Great from start to finish. Beautiful grounds and a great sandy beach to enjoy. Slept so good with the ocean breeze and hearing the waves crash. We golfed the Mauna Lani south course and enjoyed a pristine course with fabulous views. Great dining within walking distance. We used the kitchen for breakfast and loved having our snacks and cocktails in the evening on the balcony. The property manager Blake was very helpful in suggesting places to see. This large 2 bedroom/ 2 bath home has enormous square footage, vaulted bamboo ceilings and a huge wrap around deck. New furnishings, top of the line appliances, gourmet kitchen and so much more… There is a king size punee on the downstairs patio if you have a couple of teenagers that want an outdoor sleeping experience in Hawaii! The second bedroom is very private because of the layout with the living room and kitchen in the center of the house. The beautiful gourmet kitchen is open, so that you can converse with your family and friends while you are preparing meals. There is a large flat screen TV in the living room with a DVD player. You can see Mauna Kea from the back and the ocean is just across the street for daily snorkeling or diving. The largest white sand beach on the island is just 5 minutes by car and there are five star resorts near by with golf, spa and other amenities. We recently stayed at this house and could not have found a more perfect rental for the price. We were a group of 17 (9 Adults/8 kids) There was room for everyone and the house is so large that we had our own space. I will agree my biggest disappointment was that the pool was too cold and the hot tub had specific hours of which it could be used (electricity is very high on the island but you can purchase I believe through the agency an all day run rate). However the kids didn't mind at all but the adults hardly used it. Instead we sat on the deck for hours and stared at the amazing sunsets. It is very close to everything and Kona airport (don't worry you won't hear planes). The house sits far on a hill and it's only one of 3 in the Ooma Plantation that we could see. Your neighbors are very far so it's very private. The furnishings are high end and the beds, linens wonderful. I searched for for over 6 months for the right property at the right price and this place delivered. Additional notes: There is a high cleaning fee but for the size of the house it can be expected. The only upstairs room could use a bigger bed instead of the daybed, seems like it could be a master instead of an afterthought.Kailua Kona 29.59 miles

We are part of a men's senior softball team from Kauai that came to participate in the Hawaii State Senior softball tournament in Kona. The team rented two homes in the Ooma Plantation so we could all be together. Our little group of six stayed in Piko Nani which was just perfect. Beautiful spacious home conveniently located close to the airport, town and baseball fields. Relaxing surroundings especially after playing softball in the hot sun. Just one minor inconvenience was that the electronic gate lock is placed in an awkward location so driving into the property wasn't just a straight shot. After you entered the combination to the gate, you had to either reverse or make a u-turn with your car to get into the property. But once you drive in and see the property, that little inconvenience was suddenly forgotten until the next time.Kailua Kona 29.52 miles

The condo has beautiful Tiger Wood Floors in the common areas, while both bedrooms have carpet. All rooms have ceiling fans. The living room has floor to ceiling windows to view the great outdoors, and a large sliding glass door to the lanai.
The master bedroom with a dramatic vaulted ceiling has a California king-size bed and a private lanai to enjoy that morning cup of Kona Coffee while listening to the unique sounds of tropical birds singing. The second bedroom has two twin size beds. The condo has its own washer and dryer. Enjoy cooking in this fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and maple cabinetry.

Rental had broken shades on 3 large windows that caused constant problems in closing to create privacy; 2 slats vacant in living room. Bedroom shade continued to break. Little furniture; couch very uncomfortable for any long term sitting. Ceiling fan in living room noisy, especially when trying to sleep. Vacuum did not work; smelt like burning. Windows in small bedroom very dirty and only partially cleaned when reported. Small window in master bedroom dirty. Had problems with GFI plugs; fixed by Boundless. Main tub handle broken; crud/mold(?) around caulking. Plenty of beach seats; boogie boards; snorkeling stuff, large beach towels. We have stayed in similar units at Waikaloa Villas that were much better maintained and more comfortable. Boundless Hawaii responsive but in reality changed nothing. Said shades on the way, but that did nothing for our month-long stay. We like the area but would not rent unit again nor recommend to anyone.Waikoloa Village 10.01 miles

We loved the Hillside Villa. It was in a great location, very spacioous, beautiful decor and a fun golf cart. The only problem is that we cook occassionally and had no idea how to operate the oven. What a beautiful villa in paradise. It is impeccably decorated with beautiful and comfortable furniture. The two living areas are great for families so the kids can have their own space. Excellent and would definitely recommend property to family(ies) looking for Hawaii experience. House has plenty of room for multiple simultaneous activities. Bedrooms are separate, quiet and easily used as private retreat from rest of house. Very close walk/golf-cart-drive to incredible Haulalai Resort and all activities. Kids and adults spent hours in pool and hot tub. Kitchen equipped with everything imaginable so staying in to cook is a gastronomic delight! Only downside is leaving to go home!Kailua-Kona 24.66 miles
