, and heritage tours. For the educationally minded, Valhalla at Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum offer great historical information about the area. You can even catch your own dinner at the Tahoe Trout Farm! If being indoors is more your style, South Lake Tahoe has tons of great restaurants, bars, spas, galleries, and shops. Like the rest of Tahoe, there's plenty of access to kayaking, canoeing, boating, paddleboarding, and parasailing in this area, too. One of the best outdoor activities, though, is Regan Beach, which gets crowded but offers some great swimming and some stunning views. Oh, and you might drive a bit north to check out Fallen Leaf Lake, too! It's a great photo opportunity.
