My stay in College Park, MD was great!! The space was plenty big enough for my partner and myself. Easily could have had another two people and still been comfortable. Parking was complimentary with the property which was great. We were Only about 8 miles or so from Downtown D.C. which was Perfect. There was also a bus stop up and around the corner from The apartment to take public transpiration into the city. We were so close to so many things that we always had something to Do and always a great place to eat. I would definitely recommend this space to someone looking for a quiet place to Go home too after a long day and evening of fun. I would say if you are into the night life and clubs, it may not be a good fit. I was very pleased with my experience. I look forward to booking with Charlotte and Lux BnB again. :)College Park

What you will find: a VERY clean, roomy, functional, comfortable and convenient place to stay for your Washington DC visit. My husband and I stayed 8 nights with our two children both in their early teens. We had plenty of room to spread out. The outdoor patio is an awesome extension to the house. As others have mentioned, this apartment is very clean, nicely decorated and in a terrific location. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, but there are so many great restaurants in the area, we didn't really do any home cooking. Excellent customer service. And, I'd definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.Washington 7.55 miles

This was our first time visiting DC ~ I'm so glad we decided on this location for our stay. My husband and I were here for a week and we really enjoyed ourselves. The apartment is below ground level, but the south facing windows let in ample light ~ the space is just right for two people. It has everything you need: full kitchen, large laundry and closet/storage space, tiny, but functional, bathroom. Our first night here, we had an issue with parking space we had arranged and paid for in advance, but our hosts were immediately accessible and the problem was solved by the next day.
We absolutely loved the neighborhood location ~ we felt like locals ~ a short walk to the small market, Starbucks, drugstore, and several restaurants (we had a wonderful lunch at Bambu). We stayed over the Fourth of July and got to experience the Palisades Fourth of July parade right from our porch.
We rode the bus in to town - take the D5 or D6, the stop is just across the street. Excellent!Washington 9.85 miles

I stayed for a week. The studio is on the ground floor, and there's a great front patio. The unit itself is relatively large for a studio, and the kitchenette is super convenient. Fantastic location (a block from the Metro, Starbucks, and a ton of great restaurants) and comfortable furnishings. The only downside is that you can occasionally hear the owners in the townhouse above, but it's not bad. I would definitely stay here again.Washington 7.85 miles

The house sits in a perfect location and it's very nice and pretty clean. had some issues and was quite disappointed of how LUXbnb handled it.
Main shower was broken. didn't let us know it before, although told me on the phone they'll try to fix, it didn't happened and they didn't even contact to update.
Third floor was way to hot during the heat wave. they send us a small vent... didn't really solved the problem.
Didn't have a kettle to boil water, asked for it. never received one.
Had to clean by ourselves the BBQ, looked like hasn't been used for a long time...
guy in the office was really nice and tried to help, but the availability of the manager and the office was not good and it took many calls to try to get a hold during office our and after. To summarize, We expected more considering the high price of this property. If the maintenance was a bit better this is a perfect house.Washington 8.55 miles

This flat was just as advertised. It's comfortable, extremely clean and just a couple blocks from Union Station. The neighborhood is lovely and it was only a 15 minute walk to the Mall & museums. After a day of sightseeing, it was nice to be able to eat dinner at home, do laundry or zip over to Union Station and have city transportation easily available. Rodney was a great host - checked in with us, but didn't hover. Kevin at LUX B&B was very helpful in planning the stay. He responded to emails or calls promptly and had many helpful hints for this first time VRBO user. You won't regret making this your home base!Washington 7.29 miles

THIS APT IS COMFORTABLE AND IT IS VERY WELL LOCATED NEAR DUPONT CIRCLE. SOME THINGS TO IMPROVE ARE THE COUCH : IT SHOULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE TO BE USED AS BED. I respected the rules of the building respecting the trash management, but other neighbours did not and I had to take their trash bins to the curb in order to have the trash collected at dawn. Otherwise, bins full of trash would have been smelling all the weekend. The availability of linden and towels should be improved.
All in all, it is a very recommendable option if you want a temporary rental in DC. Everything was almost new and the location is great.
Metro information should be available for guests since it is one of the most fast, easy transportation means in DC. Another information useful to the guests should be given like outlets near DC, Museums and shows like Cirque du SoleilWashington 8.16 miles
