We rented this condo for a girls weekend getaway to the beach. We were really impressed by the cleanliness and condition of the condo. Even with the amount of people we had staying there (8) it did not feel too cramped. The walk to the beach and pool is short. We did bring a mattress topper for the pull out couch upstairs and it made a huge difference. It would have been uncomfortable without it. We would definitely stay again.

We had a fabulous week at Beach Villa 2126. The weather could not have been better and the South Seas beach guys were VERY helpful with setting up and putting away chairs umbrellas, etc. There are some things, however, that I think the owner should know, all concerning ReMax. We arrived at the ReMax office at about 2:40pm on Saturday, Feb. 24. The people there I think hadn’t cracked a smile since the turn of the century. They were very grouchy and uncooperative. They would not give us the key until precisely 3pm., although it takes at least 20-30 minutes to drive from ReMax to South Seas. We explained we were going grocery shopping anyway, but nope, didn’t matter. Their standards are definitely not up to Royal Shell last year. There are several small things, all due to ReMax. No dish towels, dish cloths. Although the dishes had been put through the dish washer, they were not clean. No non-slip rubber mat in the showers. No salt-pepper. The lower bedroom closet was almost full and only 4 hangers. Only one dishwasher soap cube. Face tissue, toilet paper, soap cheapest available. None of these are critical in themselves, but put them together and the result is – ReMax is not living up to the standard set by Royal Shell last year. We’ll probably be back next year anyway.

The owners provided excellent beach chairs/umbrellas & kitchen equipment. South Seas has, however, cut out all amenities: use of the pier & adjacent pool, use of bus, etc., and changed its upscale grocery store into a (very good) restaurant. I might return, but not to a unit serviced by the clean-up crew that denied finding the bathing suit I left hanging on the porch. That probably means not renting thru Re/Max, which took the cleaners at their word, even though I told them exactly where the bathing suit was hanging.

our stay at the Villa was a very positive experience. We had a cold spell but the warmer days we ate our meals out on the lanai with a beautiful view of the ocean. the kitchen was pretty well-stocked. I stayed for three weeks and enjoyed every moment. Perhaps the only negative would be that I hadn't realized there was no elevator. Having had recent rotator cuff surgery I found it difficult to carry belongings up and down. (It was in the description-I just didn't notice it)

What a great location for a quick getaway from the early winter in NE. Beautiful ocean view from the screened porch! 100 yards to the sea. Shells galore and a quiet beach to walk on . What more could you ask for. The unit is well equipped , clean and welcoming. Plenty of room for the 5 of us.

Accommodations were great. Plenty of room for 5 ladies to spread out. Quiet complex. No parking problems. Easy to book.

Captiva Beach Villa is a nice oceanfront condo. If you are looking for a place with direct access to the beach, this is it. The condo was clean, well-kept, and updated. However, there are a few details to consider. The washer and dryer are community machines that require quarters. They are not machines located inside the unit. Also, to reach this particular unit, you'll climb two flights of stairs;. Additionally, the master is on the loft level of the condo. Beware of staying in the loft. Our son fell from the top of the stairs the first night we were there and broke his scapula. The design of the condo is particularly unsafe, as the upstairs/loft bathroom opens directly to the stairs. If one is staying in the loft, it is too simple to make an immmediate left and topple down the stairs, as our son did. There needs to be a safety gate. I recommend this condo but steer clear of using the loft.

The rental was in a great location with Gulf views and an easy walk to the beach and pool. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have the beach chairs, cooler, and a beach umbrella provided!
The Rental company reached out on the 3rd day of our visit asking if we needed anything and promptly delivered clean towels!
My only true complaint was the overall cleanliness. It is clear that the cleaning staff doesn't spend a lot of time make sure the place is clean. Behind the bathroom door there was a lot of black dirt on the floor, etc.

Condo location was perfect, short walk to the beach, beautiful view. Only complaint would be that the pool was not cleaned daily so there were allot of leaves in the pool. Condo could use some kitchen towels, but we had everything else we needed!

Three long-time friends, all in our 70's, met for several days in early June, 2017. The three of us have vacationed together for many years. This condo was exactly as pictured and described. It was very clean. The only thing that was not ideal for us was the fact that this is a second-floor condo (which we knew going in) and there is no elevator. Although we are all in overall good health, it did take some effort for us to get our luggage up and down the outside steps. Other than that, we enjoyed a very good stay in this condo. We especially enjoyed dinner at the Bubble Room.

Easy to find
Lovely condo with gorgeous sunset views and easy access to the beach. The master bedroom upstairs has a ceiling fan, the second BR downstairs (twins) does not; airflow is improved by leaving the porch door open at night. ReMAX was very quick to fix a minor toilet issue and would probably provide a tabletop fan if requested. Kitchen and bathrooms are spotless, no signs of ants or other insects. Fabulous Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella. We were sorry to see Sunshine Cafe is gone but glad to know it will be back (on Andy Rosse) next year. Doc Fords gets very busy, reservations required. 2-hour drive to JetBlue Park but the Sox are worth it!
We have stayed multiple times throughout the south seas renting privately vs through the resort itself. This unit was okay in comparison. It is not very specific that there is no elevator in this building should say not handicap accessible ... unloading 2 cars of luggage and groceries up 3 flights of stairs was fun. Upon arrival our front door lock was about to fall off something I thought the cleaning service would have caught. Inside the kitchen there was a cabinet locked off cause it was broken but it was a main cabinet and we could have really used the extra storage space. The master bedroom is located upstairs with a loft with one pull out sofa, that was nice.
We stayed for a week right before Christmas. Had a wonderful time. Condo was very neat and clean with all the amenities we needed. Beautiful spot, great views of the gulf, and a short walk to the beach. Didn't need to use the resort as the town has plenty to do. We did walk around the harbor, which is lovely, and go on a cruise. We were able to do everything we wanted to do at a much more reasonable price than if we had rented through the resort. Highly recommended spot. Owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. Super helpful, too.
We loved staying in this condo, with its wonderful view of the gulf and sunsets from the screened in porch, and a short walk to the beach. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere. We were extra happy to find beach towels and chairs for our use. Also umbrellas, a cooler and boogie boards (which we didn't use).
Its comfortable, nicely furnished, clean, a total breeze as a renter. And Captiva was beautiful.
