We stayed in this beach house with 11 people (4 adults 7 kids) and had a great time. Close to the beach access and has a partial view of the ocean. The only thing about this house is the the door with the access code lock goes into the master bedroom. It wasn't a huge issue but was something I didn't expect. The smart TV in the living room didn't stream. Netflix very well. It would lose internet connection very frequently. Not a huge issue for me as we didn't come to watch TV. The internet speed was fine for using with phones which was nice considering the at&t cellular internet was overloaded with all of the tourists (typical for every beach I've been to).

This house fit us perfectly. The bunks for the kids, the master for us and the extra room for my parents. We entertained more family at night, using the grill and playing cards on the porch. Short walk to beach access, short walk to convenience store, a nice restaurant and ice cream shop, and short drive to shopping. We couldn't have been any happier with our choice to stay her. Comfy.

This home has a great location. Close to the beach access and away from all the high rise condos. We had everything we needed for a winter two month stay. We did have a few issues with the house but Anchor Rentals were quick to respond and got them fixed. The staff always pleasant and helpful. Overall the house could use some improvements but very functional.

This is our 2nd time at this house with another family/friends. It's a great location, beach across the street with it being close to everything, but far enough out you don't get the condos crowd. Nice layout on the inside with a great hangout spot underneath for grilling. Everything was great, except we had issues with cockroaches. As soon as we walked in, we saw roach traps placed throughout the house. There were large roaches in the family room/kitched area, with small roaches in the master bathroom, along with mushrooms growing out of the tile grout. The outside could use a freshening up, as the houses around it were nicer looking. A fresh coat of paint and some fascia repair would go a long way. Everything else was great about the house.
From the outside, the house needs some TLC. The paint is chipping off, gutter hanging down. Looks as if Mother Nature got a hold of it, and the repairs just haven't been done. Walking in, the house was very clean and nice. Perfect size for 2 families. The location was far enough from the hustle & bustle, but still closes enough to restaruants & shopping. People tend to speed down the this main road, so we had to walk our children across to beach everyday. Beach was very nice & not busy due to private rentals near. I would recommend this to families who don't want to pay the higher price for beach front rentals. All in all a nice home!
The outside looked a little weathered, but when we got inside we were very impressed with the shape of all the appliances, furniture and overall space. Very short walk to the beach and great view from the front deck helped make our vacation a memorable experience. We all had a great time and would not hesitate to come back to this rental. Also Anchor Vacations did a great job ensuring all our needs were met.
This was our third year in a row at Happy Hour and we are already booked for next year. Lovely house, beach, location but fascia hanging down above porch and a gallon of white paint could go far !!
My family (wife, son - 2 yr, daughter - 3 mo.) was slated to come to this house on 8/20/2014 and we were very excited about the house as the pictures and location were great, especially for the price. Unfortunately, upon our arrival we found the A/C to be broken and the house to be 93 degrees. We called the management company about it and they did send a repairman to the house immediately. Once we returned from dinner we found the A/C man still working and spoke with him. He was able to get the A/C working, but said the unit was at the end of it's life and the fix was simply a patch job and would maybe hold the night. That was not a good answer for us as the heat index was 110 and we would not risk that for our daughter and did not want to have our family vacation ruined by ongoing A/C issues. We called the management company, Anchor Vacations, that we did not like the situation and they were optimistically helpful and did move us to a new house, however that was just the start of a horrible experience with Anchor Vacations. A beach view is available from the porch, and the house had potential, but we did not stay there through our entire stay, but during our short time in the house, we noticed several of the below things. - Railing on the porch was very wobbly. We were nervous about the kids playing there. - Bathrooms both had mildew in the bathtubs in both the grout and caulking around the tub. - Refrigerator was dented with rust stains on the front of it.
We were looking for a place for our two teenage daughters and one married daughter along with her husband to stay. Total of 6 people. The accommodations were perfect. Master suite had a king bed. One bedroom had a queen bed. The third bedroom was a bunk room with 2 sets of bunkbeds plus a bed in the closet. In total it sleeps 8-9. I would recommend the bunk room for kids or teens, not adults. It's tight quarters in there. The home is located just under 2 miles from the heart of the action. There is a restaurant and a little shop an easy walk down the street. Public access to the beach is almost directly across the street. We liked the location because it was away from the parties and more family atmosphere. The beach wasn't crowded at all. The kitchen/dining/gathering area is very open and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with only very basic kitchen utinsels (but who wants to cook on vacation anyway). We were furnished with 2 trash can liners and 2 packets of dish detergent. We needed more of both. Things to bring: toilet paper paper towels beach towels (they had smallish bath towels but not enough for showring and beach) toiletries dish soap laundry soap (having a washer/dryer in the unit was a huge plus- wet swimsuits washed right away!!!) hand soap There were a few beach things in the cabinet downstairs but not many. We bought more and donated for the next guest. You may have to do the same depending on your family needs. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. The place is a little older but well kept. We'd go back for sure!
The master bed was very comfortable. The the house was very nice and had a very convenient location. My only complaint was the lack of cleaning. There was standing water in the dishwasher when we arrived. There was an abundance of hair and soap scum in the showers and just a general lack of cleanliness. When we made the reservation the lady was very polite, however the second lady (who helped us at check in) acted like we were a bother (although we didn't ask for anything extra at all). When we checked out the same unfriendly lady was there. She was once again - not rude - just acted as though we were an inconvenience. When I mentioned the lack of cleanliness and the broken ottoman (was broken prior to our arrival) she acted as though she really didn't care. Maybe she is just having a hard time - I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I am not sure if I would recommend or not - if I did it would be with a disclaimer. The convenient location was still really nice.
