Loved our stay at the condo. While the condo is a bit dated, it was super clean. The layout worked well for our family of five. The sofa bed mattress needs to be replaced as it’s very uncomfortable. Provide small bottles of shampoo/conditioner and perhaps a hair drier. TVs are way too small. My computer monitors are bigger!

Had a nice visit with friends. Disappointed there was a fitting missing on the gas grill, so we could not use. Had the impression this was a house not a condo. Good location.

Both families had a great time in this rental. It was spacious and only walking distance to Lake Tahoe. Staff at the property office were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great time!

We had a wonderful stay. The townhouse was perfect for our family. Everything was in its place and easy to find. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hiking trails nearby. We would love to come back.

First, the positives: great location, clean property, easy to work with rental company.
The negatives: I felt like the property skimped on the amenities. The dish sponge was literally cut in half -- to save money? Who does that? We are a family of 5 staying for a full week in this property, and yet were only provided with 3 kitchen trash bags, 2 packs of laundry detergent and 3 packs of dishwashing detergent. The property also had two of the smallest televisions I've seen in recent memory. While TV watching was not a priority of our vacation, sometimes we like to throw on a Shark Week marathon while relaxing. And the Tvs are tiny (as pictured). And the cable package is very basic, and lacking in many children/family channels. Again, the TV quality did not break my vacation, but when I'm paying a not insubstantial sum for a week, I expect more than the bare basics.

Definitely would stay here again; and probably will!
Great vacation with family in Tahoe.
I found this place to be incredibly comforatble and welcoming. The entire process was hassle free and pleasant. I would certainly recommend this place to others and would most definitely stay at this place again the next timei go to Lake Tahoe.
A great getaway to catch up with friends and family.
Set up of floors and rooms were great. Kitchen was newer and fully stocked with pots, pans and plates. Stayed at a different townhouse last year and this year was even better!!
Nice and comfortable , bedsheets very crumpled and comforters and pillows need to be updated. Close to beach and activities. Great trail just behind the unit.
This rental was in a good location, loved the pool, and proximity to the lake. It was clean. And had the basics (just the basics). However, we have kids and a few things didn't quite work for us. The loft railing was loose and there are open spaces between the stair steps. This made us very nervous with kids. The TV is tiny. I mean tiny. Although we spent our days outside, it is nice to come back and watch the ball game or relax with cartoons in the morning before starting the day. And it would be really great to have coffee makings available for the first morning. This place is good for adults who don't want anything extra. A clean place to stay. (Note: Wifi is very slow.)
There is obviously a woody wood ****** problem in the area. The problem is being addressed by adding hardy board siding but in the mean time be aware that you may have an early morning wake up call from a wood ****** or construction crews. The condo was very nice and close to the beautiful pool but there are a lot of rules and the pool closes early. An air conditioner for the summer renters would be very helpful as the loft gets hot! The washer and dryer were helpful. It was great to have the three stories so that our children were separated. The area felt safe and the kids enjoyed the fitness course. The shower heads are very, very low but the kitchen was well equipped for family meals. Nice table and nice linen.
Carnelian Bay's North Lake Tahoe location makes for a great, quiet getway. Close to the casinos of North Lake Tahoe, public beaches, paddleboarding, kayaking, and more, this location has it all no matter what the season. Family-friendly skiing and snowboarding is close by at Northstar Ski Resort. But you're also right on the lake in Carnelian Bay. Rent kayaks or canoes, or a boat, and hit the lake. Or just sit at the beach and sunbathe or read a book. You can rent Jet skis too, or parasail or wind surf - fishing is also very popular as well. You can pay for a tour or just rent some gear and a boat and hit the lake. Magic Carpet Golf offers some great mini golf and Commons Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area, offering a beautiful view and great swimming conditions.
