At the beginning of your ski day / ski out your back door to the Snowflake Run, which leads to the base of the Snowflake Lift.
At the end of your day, follow the Four O'Clock Run back to the Snowflake Run and ski directly into your unit. Both runs are green and an easy glide for any skier level down the hill. In the summer, Saddlewood is situated among acres of forested hiking and mountain biking trails. All guests also enjoy the added luxury of a complimentary, on-call guest shuttle. This guest shuttle provides door-to-door transportation to any location in Breckenridge, including historic Main Street and the new gondola at the base of Peak 7.
The Snowflake Run outside your back door will lead to the Snowflake Lift which will whisk you away to the easy green run, Twister which leads to the base of Peak 8. Here, there are numerous chairlifts that will take you to other parts of the mountain including the challenging double black diamond Imperial Bowl at almost 13,000 feet. What a view! And take either the Colorado Super Chair or the Rocky Mountain Super Chair which will get you to the top and skiing in less than 10 minutes for the ultimate gain of daily vertical feet! There are 61 restaurants in the town of Breckenridge. The Wyndham Vacation Rentals shuttle can take you to Ridge Street for an excellent meal and wine at the historic Southridge Seafood Grille. Or journey on foot to the Pizza Parlour, in another historic building, for fantastic homemade pizza. If you are looking for a sports bar, try Downstairs at Eric's for homemade food and a game arcade. There is also late night fun in Breckenridge. A short walk or the complimentary shuttle can take you to Main Street for dancing at Cecelia's, an Irish toast at Napper Tandy's Pub or a martini and some jazz at the Blue River Bistro.

Gaze as sculptors from around the globe carve giant masterpieces out of 20-ton blocks of snow. Also at the Riverwalk Center are plays, comedy shows and concerts including performances from the National Repertory Orchestra. Or come for Oktoberfest when Main Street is closed off for fun, dancing and beer! In June, the Breckenridge Festival of Film hosts filmmakers and celebrities from around the world. Some of the better-known ski resorts include the Breckenridge Ski Resort, Crystal Peak Lodge, One Ski Hill Place, Beaver Run Resort, and Breckenridge Nordic Center. Aside from skiing, though, the area also offers hot-air-balloon rides, the High Line Railroad Park, Mountain Top Children's Museum, an ice arena, and, for those who like to throw back a few, the Broken Compass Brewery and Tap House. If you like the outdoors, you'll love Breckenridge. In addition to the great skiing, the area offers amazing hiking trails, horseback riding, mountain biking, and more. Some of the more famous outdoor hot spots include Boreas Pass Road, McCullough Gulch, Peak 8, Spruce Creek Trail, Vail Pass Path, the Sawmill Reservoir, Carter Park, Mohawk Lake Trail, and more.
