    Good location, nice pet-friendly home. The dog loved the outdoors--just opened the dining room door and he could run out to the snow out back. There was an issue with the oven and several burners not working which were corrected. We had requested that they not come in due to the presence of the dog, so the repairman came the day we left and was able to correct the problem. Overall, a good, convenient place.

    Nice unit and location, but really, a $20 fee to check in 2 hours early, which helps you avoid 50 people lining up at 4:00 pm?!?!?!

  • Managed by Gore Creek Properties, this gold rated town home is on the river in East Vail, only 5 miles from Vail village. It can sleep 12 people and has 2 700 square feet of living space and is built on 3 levels. There are two living areas and there is a great deck and large lawn overlooking the Gore Creek. All three bathrooms were remodeled this summer and look great. There is a wood burning fireplace in the lounge and wood will be provided in the winter.

    The home is on the free Vail village bus stop route and the stop is only a short walk up the road. Blu's restaurant is a couple of blocks away for those not wanting to go back into town.This property does not allow any pets and is NON SMOKING.

    Very nice location. Condo can use some updating, a lot of updating. Especially for the price paid. But it is hard to beat the location and Summit County Mountain Retreats is very easy to work with. They made it easy to checkin and out

    It was a very easy walk (about a block) to river run area and ski in ski out was great. we used it for a wedding and it worked out great because the social area (kitchen/tv room) had plenty of seating for our guest who would stop by. I would love to stay there again.

  • This beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom/2 bathroom gold rated condo in East Vail has access to the complex hot tub and large summer pool. It is about 1100 square feet and only 3.5 miles from Vail village. The condo has a full granite top kitchen, plush couches and a wood burning fireplace in the living room. Wood for the fireplace will be provided. The first bedroom has a queen bed as does the 2nd bedroom and the upstairs en suite bedroom has a twin and a captains bunk. This property has free internet wi-fi, phone service and a grocery/liquor store on site. This is a great place for up to 6 people. This property does not allow any pets and is NON SMOKING.

    We love the Pitkin creek condos but there were a lot of things with this particular condo that could have been improved. It was nice to have a condo so close to the bus stop and it was attractive. There were many dishes and utensils that were dirty but in the drawers/cabinets. We had to wash everything before using. The doors and drawers were not hinged properly and would fall off upon opening. The shower head was horrible. There was not enough seating in the living room. The washing machine didn't properly spin the water out so it took forever in the dryer. The thermostat didn't seem to work properly. We had a good time but would probably not rent this particular condo again. A little maintenance would go a long way and a longer couch.

It is a silver unit, a little dated but clean and comfortable and the price is right! The condo can accommodate up to 4 people. The condo is fully furnished and all towels, linen and firewood for the fireplace will be supplied in the winter.
