Hale Maluhia is a one-of-a-kind beachfront home on Hanalei Bay and is perfect for honeymooners or a small party looking for a luxurious getaway. This is a fabulous home is located on Hanalei Bay. Hale Maluhia is everything that it is described to be. Its close to town, right on the beach, and private even though your next to the parking lot for public beach access, and houses on either side. The back yard is well kept and has a secluded feel, and the house is clean and has everything you need. We barbequed and lit the tiki torches and kicked back. The neighbor called the manager to report that they thought the torches had been lit and we had left, which was not the case. So you are being watched, but you really don't feel like it. Over all I give it a thumbs up. The managers at Hawaii Life are at your service, and respond quickly if you have any issues.Hanalei 5.97 miles

The home was expertly designed and decorated and a joy to be in. We enjoyed all parts of the wrap around deck and the grounds, particularly while playing hide and go seek with our preschooler. This place truly made our vacation relaxing. Excellent location, fully equipped kitchen with everything a home needs and more, beach towels and chairs, a cooler... you name it. This must be someone's full time home and I am so pleased they were willing to share it with us. Stunning view of the mountains, lots of windows, mobile AC units worked sufficiently to keep us comfortable. Large home overall with excellent decor and furnishings. My entire experience with the VRBO rental process was quite pleasant from beginning to nearly the end. Communication was good, the property as advertised. I did note a broken lounge chair that I notified management of. We bought and left some beach toys and a popular guidebook to Kauai for future renters to use.
I was however, surprised to hear that two of the beach towels we used were stained beyond future use despite washing. As we used them only at the local beach (Hanalei), I am not sure how this occurred. I was charged $50 to have the two towels replaced. Having rented with other similar companies (AirBnB) and stayed at many local hotels, this has never happened before. It soured what was otherwise an nice experience.Princeville 5.05 miles

Wonderful location for seeing the ocean and walking to terrific snorkeling. We had to go up 2 flights of stairs to the condo and we had to figure out how to cool it in the afternnon. Keeping the front door open to allow ocean breeze helped. The neighbors were friendly abd helpful telling us where we could buy groceries.Koloa 23.44 miles

Every thing about this condo was great. It was nice to have the option of going out to eat or fixing something ourselves. The only down side was that there was no A/C, but mot places on Kauai do not have A/C.Princeville 3.73 miles

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pali Ke Kua. The unit I rented (236) had a two level layout with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. The washer/dryer unit worked very will, and the full kitchen was well equipped with nice silverware, pots and pans, tupperware, cooking utensils, water jugs and even a flower vase. I never used the Tv's but there were flat screens in each bedroom and in the living room. Very clean in every area, and a view of the ocean from the porch and dining table. The private beach has a BBQ, and is great for snorkeling with reef protection. And the location is great as you are close to Princeville for shopping and Hanalei for dining and a bit of nightlife (Tahiti Nui). I only used the common area hot tub once, but it was in great shape. The grounds and buildings were peaceful at all hours. In all, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this condo complex!Princeville 5.09 miles
