We really enjoyed the location of the condo with many activities close and a wonderful central location for day trips!!
I was disappointed with the furniture that was very broken down and uncomfortable. When you have been out walking and hiking after a long day trip we would have liked to have a comfortable evening but it was hard to do! Very uncomfortable to sleep .
The kitchen cabinets were broken, no skillet for cooking you can not cook certain things in pots. There were three of us staying there and only two wash cloths provided.
We so enjoyed Colorado and would recommend the area but really hope there are improvements to this condo!!

This reservation was cancelled and we received verification. The room was held for us by the Summit Rentals as they were not informed of the cancellation.
We booked another room thru Summit directly.

We had a great time!

Very nice property right in the heart of keystone and next next to the mountain. Clean and quiet with everything you need including heated underground parking. Two nice hot tubs and a pool. Ski lockers.
Dave D.on 03/05/2017
Nice Condo, well kept. Building and grounds nice. Convenient location.
Andrew M.on 01/21/2017
Wonderful place to stay! Great location, very clean, and met all of our expectations.
Melissa B.on 01/13/2017
Nice time, great location and most comfortable condo I have ever stayed in. Will stay again!
Amy S.on 12/27/2016
Excellent location. Comfortable master. Clean room. Horribly uncomfortable pullout bed. Average stock of kitchen supplies; pots, pans, no containers for leftovers
Ricardo S.on 12/25/2016
As good as expected, from the instructions to the unit, cleanliness and location. Love Keystone and the condo. This is our second time at the Dakota Lodge. First time in a 2 bedroom condo. When going back to Keystone will come back to Dakota Lodge.
Ivana B.on 12/09/2016
This location is great, very convenient ski in/ski out. Nice outdoor heated pool and hot tub with a great view. The underground parking garage is is very convenient, we were able to check out and ride the last day of our trip with access to the parking garage to change and pack our stuff at the end of the day. Overall great location, we will definitely be staying there again.

Kitchen needs better supplied no skillet, only 4 spoons.

The location, the resort's ammenities and the condo were terrific. The only thing missing were coffee filters, which we bought at the resort grocery and left for the next guests.
Thanks for a great vacation,.

Property was nice and clean. The couch was very uncomfortable. The elevator was broke the last 2 days we where there and that was very inconvenient.
Douglas H.on 07/08/2016
Was great. Would do it again.
Fran S.on 05/23/2016
We loved everything about this condo. Plenty of room. Great features. Fully stocked kitchen. The kids loved the huge heated pool and hot tub.
Ken L.on 03/20/2016
Great condo, poor property management. We wanted to book the early arrival and late arrival for this stay. Two voice-mails and a visit to the property management office didn't even result in a phone call telling me neither was available. Very disappointing since we had little ones with us.
The property was well cleaned, furnished, and overall very nice.
Grace C.on 03/17/2016
My questions were answered promptly and they were very helpful with my questions and concerns prior to the stay. The property and pictures were on point regarding the room we rented. The room was clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommended the property to anybody staying in Keystone. The rental was extremely close to the lifts and the bus system, and it made our days easier and convenient. Because I usually have trouble sleeping on vacations, I have to say the bed was great. I didn't have any trouble sleeping.
Robert M.on 02/24/2016
This was the perfect spot to get away for 2 nights. Perfect walking distance to the gondola and there is a good view from the balcony. This had everything we needed for a stay at Keystone.
Brianna S.on 02/15/2016
The rental was lovely. Clean and super cozy, exactly what we wanted. We were super close to everything and had no problems at all. The only thing I would complain about was an advertised discount, in the check in packet, if we went through Mountain View Sports Rentals to rent our ski equipment. Going to this place was the only unpleasant experience we had. The Condo itself was excellent! Would definitely stay again!
Jill D.on 02/04/2016
Location right at River Run Village was very convenient. Quick walk to village, nice views and easy access to shuttles. Unit was clean and cozy. King bed with good linens was a huge plus. White fluffy towels a nice touch. This is a great unit for a couple.
Peter L.on 01/20/2016
We had a good overall stay with the exception with the shower, the shower handle was very hard to turn and eventually broke off with the water running. Maintenance was very quick to respond, however they were in able to fix the shower handle for us before our stay ended. Therefore, we were without a shower the last night and morning of our departure.
cindy d.on 12/26/2015
Very good. The young man managing our check in was extremely helpful.
Laura F.on 09/24/2015
We were visiting Keystone for a wedding. This condo was comfortable and clean. We were very pleased with the location and price point. A great place for a get-a-way!
Pamela B.on 08/30/2015
the unit was very nice and clean. There were only a couple of things wrong. Lamp in bedrooms next to bed did not work. The other thing was that couch/sofa sleeper. That couch is most uncomfortable its sags terribly. We noticed it was mentioned quite a few times in the guest register dating back some years. Owner should step up and get a new couch! I probably would come back to Dakota Lodge but not this unit. Also I left a small makeup bag in bathroom, I called and left message and the recording said anything under three pounds was $12.50 to mail home. For something that weighs less than half a pound I find that excessive.
Kerry O.on 06/14/2015
Everything was great. The condo is perfect for a couple. It's close to everything in River Run Village and has a tremendous mountain view from the balcony. Management was very accommodating.
Angela H.on 12/05/2014
The home was as described and was in a perfect location. We loved everything about our stay and plan to come back every year!
Miranda M.on 10/17/2014
The reviews and description of this place don't serve it justice. Everything about the place was great. The condo was roomy and clean and up to date. We stayed at a time where there was hardly anyone in the town of Keystone but the place itself was wonderful!
Bryan H.on 07/05/2014
My wife, daughter, and I spent a great week at this condo in early July. The weather was perfect and we slept with the windows open at night. A great touch was that the condo had a slow cooker available. The condo is in great condition and our daughter said the sleeper sofa was very comfortable. Would definitely stay at this unit again.
Richard J.on 04/13/2014
It was a beautiful place. We had a great time. I would do it again and recommend it to anyone.
Josh M.on 03/03/2014
Great place, great location
Amy S.on 02/19/2014
One thing that would have made my stay better was better maps of the area. Without a front desk person to ask, and the fact that you pull in underground, things really have to be spelled out. I was very confused about where the pond in the picture on the website was and eventually asked someone only to find out it was at a different resort. Now that I understand the lay of the land I would return. The kitchen could have used a few more basics, like a cookie sheet. There was a cracker on the floor which said to me it unit was only spot vacuumed.
This is a very nice clean place in a good location. It is certainly not 5 star but nice, basic and clean. We had no issues while staying there and had a great time.
John K.on 12/20/2013
Walking distance from the slopes and the village. Great view. Everything was wonderful, new and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace very much. Only the couch wasn't very comfortable. A vacuum cleaner would have been nice. Also, there wasn't a lot of closet space.
We liked the unit and location very much. It needs some attention however. Kitchen cabinet door hinges are handing loose. Needs some new drinking glasses. Linens and towels were great.
Perfect description. Everything was as stated. We cooked a full dinner in the kitchen, great balcony, very clean.
Understand it is a one bedroom but that bed mattress needs to be turned or replaced and the mattress on the sofa bed is terrible. 3rd party ended up sleeping on the floor. I wouldn't rebook this room based on the mattresses.
During my first night there was a leak coming through the bathroom ceiling from an upstairs unit. Had to deal with firefighters and someone from management very late at night. And then HOA workers throughout my stay. Was told by management that they would mop up the water but had to use my towels in the unit. Management never followed up with me or even apologized for the inconvenience. Also, had to deal with a loud industrial fan left on for 2 days in the hallway to dry the carpet. Besides this incident my stay was fine. Just didn't feel management was accommodating or understanding.
We are happy staying this location.
No complaints. We stay at River Run quite a bit, and this unit was just above average.
Very nice place overall. Only issue was that there were only 3 spoons (one had been damaged by garbage disposal), and only 3 very small wine glasses (like champagne glasses). Also, having to pay extra to extend check-out time seemed obsessive (either you can or can't extend, but you shouldn't have to pay extra).
The accommodations at the Dakota Lodge was very good. The location and view of the mountains was breathtaking. Only complaint after 3 days there discovered the dishwasher had dirty dishes in it. Mold on silverware and dishes. Ran dishwasher 3 times - suggest your cleaning staff do these dishes now by hand to thoroughly clean before next guest arrive. Also, noticed dust throughout condo. Might check again on your cleaning staff that they check dishwasher and dust. Thank you for our stay. If you have any further questions about our stay, please let me know. I did get use to the tablespoon to eat with as when we arrived there was only 1 spoon in drawer.(Did my dishes by hand - never checked dishwasher until the 3rd day that's when I discovered the dirty dishes :)
This was a great little condo in the River Run area, and it was very convenient to shops and restaurants. It was very clean, and the kitchen was updated. We had a problem with the windows coming up their track, but the maintenance person came out quickly to fix it. The only negative with renting through Summit County Mountain Retreats were all the rules/fees with checking in early or checking out late - this was more restrictive than VRBO rentals which will let you adjust your times if the unit is not busy...without fees.
Very easy check-in. Nice apartment.
This place was perfect for us! It had all of the amenities we needed and the location was great. Everything was very convenient, relatively quiet, and we really enjoyed the view. We would definitely come back again.:)
The condo itself is quite small but good for 2 people. It was immaculately clean. The selection of TV channels was good, and the Internet worked well. We were there for the Bluegrass and Beer festival, and the location could not have been better. The complex has a super nice pool area. We would rent this condo again. The management company was professional, helpful, and friendly.
We really enjoyed staying at the Dakota Lodge. It was very clean and convenient to the square. We loved the amenities!
Generally we enjoyed the condo. It was in a great location and we felt at home at Dakota. The fireplace pilot light went out and Dawn from Summit County came to the rescue so it worked the rest of the trip. The coffee maker stopped working our last day so we had to buy overpriced coffee in the village. The cleaning could also have been better. It looked like some of the hidden places like under the couch and the corners hadn't been vacuumed in a while. We cooked there a few nights and had eggs every day for breakfast. Most of the essentials were there for us to use during our stay. The bed and fold out couch were both very comfortable. It was awesome to just have to walk down the stairs to the heated pool and hot tub!!
The condo room was perfect location for our trip, drove all over summit county came back to rest and go out again, will do again next year.
We enjoyed staying in this condo! It was an easy walk to the gondola, shops and resteraunts. We had no problems with directions or checking in, and the management company seemed very professional. The dip in the jacuzzi in the snow was fantastic after a day of riding fresh powder. I would recommend this unit to anyone, and hope to stay there again!
Awesome location, nice quiet building, great views from the heated pool / hot tub.
Keystone and Dillon are the two major towns in this location, and both offer a ton of amazing things to do no matter what the season! There's obviously some great skiing in the area, and hitting up the Keystone Ski Resort, Columbine Ski & Sport, Dercum's Dash on the Mountain, the Loveland Ski Area, or the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area will get you out skiing or snowboarding on some beautiful slopes. The area also features amazing hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, kayaking and canoeing, and more. Some great outdoor spots you should be sure to hit are Dillon Reservoir, Marina Park, Loveland Pass, Guanella Pass, and the Snake River. Dillon also has a nice little Farmer's Market, and the area has great indoor activities too, including the Lake Dillon Theatre Company, the Dillon Amphitheater, the Snake River Saloon, and Pug Ryan's Steakhouse and Brewery. For the history-minded, the Dillon Schoolhouse Museum might be more your style. The area also features horseback riding tours, spas, great bars and restaurants, bowling, golf courses, and the beautiful Keystone Lake.
