Overall, very good and nice property. Unit sleeping arrangements did not match the pictures but it worked out ok for us
Jada M.on 03/16/2018
We have stayed in many River Run properties over the past 15 years. This condo was fine for our family of four. The configuration seemed smaller than other properties but again, worked fine for us. Our main complaint was the strong odor as we entered which seemed to lessen with each day and when we opened the windows and doors to air the place out. Maybe it had been unoccupied for a while? The odor was similar to stale cigarette smoke but it was likely the heating unit or the very old carpeting. In any case, airing out by opening windows and the patio door helped tremendously. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the condo (except for the carpeting) was very clean. The DVD player is missing the remote. The appliances are new.
Eric P.on 03/11/2018
Living room DVD and VCR had trouble with DVDs from many different locations. Master bed furniture is in the wrong room - the in suite bathroom is in the bunk bed room. may make sense for kids that use bathroom a lot. fridge door and dishwasher can't be opened at same time. most items felt outdated. grill was an electric plug in model that looked like it hadn't been touched in a while.closet in master very difficult to use based on number of items in bottom. because this floorplan is available in multiple buildings I would choose one that is more updated and closer to slope.
Brian S.on 01/02/2018
The accommodations were perfect for the four of us. The parking was a little difficult for larger vehicles, and the property at first was difficult to find.
Brandon H.on 12/08/2017
The condo was great and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Elizabeth C.on 12/01/2017
Everything was great! Location, cleanliness, amenities and comfort. Plus the view was fantastic!
Jill V.on 08/18/2017
Wonderful stay in Keystone. Great location, walking distance to any where you would like. Rented bikes, road the chairlift up the mountain. Good time had by all!!!
Kirsten A.on 08/11/2017
Very nice apartment with plenty of space, wish we had more time than just one night and were able to stick around and explore the area.
Mike V.on 07/20/2017
It was a great experience for our family with little girls. Very family friendly
Molly K.on 06/08/2017
The property was super clean. The lobby, hallways, room...all spotless. The room was the perfect size for a family of 4 although it would have fit a few more. The view from the living room/deck is unbeatable especially at the nightly rate. We were able to watch the mountain bikers come down and the gondola go up. The kids loved that! My only suggestion would be to bring sleeping bags for the bunk beds...they are really uncomfortable. I mean, REALLY bad...that being said, I think if you slept on a sleeping bag or a camping mat it would make a world of difference. For the rate and the view, it is totally worth it if you don't mind making a few adjustments for the bunk beds.

It was an amazing, and well deserved vacation. We had such a fun time like every other year. We will be back next year and many more to come.
Brandon H.on 12/23/2016
This condo was perfect for our family
Chad S.on 11/18/2016
The Condo was great. The skiing was terrible. I know we can't control mother nature but I have been skiing hundreds of times at many resorts and those were the longest lift lines I have ever seen. We always shop for the best deal on lodging and when we will stay with you guys again.
Russell P.on 11/11/2016
Check in and check out was very easy. The condo was very clean and well kept. It had all that we needed for our stay. The king mattress is very firm and wasn't what we are used to. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
Amanda L.on 08/07/2016
We loved this condo! Enough room for the entire family. Very clean!
Liane W.on 07/31/2016
This rental was in a perfect location within walking distance to the village and activities! Covered parking was a perk as well! Amazing mountain view from the private balcony! Was very clean and exactly like the photos! Highly recommend this rental! In the summer it can get warm in the late afternoon/evenings but with the windows cracked and the fans they provide it was very comfortable! The heated pool and hot tub was a bonus when we finished with our daily activities for the kids! The kitchen had all items needed to make home cooked meals. I highly recommend this rental!
Sandra B.on 03/14/2016
Overall, had a great stay. Loved the location, very convenient and the Keystone Village was perfect for us! A couple of minor critiques, the master bed needs to be replaced. It slopes and is uncomfortable. The place could use a paint job and new carpet. We appreciated the 3 Tus and so many channels! Although it was hard to view in the bunk room. The set up is so tight, but it seems like that should be the master since the bath is connected. Is there anyway to not have to pay for laundry? That was kind of a pain to pay with a credit card for $3.50. Lastly, the parking below was really tight for our big truck and we had to park far away from the property. But even with those minor issues, we loved it!!!
Elizabeth H.on 02/24/2016
We had a great time, but I do have a couple of complaints that I think are important.
The master bedroom's bed was abviously an old mattress. The side next to window had a major slant towards window. The pullout in living room was really old, the last night we moved mattress on to floor because of the springs. And the bunk beds didn't seem like they were full length. My boys are 5'10" and they said that they couldn't straighten out there legs without hitting their heads.
We also couldn't get the heat to go down. It was really hot all the time unless we opened the windows and deck door. And, unfortunately the grill wasn't working either.
We loved the location, the kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were nice and clean, plenty of towels and we had no problems getting everything to work.
We will definitely be back but definitely not in that unit!!
Christina S.on 02/12/2016
The condo is very cute, but it's much smaller than we personally thought. I'd say this condo is better suited for a family with small children rather than adult children. The master has been switches and has 2 sets of bunk beds while the guest room has a large king squeezed in it, leaving very minimal room to store luggage or even walk around. The dinkng area is so small that we were unable to sit down and eat as a family.
Bret F.on 01/02/2016
We had a great stay in Keystone and Expedition Station. The location was perfect and very convenient to everything we needed. The description and pictures of this unit are very accurate. Check in was flawless and the guys at Mountain View Sports were terrific. The only thing less than 5 stars is the sofas that are well worn. The extra pillows help but not enough.
Rebecca C.on 12/26/2015
The Good: This condo was in a great location - close to the River Run Gondola and lift and kids ski school. The bunk beds were nice for my kids, and the kitchen had adequate supplies for lots of in-room meals. The condo facility rented us a crib for only $15 for the week and had it ready in our room when we arrived. Laundry facilities were down the hall, and the parking was very convenient. Note that the dining room table only seats four people even though there are beds for six. Our littlest one had to eat on my lap all week. The Bad: the condo has seen better days. The King mattress was super hard and probably needs to be replaced. I found a mattress tag in the kids room that said 2003, which is really old for a mattress. The bedding and pillows were worn, especially those on the couch. We had a broken fireplace that took four people coming by and five days to fix it. The grill on the porch never worked, and the VCRs in both bedrooms did not either. We left a note for the property manager, so hopefully these will all be fixed by the next person's stay. The Ugly: The dishtowels in the kitchen were so full of grime that they had turned brown. They were so gross that I threw them away and bought the owners new ones. The bathroom by the master bedroom had mold in the bathtub grout.

This was a great condo for our family with 2 kids. Great location right by restaurants and shopping. Beautiful views of the mountain.
Rachel H.on 12/19/2014
While we enjoyed the vacation and general area, this property was not nearly as nice as we would have expected. It seemed a bit "beat up" and was missing some key items in the kitchen (such as a bottle opener).
We would definitely stay in Keystone again in River Run, but don't think we'd select to stay in that property again.
Mark S.on 12/06/2014
We have stayed with SCMR twice a year for the past several years. This is our second stay at this unit. Needs some TLC. We left a few small details for management to address.
Richard L.on 12/03/2014
We had a great time!! We love staying in keystone 1. The location from the airport is great 2. night skiing 3. proximity of condos to the lifts 4. Friendly staff in all the village! I could go on and on, but you guys at summit county mountain retreats spoil all of us!!! See you on the slopes!!
John K.on 11/25/2014
We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were 2 adults and 4 "kids" (ranging from 19 to 12 years old). The complex is very nice and very well-kept. The location was quite convenient to the village and slopes. We were somewhat surprised that the unit was smaller than we expected, especially the living room / kitchen combo. That being said, for its size it served us quite well. There can't be many 2 bedroom units that could serve 6 people. The master bath was spacious. The second bath was a bit unusual in that the shower opened directly into the bedroom, so if someone wanted privacy everyone would need to leave the bedroom. We had a few electrical issues that weren't able to be completely remedied given the holiday, but they weren't a huge deal. Overall we were happy, especially given the competitive prcing.
Kelley N.on 11/20/2014
This condo was perfect for my family and the location could not have been better. It was clean, had lots of extra fans and sheets to keep warm, and also had plastic sleds for us to use. We had some issues with the microwave and heater so hopefully those have been fixed. The wifi and cable worked great.
Mike B.on 08/10/2014
Three generations of our family spent a wonderful quiet two night getaway at Keystone. The grandkids loved the heated pool swimming early in the chilly morning and even after the sun went down.
Alexander B.on 08/07/2014
The overall experience was great. The only thing that was disappointing was the quality of the Expedition Station WiFi connection. It kept cutting out periodically. There is really no excuse for that in this day and age.
richard w.on 08/04/2014
The carpet needs cleaning.

I traveled with my wife, three children and Grandmother. We booked a condo through Summit County Mountain Retreats in Keystone, Colorado. Our condo was beautiful and our stay was nothing short of spectacular. The prices were more than reasonable, the condo was well-maintained and in a wonderful location. The staff was more than courteous and provided maps and spot on directions to both the condo and their main office. Overall our experience was wonderful and we left Keystone already discussing when we were going to come back.
Michelle M.on 07/24/2014
This was our first visit to Colorado and everything more than exceeded expectations. The condo rental was affordable, clean, great location, spacious and had everything that we needed! We had plenty of towels, when we ran out of wash cloths, the laundry facility was down the hall. We don't normally watch TV at home, so needless to say didn't watch much television during our stay, but the stations available totally sufficed. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook daily. My only complaint would be that we couldn't stay longer! We will be staying here again for sure. Thank you guys for providing our home away from home. :)
Audra R.on 07/13/2014
It was a wonderful condo with beautiful views and amenities. My kids and mother were with me and we all had a wonderful time.
Mark S.on 04/05/2014
Very nice unit, served our group well. We stay twice a year with Summit County Mountain Retreats, and will always look for this unit for availability. Previous reviews stating problems have been nicely corrected. Look forward to next year.

Great mountain and a nice place to visit. Truthfully, #8599 is a ghetto. The mattress would not qualify to be used in Shawshank Prison and the couch wouldn't belong at a Fraternity house at C U. What a dump. At $500 + per night they should be ashamed. The toilet in the 2nd bathroom broke the first night and the hairballs in the master sink made it drain painfully slow. I had to drive into Dillon to buy a mattress foam pad and two pillows just to be able to sleep on it. The unit should be taken out of the rotation until it is cleaned and furniture replaced. As an Executive and owner of two companies I expect a **** of alot more when I pay $550 per night. I hope this does not fall on deaf ears.
The Rental was a bit tight but who cares as we spent very little time in the rental and a lot of time on the mountain. This building is literally a block to the main Gonadal and the mountain is spectacular.
While the rental overall mets our needs, there were some issues that would likely deter us from staying at this property again. After a late evening arrival, we woke up to find out that there was NO hot water for any showers. In calling the number we were given for assistance, the reply was only that the building was at capacity. There is NO parking in or around this building for any more than 1 car and again, no assistance or suggestions by anyone at the facility. We were only told to take our chances with parking in a ski lot and risk getting a $250 fine.
Great Rental! The 2 bunk bed room is great for kids! The place had everything in the kitchen that we needed. Would definitely stay again.
Clean and we'll stocked. Wonderful location and amenities. Overall great value!
Very convenient, some things were outdated but the property served our purpose very well and the location was top notch. Overall, we were very pleased.
Perfect size for a family of four. Would've preferred closer for kids ski lessons, but location was pretty convenient. Room was in good condition, but dishwasher was not stable. Kept falling out of the counter.
Condo has beautiful views of the ski slopes and very close to shops, etc in River Run village. Clean, quiet, nicely stocked condo with everything we needed. The only complaints: 1.The 10:00am checkout time. We really needed a late checkout of about an hour and management would not allow this because supposedly someone else was renting the unit after us. The building looked practically empty so we were not sure why they couldn't accommodate at least an 11:00am checkout. I would not think the cleaning staff really needed a 6 hour cleaning window when there were so many vacancies. 2.Also, there were fumes (smelled like exhaust or Carbon monoxide?) in the unit. We kept opening the window to bring in clean air. Not sure what caused it but should definitely be looked into.
The stay at the Keystone lodge was a very pleasant experience. We enjoyed the amenities and the hospitality of the locals during our stay.
I read a ton of reviews of different properties before picking this one. And I'm so glad that I did. The condo was beyond comfortable, and my kids especially liked the bunk beds. It's the same in the building as kidtopia and right across the street from River Run Village and the gondola. It's a great place to stay for families.
Overall, very good. Couches and bunk beds need to be updated. Kitchen well stocked. None of the bedroom or bathroom doors locked. Would be nice to have fresh bathroom towels at least every other day. Laundry room was a bit of a mystery...machines took credit cards, but no price was listed anywhere. Just slide card and hope it's not $10 to wash and dry laundry. Lastly, prior to check-in we received an email requiring the names and ages of everyone including our kids...this is not necessary information to check into a property. We were not comfortable with this and did not provide the information. Nonetheless, we had no issues checking in.
The best thing about this condo is the location...All the beds need new mattresses. The king size bed slants on the right side and is very uncomfortable. The 2 bunk beds make noise any time someone moved, and the mattress are cheap and hard. The refridgerator needs to be replaced and the bottom shelf was cracked and the bins didn't fit right. The carpet is worn and really dirty. The couch has seen better days, and the pullout bed has a bar in the middle so you have to sleep at an angle. The BBQ was disgustingly dirty and did not work, there was BBQ grease all over the Balcony..The sink had a leak and we were awakened by the maintenance at 11p to have our water under the sink shut off. I was there for the great skiing, and Summit County Mountain Retreats were very helpful and nice. I think they should talk to the Owners before renting this unit again. 8599 Needs some TLC.
This rental property was great. It's proximity to the slopes can't be beat. We had 7 adults staying here and we all fit comfortably. The only drawback was the pull out couch. The mattress is so thin it feels like you are sleeping on the metal crossbars. But what more can you expect from a pullout couch! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!
We booked for a week-long getaway with children and grandchildren. Perfect location, nice condo. The double bunks were a plus. The sofa is a wee bit past its prime, otherwise the place was just right. The management company is great to work with. Thanks!
This property was very clean, decorated nicely and had adequate dishes, pots & pans and tableware. We were glad that it was cool for July (60 - 70's) as there was no AC. Opening all the windows helped. The bunk beds were perfect and comfortable for our boys but the mattress on the Queen bed was too soft and uneven and the mattress on the sleeper sofa was not good - it dipped considerably in the middle. The bathrooms were nice and roomy. The tubs could have used a non-slip mat. It was great to have curtains for the patio doors. Complimentary coffee to put in the coffee maker was a nice touch, along with board games. Though there was three TV's, none of them could be used to view DVD's or watch basic cable. We did manage to find pre-recorded shows to
watch. All in all a clean, cozy rental. Very convenient to be walking distance form the River Run village and all outdoor activities.
Clean, modern, but too many remote controls on the table. There must have been at least 10 for 3 TV's and no instructions. The cleaning fee of about $100 is ridiculous for a 1 night stay at a small condo. We pay that much for our 4000 sq ft home to be cleaned at home!
Keystone and Dillon are the two major towns in this location, and both offer a ton of amazing things to do no matter what the season! There's obviously some great skiing in the area, and hitting up the Keystone Ski Resort, Columbine Ski & Sport, Dercum's Dash on the Mountain, the Loveland Ski Area, or the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area will get you out skiing or snowboarding on some beautiful slopes. The area also features amazing hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, kayaking and canoeing, and more. Some great outdoor spots you should be sure to hit are Dillon Reservoir, Marina Park, Loveland Pass, Guanella Pass, and the Snake River. Dillon also has a nice little Farmer's Market, and the area has great indoor activities too, including the Lake Dillon Theatre Company, the Dillon Amphitheater, the Snake River Saloon, and Pug Ryan's Steakhouse and Brewery. For the history-minded, the Dillon Schoolhouse Museum might be more your style. The area also features horseback riding tours, spas, great bars and restaurants, bowling, golf courses, and the beautiful Keystone Lake.
